《Mages to Nannies (( Twisted Wonderland fanfic))》Orientation

Things were going so well. Everything was perfect. They had gotten ride of a pesky Beast. Everyone was being sorted. No one was missing. All that was left was one last Portal. Crowley walked over and Took out the Key. Turning it the Lid opened... But no body came out. Only a clump of Robes in the middle. Crowley bent over. There was no one inside. He was about to scuff at how unprofessional this was of the Mirror. Honestly Pulling Pranks at it's age when there was a small sound from inside.
"Ah he ahhh" Crowley turned and looked again. The Robes were moving. Crowley bent down and moved the hood, Two big eyes looked up at him. Short hair a little Pudgy face. They looked at him and a big toothless smile grinned at him.
'AHHAhahahaha!" Crowley blinked and picked them up. He wondered how such a Creature could have appeared here? The Mirror played Pranks but never took a baby from their Parents before.
"HeadMage?" Riddle asked. Crowley turned and had a sad look on his face. What had looked like a perfect Orientation was turning out to be the Exact opposite.
"It seems there had been...an incident" Crowley stated. A few onlookers gasped at seeing the little one Chewing on Crowleys cap. Crowley frowned and took it from them. The poor child sniffed looking up at him.
"there there, None of that. It seems this Orientations is finished. Everyone return to your dorms" He said many nodded. some turned and watched as they were carted away by their HouseWardens. All but Diasomnia who looked everywhere not sure where to go.
"Oh... It seems I am late. How odd. I was sure the Orientation would go on for a bit longer. Well I was just checking in to see if he would come... I am sad to say he didn't" A Young looking Boy floated slightly above the ground looking around.
"Ah Lilia, Yes. it would seem once again the HouseWardens have forgotten to Invite Mr. Draconia... However the Orientation did seems to... have come to a conclusion" Lilia looked and his eyes widened.
"Oh! A little one!" Crowley nodded and looked to the New Diasomnia students.
"May I request you take them to their dorms? I must get this one home. They are far to young to be attending such a Prestigious college. " Lilia seemed to Pout a little before nodding. He took the Diasomnia students away. Once alone Crowley sighed and looked down at the little one. He held them close.
'I am sorry little one... But you are far to young to be here...We should send you home" He looked at the Dark Mirror and took a break.
'Oh Dark mirror of old, You must send this little one back home. " He looked down as the Baby held out their arms trying to grab at him. They giggled loudly.
'This child....Is already home..." Crowley snapped his head up.
"What! That is not possible this is a baby they-" The little sneezed. and if Crowley was not a Master Mage nore used to Magical outbursts his Mask would have been Severally burned.
"The Child no longer has a home...They were to powerful to be left unattended.... They are now home where they can be Nurtured and cared for correctly.." The mirror turned black and Crowley blinked and looked down. The baby shook their head and smiled brightly at Crowley. Crowley glared at the mirror.
"Now see here! This is not the place for them!!" But the Mirror did not turn back on. It stayed dark. Crowley sighed looking down at the Baby. Even after shooting the Fire at Crowley, He noticed that they were far to cold. Crowley put his forehead to the childs. Freezing! Crowley rushed out of the Mirror Chamber and to the Infirmary. His cape flying past him as he ran.

"HeadMage Crowley? What a surprise?" Crowley looked at the Purple clad man.
"Ezmer, I need you to quickly check this child. I believe they are quite sick" Ezmer Rushed over and looked at the child. He touched their cheeks and looked at Crowley.
"I need to examine them..." Crowley looked a down. He couldn't seem to figure out what was holding him back from letting go. With a sigh he let go and allowed the Nurse to take the child away. After some time Ezmer came back with a more relaxed face.
"We were lucky, They were Hypothermic but they are warming up rather well. I believe they have a cold only. Where did you find a baby?!" Crowley crossed his arms.
"I wish I could say I was Gracious enough to have found them... But I can not. The Dark Mirror transported them here Via the Portals" Ezmer sucked in his breath.
"The Parents?! They should be Notified!" Crowley shook his head.
"No, I wish I could but even if they were found I wouldn't allow them to take that child! When asked the Mirror stated they had no home. What kind of Home life did they live to have it state that" Crowley put his hand to his mouth. Ezmer nodded and sighed.
"Well... They will need a name. We can not keep simply calling them "The child". Names are Important" Crowley sighed and pinched the Bridge of his nose.
"I am aware... Perhaps once they are better I will have one picked out." Ezmer nodded as Crowley turned. Ezmer will never tell a soul but he saw how Crowley paused at the door before leaving. He turned to the child and picked them up holding them.
"Well, Life at this school just got much more interesting." He smirked before setting the child down and keeping them warm.
~////////////////////////////////////////////////~
Days passed and Each time after Classes let out Crowley came to the Infirmary. He Came to the room Picked up the Child and looked into their eyes. The child would smile and pat Crowley's cheeks. They would laugh and giggle. Sometimes little sparks would fly from their hands or they would sneeze and fire would come forth. Crowley learned that this child was far more then they seemed.
They were Powerful. Far more then a child should be. Infact when Crowley allowed then to Hold a Mage stone he had to take it away quickly. It began to turn black far to fast. Blot.. The child was Infected with Blot! He could not allow them to hold the stones. After his test he locked away all the Magestones in his Possession.
A week passed and the Child got much better. They were feed and watched over by many who appeared in the Infirmary. It became well known on campus that the Child was still at the College. One who took great interest in them was Lilia who came almost as often as Crowley did. He would sit during breaks when he did not have to watch Malleus. Holding the child to him and telling them stories of the wars he fought. He was quite sure the Child was far more Intelligent then one their age normally was. then again in his Experience He had Raised a Fae and a Human. This child was Human as well. Or so it seemed.
When Monday night came Crowley walked into the Infirmary and Ezmer was feeding the child. Crowley walked up to them and smiled as the child looked at him and stopped eating raising their little hands at Dire. Want him more then Ezmer. Crowley smiled at them and picked them up from Ezmer.

"How is the little one today?" He said speaking more to Ezmer then the child. Even if the child garbled none Existing words at Crowley in response.
"They are doing well. It seems their cold is gone. They should be able to leave the Infirmary if you like... But where will they go?" Ezmer asked. The HeadMage was not one for letting people into his Personal Quarters after all. And with no Home or Dorm picked they didn't have many options.
"I will be Speaking with the Teachers and HouseWardens at the meetings tonight. I have even Invited Mr. Draconia my self to make sure of his Attendance. Aren't I so Kind?!... Ahem anyway I am glad to hear they are doing well.." Crowley held the child close. It hurt him to have to do this but... After speaking with the one who appointed him the Headmage here... He was not able to keep this child. He would however follow the Mirror's instructions. This child would stay here! Even if it meant he was trapped here for another hundred years. He owed this little one that.
With a small smile at Ezmer he mid him good night and took the child with him to the HouseWarden meeting. He made sure everyone was going to me in attendance. HouseWarden, ViceWarden and Teachers of the school. This was to Important of a matter to allow any to fall threw the cracks.
He walked up the stairs smiling tenderly at the child. They were so small. So Bight. Perhaps they were just what this Dreary College needed. Something bright to shine, To show them away out of the dark. He opened the door and walked in.
Just as he had hopped everyone was in attendance. Even the Shocking Idia Shroud was here. Though it looked as if he has been Dragged here by one Riddle RoseHearts. As Rosehearts was holding Idia by his wrist still. Many were shocked at the Horned HouseWarden being there. Just as they were shocked all the Teachers were there as well. This was not a normal Occurrence. Crowley straightened and Held the Child close. This would not be easy for him. It took much of his Energy to Convince the One who appointed him not to send the child to that Damned Haunted Ramshackle.
They had made a deal. If Crowley could convince the HouseWardens and teachers to take part in the Child's up Bringing then the Child would not be sent away or to the Ramshackle. This was Of most importance. Even the Learning who was the Murderer and who was the true love in his Horror Romance book ((that he only read Ironically and not because he was actually very fully invested)) was put aside for this. Crowley took a breath and smiled his Broad grin.
"Greetings I see everyone is accounted for! Wonderful! We may begin" everyone Stared at him. Divus narrowed his eyes.
"Dire... What is that child still doing here? Have you not sent them home yet?" Divus was a good man. He may seem harsh much like his Friend Trien. He cared Greatly for Children. Infact he would do almost anything to keep them safe.
"I assure you Divus all will be reviled. Now I am sure you are all wondering Why I have called this Emergency meeting" There were nods and a few mutters.
"It is for this little one... In my arms" The little one in Question giggled. Crowley smiled softly before it turned sharp at the onlookers.
"As you are aware, During this year's Orientation an incident accured. The mirror chose a baby to come to our school... This how ever is Very unorthodox" There was a grumble.
"I'll say, Why haven't you sent the Cub home yet" Ah Leona Kingscholar. He was going to be a tricky one to pull over to his side. His Master had made it Certain that this was going to be a all or None situation.
"They do not have a home to return to" Crowley stated. Kingscholar had a Nephew. Though he knew Leona Portrayed an air of Defiance and Hatred to his Nephew. He also knew he wished him to be a better man then his brother was. To give Harsh love to show the Harshness of the world around him. Leona unfolded his arms.
"The Mirror has stated that the Child is to Remain here on Campus. However I am far to Busy to take on such a child. So I have a preposition to you all." Yes Crowley was quite good with Lies. He could Lie to all of them about how he did not want the Child. make Excuses. Hide the truth.
"A Preposition HeadMage? I would love to hear it." Azul Ashengrotto. Crowley would need to be Certain he did not use the child for their own gain. Perhaps giving the child to someone that could bond with them and Protect them would insure their safety.
"Yes, You see someone will ofcourse need to look after this one. My Preposition is that you all do so. Every week the Child will change Dorms. For that week the HouseWarden will take care of the child with the help of the Vice. Think of this as a sort of... Home Act assignment" Crowley smirked. That was quite Clever of him to pull out of his Arse. But he did. There were outbursts ofCourse.
"What!?"
"A child?!"
"An Alice? At Heartslabyul!?"
"You can't be serious!" Crowley stood and the child started to Cry. Lilia however walked over.
"May I hold them?" Crowley nodded and Lilia held the child and Crowley did as he did best he slammed his hand down.
"Enough!" The child cried harder and Lilia rocked them. Oh Lilia was already attached and stating so. Good. Perhaps Diasomnia would be best to start then.
"Shhh shhh little one it will be alright" Lilia said giving a small fanged smile. malleus stood looking down at them. The Child much to form grinned and reached out. Malleus smiled and chuckled at the little one. The room quieted.
'You may all state your concerns however do so in an orderly fashion. There is a young one Present" Crowley said standing up straighter. The first to Voice their concern was a Very Obvious Leona. He stood first.
"Crowley, We should not have to take in some Stray Cub." He said Glaring. Crowley however stood tall.
"I am stating this. As I have seen you need all the Extra Credit you can get Mr. Kingscholar. You are on the Brink of Failing yet another year and the Semester has only Barely begone" Leona blinked and Glared.
"This is an Opportunity. To learn what it takes to Care for a Child before going out into the world." One Crowley knew he could count on grinned and nodded.
'I think this is an Amazing Idea haha! It will be like My youngest Sibling is Visiting! Jamil isn't this great!" Kalim. Heir to the Asim Family. Also known to have Over 35 Siblings. His Servant and ViceWarden Jamil sits next to him. Crowley felt a small sting in his heart for the boy. He had wished he could have made him HouseWarden. but his own Master would not allow it. He was as much of a Slave to his Master as the Mirror was.
"wonderful" Jamil said with his Mask in place. But he would not go against Kalim. That was Four on his side. Only a few more and the rest would follow.
"Must we do this? We don't even know this kid. Not to mention they have total MC states right now." Idia Shroud stated. Crowley had to keep Calm. This was a Heir to the Gate. He must be Cautious with this one.
"We must prepare for dealing with young souls. No Matter the age" Idia jumped and looked down. Crowley was not appointed as HeadMage for nothing. He knew just the Right words to get anyone to do anything for him. Dealing with Souls was Idia's work after this. Dealing with Young and old. and all in between. Though The cover Story was well laid out.
"I believe This will be a rather wonderful way to Broaden our horizons" Jade stated smiling as Lilia held the child. Azul nodded along with him.
"I agree. It will only be for a week every 2 months. You are all acting as if this will Take up your time." Azul said waving them off. He smirked at the Child. Lilia looked and something Sharp Gleamed in his eye. Protection. Yes Diasomnia will work nicely for a First dorm Visit.
"I do not see the Harm. The Littlest Potato is welcome in our Dorm. Don't you agree Rook?" Vil and Rook. Two Students that while got many Transfers out of their dorm. Were always willing to lend a helping had when it came to Appearances. Rook nodded along.
'Oh it will be wonderful to Teach the little one! little Papillon" He said smiling brightly. That was 8 more then Half. After a moment Leona saw he wasn't going to win this one and nodded.
"Fine, But I don't do Diapers" He said leaning back. Idia looked at everyone and sighed.
"Alright..." Every one turned to Riddle. He sighed.
"I suppose, It would be all well and good to learn a new skill. Trey you have younger sibling don't you?" Trey Clover. He would agree. And just as Expected Trey rubbed the back of his head and nodded.
"Yes I do. It shouldn't be to hard. however Riddle don't expect them to Follow the Queen's rules." Riddle raised his head in a hmph before unexpecting nodding. Crowley walked over and looked at Lilia and Malleus. Lilia handed him back the Child.
'I believe we are in agreement as well" Malleus stated. Lilia grinned and nodded.
'Yes It will be so nice to hear little feet again!" Crowley turned to the teachers. He did not need to worry for the Teachers. He could already see the Wheels in Divus brain spinning. Plotting new Clothes for the Poor little one who was still wrapped in the Robe they arrived in.
"We will help with Finances then" Divus stated after looking at Trein. Trein nodded along. Vargas while not the Brightest man in the book grinned.
"Sure can do!" Lilia blinked.
"Who will watch them during classes though? They can not be left alone!" Crowley nodded. He had This conversation with his Master as well. It would hurt their Education... Thus his master had given this Boon.
"I will be able to watch them While Class is in sessions. However the HouseWarden or ViceWarden that is in charge during that time will come and Gather them after Class lets out. They will dine with you during Breakfast and Dinner. I will give them lunch however. Aren't I just so Gracious" Crowley said. It was a Nervous Tic of his. Something while he did not wish to always say. If one payed attention they would notice he says such when he knew he was asking to much off all those around him.
"Well who will get Swind-... I mean Given the Child first then?" Azul said smiling brightly. Crowley caught it and kept a sigh at bay. It was time to Say goodbye. Atleast until tomorrow during the day.
"I Request Diasomnia to take the Child first. I have heard Lilia has Experiance after all" Cowley smiled. Lilia grinned.
'Then we shale do our best to take good care of them! When will the Changing of the Dorms be?" Crowley thought and nodded.
"I believe Monday evening would be best. As you all will drop them off At my Office in the morning. At night the next to Receive them will pick them up... I have decided. Diasomina will be first, Followed by Heartslabyul, Next will be Savannaclaw, Followed by Octavinelle. Scarabia will be next. Then Pomefiore. Ignihyde and then back to Diasomina. Are we all in agreement" There were nodds and Crowley nodded back.
"Then tomorrow I shale give drop Necessities off with Crowley so you may pick them up after classes.... Crowley. what about a name? Certainly they can't just get called "The child" A pup must always be named" Divus stated. Crowley nodded and looked at the child in his arms.
"I have decided to Name them Yuu. However they will not have a last name for now..." There were nods and Crowley thought of the Fire. He had best warn them.
"One last thing before we adjourn. Yuu seems to have some Magical Talent. however this will cause-" Yuu sneezed Shooting Sparks everywhere. Luckly Crowley saw that they were about to do and put a shield around himself and Yuu to protect them from any stray sparks. that could not be said for poor Kalim who pushed got shocked.
"Magical Outbursts.... You will all have to Brush up on your Protective spells. You will learn how to Handle them in time" Crowley smiled but inside he whispered in the depths of his mind.
"hopefully"

The Traveller from Afar
Lucas didn't know what he wanted, but it certainly wasn’t to get dragged into the middle of a another world. Too bad for him the universe had different plans and now he has to deal with the consequences of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. At least it isn't all bad, he gets to finally make use of those cooking lessons he was dragged into. Chapters 1-4 are kind of like a prologue, they are self contained and only give some background information for the rest of the story.*********This is my first attempt trying to write any type of longer form story so I have no idea if any thing I produce will be readable, I've tried to make sure I have a decent level of grammar and there are no spelling mistakes, but if you do find any please let me know. I am also from the home of tea and crumpets (the uk) so if there are some u's and s's your not used to seeing thats probably it. Uh I dont really know what else to put in a story description so just give it a shot and let me know what you think, any pointers would be greatly appeciated.

The Princess And Her Warmonger
"Let me tell you a true story about a mouse and a Warmonger, and the unlikely relationship that sprouted between them in the time of endless war." Nostalisk is a world in endless constant war. The Factions of this world endlessly fight for power, this fighting called the Great Wars, a war that has been alive for over four million years. Currently, one of the largest Factions has withdrawn from the endless fighting. This Faction, known as the Kingdom, hopes to forget their past of endless bloodshed and how they were almost destroyed because of it. In the Kingdom, Princess Isalene, the only princess of the Kingdom, is stuck choosing a new personal guard after her previous one died. Despite her father, King Robert, helping her choose a new guard, Isalene decides to head to the arena to see how the knights on the list her father gave her act outside of the eyes of royals. When she arrives at the arena, she sees a knight fighting that is not on the list her father gave her. Named Cruel Knight, this knight is a vicious knight with confusing morals. Despite hating violence, Princess Isalene can't help but be drawn to the knight and their graceful yet cruel fighting style and strange weapons. Princess Isalene continues to watch them and soon learns that Cruel Knight is a Warmonger named Sharia, and is female at that, meaning she is a prisoner. She isn't in there for something simple as disobeying a direct order or killing a noble, but for prolonging a war. Despite knowing this, Princess Isalene can't stop thinking about the Warmonger and suddenly gets a "smart" idea. She'll make Sharia her new personal guard to find out more about her! What could go wrong? And so begins the odd relationship between Sharia The Warmonger and Princess Isalene. One is a peace-loving sheltered naive princess who hates violence and the other is a vicious, cold, twisted, and cruel Warmonger who hates the kind of peace Isalene and the current Kingdom loves. Polar opposites. Yet, even the Warmonger can't help but grow a strange liking to her new "annoyance". But, can the two really get along? After all, Sharia's whole mindset sees Isalene as a waste, and it seems that everyone Isalene talks to tells her to fire Sharia before something terrible happens. But, then again, during this time of budding danger, this odd couple may be what the Kingdom needs. After all, when a large faction such as the Kingdom starts growing soft and weak, they become a rather irresistible target. [After thinking on it, I decided to start a re-write of The Princess And Her Warmonger, adding more details, fixing the switching POVs somewhat, and fixing some of the issues with the story. Don't worry, all of the chapters are still here, I am just making new ones and replacing the old chapters one at a time] (This story can also be found on Scribble Hub and Webnovel) [Cover art is not mine]
