-To his dissatisfaction his eyes stay a normal color

-So to appease himself, he bites his finger until it bleeds and a chain shoots out

-"Still got THAT at my fingertips, bitches," he mutters

-Opens up his Rx bottle and takes his daily pill or else he will be drowning in an indescribable emptiness

-Goes to his closet and tries to decide whether today is going to be an ethnic day (tabard) or business casual (black suit)

-Greets you at the breakfast table and you give him a plate of food

-As he's eating it, he suddenly chokes on a mouthful and his eyes turn scarlet

-He takes his fork and FLINGS it across the room

-You go check it out. There was a little house spider crawling on the wall

-"Babe," you tell him. "Cool down. I've got Raid under the sink. No need to pierce holes in the plaster"

-He resumes eating

-"So what's up for today? Are you, like, going after C.L. and the P.T. today?" (You are forced to use initials because when you say the actual names, he goes ballistic, and then he just gets all red-eyed and feverish and has to lie in bed for a few days, and you have plans this weekend that you don't want to spoil)

-"No, but what I'm doing is undercover, I can't really tell you much about it"

-"Whyyyy," you whine. "Don't worry, I won't rat you out"

-"Ha ha ha. Have a good day"

-"Be careful out there, babe. Aren't you afraid sometimes with all that crazy shit you do?"
