"C'mon Gracie, it's almost been a week." Morgan says from his spot next to her on the bed. She hasn't left her bed since the incident at the studio. "C'mon baby."
"Fuck off." Morgan leans over and rubs her back, tugging the sheets down a bit so he can see her beautiful face. "No, Morgan-" He grabs her hands and pulls her into a sitting position. She whines, giving the boy a dirty look. "Why do you hate me?" He giggles, pulling here ankles to get her to stand. "Morgan!"
He carries her bridal style to the bathroom and sets her down in the shower. "Stop it." She whimpers, slumping against the wall as Morgan helps her undress. "Leave me alone."
"You're gonna feel so much better once you're clean." He says, getting the water to a nice warm temperature.
"Don't go." She mumbles. Morgan smiles, stripping his sweats off before joining her in under the stream, helping her get cleaned up.
After their intimate shower, Maggie finds herself sitting on the porch with her pack of cigarettes and a hot cup of coffee. She has her feet kicked up on the table while her guest is sitting on the wicker chair next to her with his guitar in his lap. "I heard you've been workin' on a new song."
"I have."
"What is it?"
"Wouldn't you like to know." She gives him a small smile.
"C'mon baby."
"You'll have to wait." He whines playfully. "Oh stop it." She rolls her eyes at him as her phone starts ringing. "What's up, Michael?"
"Just checkin' in on you. Yesterday was pretty rough."
"I'm fine." She sighs. "Thanks for checkin'. You okay?"
"Of course. And yeah, I'm fine. Gus wanted to know if you were comin' back to the studio today to finish recordin' and I told him you probably won't be back until Monday."
"Thanks." She sighs again. "I really 'preciate y'all."
"Of course, baby. I gotta get goin'. Talk to you later."
"Okay bye." Maggie looks over at Morgan. "I need a drink."
"Wanna go out?" She bites her lip before nodding. "Really?" She nods again. "Well, let's get dressed!"

Magnolia gets herself dressed in a pair of flare jeans and a tight white crop top with a black fringe jacket. She keeps her hand tight around Morgan's as they head into the dive bar. She gives the bartender a wave as she pops a cigarette between her lips. "C'mon." She scoots her way to the old jukebox on the middle of the wall and slides a dollar in, picking Tuesday's Gone by Lynyrd Skynyrd before making her way to the pool table.
"You better be ready to put out because I'm gonna win." Morgan smirks, picking up a cue.

"You better be ready to put out because I'm gon' win." She shoots back, using the chalk against the end of the cue. Morgan gives her a playful smack on the ass as she's setting up the balls. He orders a couple drinks for them then returns to the pool table with them. "Thank you, my dear." She clinks her bottle with his, shooting him a wink with a flirty smile as she takes a drink.
They spend their evening laughing and chatting, just enjoying each other's company for a few hours.
Once they return to her home, he's shoved against the fridge with lips sloppily against lips. Morgan moans as Maggie tugs on his belt. "Fuck. You played a good game of pool, babe." She breathes against his neck, quickly undoing the buckle before the button of his jeans. "But I let you win."
"Mhm, yeah sure." He pants back, shoving her tank top off her beautiful body. "Whatever you say, Gracie." He starts leaving marks down her neck to her chest before he moves them to her bed.
She's almost to her climax when her goddamn phone starts ringing. Maggie huffs as she grabs it and answers it. "Hello?" She snaps, leaning over the boy beneath her. "Who is this? Oh, hey." She sits back, hips still flush against Morgan's as she leans back against his bent legs. "Yeah. I can get it to you in an hour or whatever. Shit, yeah I can give that back too." She reaches down and runs her hand over Morgan's chest. "Okay, yeah. Bye."
"Who was that?" He asks, holding onto her hips.
"Riley." She sighs before squealing as Morgan adjusts how they're sitting, his arm around her waist as he sits against the headboard with her still on top of him. "He wants his shit back." He nods, rubbing his thumbs over her skin. "Gotta get everything together. We're meeting at some diner in town." She slips off of him and starts getting dressed.
"Want me to come with?"
"That's not a good idea considering what happened after I picked you up from jail."
"Pfft."
"Don't 'pfft' me." She says, pulling on a pair of jeans along with a cute flannel. "He'd probably kill ya with that big ol buck knife of his if he saw us together returnin' his things."
"You've got a point, Maggie May." He says as he looks up at the ceiling. She purses her lips, throwing a pillow that's fallen to the floor at him. "Hey!"
"Don't call me that! I'm not Rod Stewart's muse!" Morgan snickers, tugging his boxers up his short legs. "Ugh." She grabs a nearby box that's left over from moving and starts filling it up with Riley's stuff; a couple hats, some flannels, a watch of his, and a couple cans of dip he left. "Wish me luck." She sighs, pulling her purse onto her shoulder.

"How're you, Mags?" Riley politely asks, leaning against his truck with his arms crossed. "You look good."
"As do you, Riley Green." She smiles, leaning against her own car. "So, here's your-"
"You wanna grab some supper?" He hitches his thumb toward the diner.
The offer catches her off guard. "Sure." She follows her ex fiancé into the small restaurant.
After their weirdly comfortable meal, they spend nearly an hour afterwards talking in the dimly lit parking lot, sitting on his dropped tailgate. She laughs at some of the things he says, that lovey dovey feeling she used to have for him is totally gone.
"I gotta get home." She says, sliding off the bed of the truck before bending over to grab his things out of her trunk. "Here's your-" Riley grabs her arm, spins her around then pins her against her car, kissing her that soft way he does. She pulls away then slides out from under him. "Stuff." Maggie shoves his boxes into his arms. "And here is your ring." She pulls the engagent ring from her pocket and drops it in his open palm, closing his hand around it.
She starts to get back in her car. "Hey," he starts, dropping his box into the bed of his truck before reaching into the cab. "Here."
He hands her a bag of her things and a vinyl.
"What's this?"
"My first record. I wanted you to have the first copy since I wrote most of them songs when we were together."
"Oh, wow. Thanks." She runs her fingers over the cover. "Congrats, Ri."
"Thanks. See you 'round, Mags." They share a quick hug before they go their separate ways.

"This song is good." Maggie says from the kitchen.
"What is it?" Morgan asks from bedroom, he's in the process of moving the rest of his things into her place.
"Uh." She picks up the record jacket and looks over the inside. "Huh."
"What?"
"I want to thank my family, first and foremost, my team, my buddies, and the girl that broke my heart, M. W." Maggie reads out loud. "Asshole! Do you believe this!?"
Morgan chuckles as he heads out to his truck to grab about box of his stuff. "I mean..."
"Morgan!"
"Just sayin' baby!" He says, dropping a box onto the floor. Morgan saunters his way back to the kitchen and slides his hands to her hips. "Goin' back to what you said the other day..."
"What was that?"
"I'm in love with you, Mags." He breathes against her neck. "I've been in love with you since eight grade." She turns and leans back against the counter with a blush coloring her cheeks. "I've never stopped." She smiles, running her hand over the side of his face before leaning up to kiss him. "And I'll never stop"
"You're such a goofball." She twist a strand of his brown hair around her fingers before squishing his cheeks. "Oh! I gotta get to the studio tomorrow." She reaches over for a cigarette.
"You look so fuckin' sexy when you smoke." He bites his lip as he watches her light up. He clears his throat when he feels his shorts tighten slightly. "So, whatcha workin on?"
"Somethin."
"Well, I gotta get to the studio tomorrow too." He mumbles against her neck, his hands slipping to her ass and under the baggy t-shirt she's wearing.
She hums out a laugh, elbowing him away to tap out her cigarette. "What are we?"
"Huh?"
"Us. Me and you. What are we?"
"Well, we're living together and y'know..."
"Are we together?"
"Do you wanna be?" She blushes with a nod. "Then we're together."

Maggie moans softly as Morgan kisses her neck slowly, his hand tugging on her belted shorts. She laughs under her breath, awkwardly undoing the buckle before sliding the denim cutoffs down her long legs. Morgan bites his lip as he watches, blushing hard while removes his own clothes. "Are you sure you wanna do this?" He asks her as he's in the process of kicking his own shorts off. "I- I mean..." Maggie turns to face him wearing nothing but her cute striped boy short panties. "Woah..." He clears his throat, sitting back down on the bed. "You're beautiful." He runs his hands over the curve of her hips and ass.
Maggie lowers him to sit on the bed, dropping herself on his lap. She smiles when she feels his hands on her waist and lips against the underside of her jaw. "Do you have, y'know," He reaches over to his desk and grabs his unopened box of condoms. "Okay." She giggles softly as she opens the box and tears a square off. Maggie drops the condom in his hand as she starts kissing him hotly, her fingers running over his muscular back. "You sure you wanna do this?"
"With you? I'm damn sure." He grabs her by the hips and lays her on her back to figure out how the fuck to roll the damn condom on.
Soon, Morgan becomes a man and Maggie, a woman.
Morgan's girlfriend is curled up against him, still fully nude. He finds himself admiring her, her beautiful, curl framed face and sexy body. "I love you." He says, rubbing her back.
That's the first time that's been said.
She rolls onto her side and looking over her shoulder at him. "Really?" He nods. "I love you too."

I want revenge. However, to get revenge, I need information. And for information, I need answers. Yet to get answers, I need power. But for power, I need to survive. They made a grave mistake leaving me alive and locking me in a dungeon cell. They will live to regret it. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is a story in a fantasy world with lots of fantastical elements, including magic and cultivation. However, there's also some decent technology in this world. Gaining power has a system and nothing comes out of nowhere. Essentially, the setting and background is high fantasy but the focus will be whatever the MC sees, so expect more of a gritty realistic low fantasy most of the time. The MC is not OP and uses his wits and strategy to survive, and maybe even thrive. The warning tags are just there because I don't want any limits to where this story may lead me to writing. *I don't own the cover*
