Where julie wont get out of bed so luke tries a different method

Its 7am on a Saturday morning and luke is out of bed.

I know what your thinking 'why on earth is luke Patterson out of bed that early on a saturday?'

Well the reason for that is because the band have a meeting with their manager about a tour at 10am and julie is almost impossible to wake up, especially on the weekends so luke has to wake up extra early to get her out of bed.

Right now luke is in the kitchen downstairs drinking coffee to prepare him for what's about to come.

After he drinks his coffee he takes a deep breath and makes his way upstairs to his and Julie's room where julie is still peacefully sleeping

'Not for long' luke thought.

"Julie baby, time to get up, we have a meeting today remember?" Luke shook julie gently in attempt to wake her.

Julie simply turned over ignoring the her husband completely.

"Come on hunny, we cant be late you know Covington with have our heads" he tried again, shaking her.

"Go away" julie grumbled throwing a pillow at Luke's head.

Luke shook his head, half amused, half annoyed

'Right then, plan B' he thought.

Luke climbed on the bed, straddling Julie's legs. He started kissing all over Julie's face.

Julie grumbled but had a hint of a smile on her face.

"Luke I love you but get off me before I push you off the bed and let me sleep"

Luke sighed and got off her, he didnt want to become a pancake on the floor, she had done it before.

Just then he heard his phone ring, it was reggie.

"Hey" he answered.

" hey, you trying to wake Julie?" Reggie asked knowingly.

Luke huffed "yeah, its proving to be an impossible task, you dont fancy popping up and helping me do you?"

"Sorry bro, theres no way I'm waking the devil" reggie answered with no regret at all

Over the years they found that Luke was the only one who could wake Julie without angering her, even if it did take an hour.

"Well I tried, well I have to come up with new methods, so see ya later"

"Alright bye"

Luke put his phone down on the side table wracking his brain for new ideas.

He suddenly got an idea.

Luke went to the kitchen to make hot chocolate.

Julie loved hot chocolate in the morning, so hopefully she would get out of bed for it.

Once the hot chocolate was done with whipped cream and marshmallows, luke made his way upstairs and placed the cup down on the side table.

"Jules, I got you hot chocolate" luke gently shook his wife awake again.

Julie's eyes opened "pass me" she mumbled hand out

"Sorry baby but you can only have it if you get out of bed" luke smiled at the girl

Julie frowned "not worth it then" and he eyes fell back closed.

Luke huffed

'Right, this is my last attempt before I get a bowl of water and throw it on her' but then he thought of the consequences 'yeah maybe not, I dont want to miss out on Julie snuggles'

Luke walked over to the bed and picked julie up, bouncing her in his arms, like you would to a baby.

Slowly, Julie's eyes opened, her lips stretched out into tired smile.

"Hi" she mumbled.

Luke smiled down at the girl "hey baby"

He took the pair of them downstairs and placed Julie on the sofa, too which she protested and wouldnt let go of Luke's shirt so he gave in and sat on the couch with her cuddled into his chest.

"Fine but only for 10 minutes because otherwise we will be late"

Julie simply nodded into his chest.

They did end up being a few minutes late to the meeting, and Covington did go off on a rant about why it was so important to be on time but understood when he learnt why they were late.

Everyone knows how hard it is to wake julie.
