Alexa's POV

It was raining this Monday. Rainy days were the days that Cole wasn't surrounded by many people. When he got out of his car, he immediately went to my side of the car and opened it for me. I would've opened it myself if he didn't put on child lock. He held the umbrella over us and we made our way inside school.

"Why'd you put on child lock" I complain

"I wanted to open the door for you like a real gentleman" he says grinning widely. I roll my eyes.

He slings an arm over my shoulders and we walk in the building. The school was so loud. People start to come up to Cole to greet him. I spot Chase nearby. I sneakily escape Cole and head towards Chase. He sees me and immediately smiles.

"Hey Al!! How was the date?" He smirks

"It was amazing." I sum it up. My lips form into a small smile as I remember the events of that night.

"I'm pretty sure that as long as you two are together, whatever you guys do is amazing." He says. I laugh and agree with him. He walks me to my locker and as usual Jess is there. I haven't spoken to Jess since the whole Josh incident. It's not that I don't want to, I just don't have the time. Chase sighs when he sees her.

"Chase. Just forgive her. I did." I say. I can see the longing in his eyes.

"No. She hurt you." He says stubbornly

"Yeah. She hurt ME but if I can forgive her then you can too." I point out

"You've really forgiven her?"

"Yes."

"I guess..."

"I'll be sad if you don't."

"No! I'll give her a chance."

I smile triumphly. He chuckles and rolls his eyes at my childishness

"Admit it." I say. He looks at me with fake confusion

"Admit what?"

"You miss her." I state

"...yeah...I really do." He admits. He looks down sheelishly.

"OTP" I yell. He covers my mouth and playfully glares at me

"The only OTP here is you and..."He trails off. I glare at him and raise my hands in surrender. We laugh and continue making our way to my locker. As we got closer, I noticed Jess was with another girl. She was tall amd had hazel hair. Her eyes were hazel green and her lips were pretty pink. She looked so familiar...

"Hey Jess!!!" I say. Jess spins around and her eyes start to water when she sees me. She runs up to me and hugs me tightly.

"I'm so sorry Alex. I'm so so so sorry for everything." She says. Her vouce was shaky and I knew she was trying not to cry

"Jess...I've forgiven you long ago. Please please don't cry..." I say. She gives me a tight squeeze before letting go.

"I thought you hated me. I haven't seen you in so long. I thought you were avoiding me too." She says

"I kinda forgot to tell you that it was check up time with Brian." I say sheepishly

"I'm just glad you're not mad at me anymore. I have my two best friends back." She says

"Two?" I ask

"Hey Alex" the girl who was with Jess said

"Uhmm...hi? Who are you?" I ask in confusion

"Allie, it's me. Hailey?" She says

I stare at her and analyze her features once again. I gasp in shock once I finally realized she wasn't lying.

"Hails?" I say

"I'm back!" She says

I slowly walk up to her. I poke her cheek to see if she was real. When my finger touched her cheek, I slapped her. She and Jess look at me in complete shock. I didn't put all my strength in that slap. I was too sleepy and lazy to do that.

"That's for leaving us."

I then hug her tightly and bury my head on the crook of her neck.

"That's for keeping your promise to come back."

"I always keep my promises Alex" Hailey says as she hugs me back tightly

"God I missed you" I mutter

"I missed you guys too. And can I just say that A LOT of shit happened while I was gone." She chuckles. I pull away and laugh

"Fuck yeah." I agree

"Jess filled me in on everything already. I also hit her in the head for what she did to you." She says.

"Speaking of Jess...where is she?" I ask looking around. Jess was no longer with us, Chase wasn't here too.

"Ohh I get it. Nevermind. They'll meet us at lunch" I say

"They?"

"I have new friends now!" I smile widely

"Omg!!! I'm so happy for you Al!!" Shs squeals. I laugh and thank her.

During lunch I found Hailey and dragged her to my table. Chase and Jess were already sitting there. They were finaly sitting next to each other again.

"Hey guys!!" I smile. I glance at Chase. He nods his head with a wide smile and gives me two thumbs up. I take it they have made up.

"Hails, this is Chase. My guy best friend/ big brother" I say. When I say big brother, Chase lights up.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Hailey." She introduces herself

"I remember you. You're the girl that tripped and Robin helped you when your books fell." Chase says

"Uhm yeah. That's me." She blushes in embarrassment

Suddenly a pair of arms wrap around my waist. A kiss was planted on my shoulder.

"Hi."

"Hey" I laugh

Cole sits down next to me and puts his arm on my shoulders.

"No PDA love birds." Chase says with a smirk

"Excuse me. Last time I checked, hugging your girlfriend isn't PDA" Cole sasses

"It's called Public Display of AFFECTION. That hug was way too affectionate." Chase says

"Isn't that what you do in a relationship? Show them love and affection." Cole says

"Okay break it up ladies" I speak up

"Hey, you're the girl that Robin helped!" Cole says as he noticed Hailey.

"Can we not bring up the fact I tripped in front of three hot guys and 2 popular slutty girls." She says exasperated

"Cole this is my best friend, Hailey." I say trying to change the topic

"Oh!! You're Hailey! Well Hi! I'm Cole, Lexi's boyfriend." He says proudly. It was like he was dripping with pride. He sat proudly next to me with a proud grin on his face.

"WHAT?!?!" Jess yells. She glares at me.

"Oops? I forgot to tell you." I say sheepishly

"SUCH AN IMPORTANT PEACE OF INFORMATION AND YOU FORGOT TO TELL ME?!?!?" She yells. Chase sits her down and covers her mouth

"I'm sorry!! A lot of things happened over the weekend." I say

Jess crosses her arms, and Cole removes his hand from her mouth. She soon uncrosses her arms though and gets up to hug me.

"I'm so happy for you Al. You and Cole are perfect for each other." Jess says softly in my ear. Hailey soon joins in on the hug and congratulations.

We continued eating and talking when suddenly a tray of food is set down next to Chase. Robin plops down next to him and glares at Cole.

"Dude. For one, congrats on finally getting your girl and for two, how dare you just leave me there." He says

"Hello to you too Rob" Cole laughs

"Ariana has been whining and complaining to her minions about how it's like you've been avoiding her. I was able to escape when Olivia said she was going to the restroom." He says

"The other girls didn't see you?" Chase says

"No. They were busy listening to Ariana whine."

We looked at him for a few seconds before busting out into laughter.

"It's not funny!! It's annoying as fuck." He grumbles

"Why do you insist on being her boyfriend?" Jess asks after we've all calmed down. The boys tense up.

"The soccer team made a bet." I simply say. The boys look at me in shock.

"How'd you know?!" They ask

"I overheard you." I shrug and take a sip of my water

"And...you're not mad?" Cole says hesitantly

"I was furious. When I tried to talk to Olivia,she just brushed me off and completely ignored me. She's become slutty, rude, mean and overall a completely different person. If she won't listen to me, then it's her fault." I say

"What's the bet anyway?" Jess asks

"The typical make her love me shit. The bet is actually over but she's a good lay." Robin explains

"Stupid." We all say

He spots Hailey who has suddenly gone quiet. A look of recognition flashes in his eyes.

"You're the girl who-"

"Are you serious?! Is that the only thing you remember me for?! Tripping in front of you guys" she exclaims as she throws her hands in the air in exasperation

"I was gonna say you're the girl who was playing the piano after school the other day. But yeah I also remember you tripping." Robin looks at her in amusement. She blushes in embarrassment. Jess and I look at her with a wide smile

"You still make music?" Jess says

"Uhm duh! But now I make EDM kind of music. I have this really cool drum pad in the house annddd I'm starting to ramble. Sorry." She blushes again

"Hailey can play almost any instrument." I explain to the boys

"Hailey..." Robin mumbles to himself. Hailey hears him and blushes red again. I smirk. I know what's going on.

Apparently everyone knows too. They were all smirking at the two. The two were all looking at us in confusion.

"So uhm what were you doing after school anyways? I was sure that everyone was gone." Hailey asks Robin. He chuckles and smirks to himself

"Detention." Is his simple answer

"Ah of course." Hailey says with a roll of her eyes.

"Babbyyy" an annoying voice calls out. The sound of multiple heels clicking gets louder as they come closer. Robin and Cole groan loudly. Cole scoots closer to me.

"Baby what the hell are you doing here with them. You should be sitting with us." Olivia says

"My best friends are here" Robin shrugs

"Babe!!! I missed you!!!" Ariana squeals when she sees Cole. Cole sighs deeply and looks at us for help. We all shrug,making him glare at us. Ariana tries to pull Cole into a kiss but he shoves her off.

"Back off Ariana." He says firmly

"Excuse me?!" She squeaks

"Back. Off. I don't wanna have anything to do with you." Cole says

"A-are you...breaking up with me?!?!?"

"No. Cause there was never an us." Cole says

Chase starts coughing up the soda he was drinking. Me and the girls burst into giggles and Robin high fives Cole.

"Oh and Olivia? " Robin adds. Olivia looks at Robin

"We're over. The team now owes me $2 each." Robin says. Since everyone stopped what they're doing to watch and listen, the team heard what Robin said. Some groaned and others laughed.

"Y-you bet on me?!" Olivia exclaims in shock

"Did you actually think I would love a slutty whore like you...Yeah maybe in bed." Robin says

"I agree." Cole says looking at Ariana. The two girls huff and cross their arms.

"You're just joking. We don't belive you. We're all still togethet and we're still in love." Ariana says

"There was only one kind of love. Making love." Cole says

"Now shoo. Your presence is ruining our appetite" Robin says as he continues to eat. They let out an annoyed huff and walked away, swaying their hips as they do. Once they walked out the cafeteria, people started laughing. They were yelling "NICE ONE COLE" or "GO ROBIN" or "BUURRNNN".

"That was eventful." Jess says as we got up to walk to our next class.

"Damn right it was." Chase says

We all walked to our classes. Jess and Chase went to their classses while Robin, Hailey and I walked to ours. Cole pulled me back before I could get far.

"I need your help." Cole says

"Sure. What's up?" I ask

He doesn't speak. Instead he takes a hold of my cheeks and kisses me. Happiness fills me as always and my heart was skipping with joy. When we broke apart, he kisses my forehead. His kisses always made me unimaginably happy.

"What was that for?" I ask with a smile

"I needed your help. When Ariana came near us, I got disgusted. When she nearly kissed me. I wanted to yell at her. I just needed your help to cleanse the disgusted feeling when she was there. I also wanted to forget what it was like kissing her...okay...that and I just really felt like kissing you." He says. I laugh at his explanation.

"I think I'm all better now." He says

"Well I'm glad I could help." I say

He hugs me and kisses my cheek before letting me go. I rush to my next class as I was almost late. When I got in, I saw that Hailey left me a seat between her and Robin. I was dissapointed at that.

Soon, there will no longer be a space in between them.
