《Jotaro Kujo (Part 6) - Remember Us》Sick Day

Another week went by, and Jolyne went back home to her mother. She had to go to University and it was closer there. And it was me and Jotaro again.
Cough cough
I rolled on my side feeling the vibrations of the coughs.
Sniff.
I groaned as I tossed the other. It was very cold, so I pulled the covers to gather them around me. I squeezed my eyes tighter hoping to sleep more, and let the drowsiness take me away.
Cough cough COUGH
Jotaro called my name.
"Hm?"
"Are you okay?" He called. The bed creaked as he moved.
I felt a hand on my forehead. I mumbled swatting his hand away the best I could without opening my eyes, "I'm fine. Give me five more minutes."
A sigh came from Jotaro. "No, just stay in bed. You have a fever." His hand landed on my cheek. He caressed my cheek. "Get some more sleep instead. I'll be back." His hand left my face.
I reached out as the sudden warmth disappeared. "Jotaro." I called. "Jojo." I sniffed.
"Hm?" The hand was back on my face.
"Just stay a little longer." I gripped his hand. It was so much warmer.
"Alright." The bed creaked again as Jotaro laid beside me. He was laying with his side against me. He was so warm.
I scooted closer until I reached his side. I felt his arm wrap around my shoulders, pulling me in close. "Mm, you're warm."
A laugh reverberated from beside me. I could feel his calm breathing. The rhythm of his breathing lulled me to sleep.
When I came to, I had no idea how much time went by. The warmth was gone, but I could feel more covers over me. I finally opened my eyes. Sunlight filled the room. The dolphin plushie that Joraro got from Morioh was beside me. The clock said that it was ten in the morning.
I wanted Jotaro.
Cough cough cough "Jotaro," I called with my voice raspy. My throat hurt. I sat up.
The room spun around me.
I manifest my stand to find him. My stand left the bedroom to search the house.
First, I checked his office. He wasn't there. Then I checked the living room. He wasn't there. Finally, I checked the kitchen.
Jotaro was there. He was at the stove cooking. He had his hat on as usual.
My stand went over to him. As my stand, I wrapped my arms around his shoulders. I kissed him on the cheek.
Jotaro looked behind his shoulder to look at me stand smiling back. He said, "Hold on. I'm making you some soup, okay?"
My stand nodded. I had my stand hold on to him as he moved around to get a bowl and a spoon.
He poured the soup into the bowl. He made his way to our bedroom. He said, "Good morning, sweetheart." He came over to me. He sat down. "You look horrible."
I said hoarsely, "Whatever." I rolled my eyes which didn't help the fact that everything was still spinning around me. I laid my back against my pillows.
Jotaro foxed the pillows behind me, so I was sitting comfortably. Then he put a spoon of soup to my face and said, "Open wide."
I opened my mouth.
He began feeding me.
"I think," I struggled. "I can feed myself."
Jotaro challenged, "Grab the spoon." He held it about a half a meter away from my face.

When I reached for it, he quickly moved it out of the way. I glared at him. I reached for it again, but he moved it out of the way again.
He gave me a smirk.
I sighed, "Fine."
Jotaro continued feeding me until the soup was all gone. He pulled the covers up to my shoulders and said, "Get some more rest, sweetheart."
I slid down into my collage of covers. Almost immediately, I fell asleep.
What he did was what I've done for him when he was sick. It was rare for Jotaro to get sick, but I thought about the last time he did get sick.
He didn't want to stay in bed. Not only that, he had a high fever and was slightly delirious. In fact, it was almost impossible to get him to stay in place and get the rest he needed.
I had to resort to 'drastic' measures. I used one of our handcuffs on one of his wrists to stay in place. I fed him the food he needed to eat. I made sure he got liquids to stay hydrated. When he slept or finally calmed down, I undid the handcuff.
There was one downside of him having to rest and stay in place. He had time to think about the past.
It hurt my heart to hear him wake up in tears when he thought too much about his old friends and family. I made sure to stay close to him and stay by his side.
And that's what he was doing with me now.
When I woke up, Jotaro was beside me with a bottle of water in his hands.
I reached out to the water bottle.
"Sit up," he said. He helped me sit up.
I leaned against him. I barely had any energy. I was so cold.
He gave me the bottle.
I gobbled that water down as I felt very thirsty. I choked a little and began coughing.
"Slow down," he said. He pat my back.
So I did slow down. After I was done, I laid back down.
Jotaro asked, "Do you need anything?"
I answered hoarsely, "You. You're warm."
"Mm," was all he said. He got back in bed and wrapped his arms around me.
I laid my head against his chest. I cod hear his breaths and his heartbeat. It was so calm and warm and his body enveloped mine. I wish I could stay like that forever.
Of course, I was rendered exhausted and fell asleep.
The next time I woke up, Jotaro was gone and that dolphin plushie was in my face.
I sat up in bed. I didn't feel dizzy this time. I glanced at the clock and noticed it was going on two in the evening.
There was only so long he could stay in bed watching me.
The door opened with Jotaro holding a bowl and a bottle of water. Star Platinum opened the door for him and disappeared. He came over to me and said, "Eat."
"Okay," I said with my throat not feeling as bad anymore.
Jotaro placed the bowl on my lap with a spoon. He sat down on the bed beside me.
"Thank you," I said putting my hand on his cheek. I could count on him to take care of me when I got sick. He was such a sweet man. "You've been such a good boy."
Jotaro inhaled through his nose and grabbed my hand. He placed my hand on my lap and said, "Thank you." He pulled his hat down to cover his eyes. "Now eat."

I ate a spoon full of soup without taking my eyes off of him. I giggled, "Did I make you blush?"
His face grew red.
"Do you like being called a good boy?"
He didn't say anything. He hesitantly nodded.
"Got it." I made a mental note to use that in the future. That was too cute. I wonder if he was trying to control himself since I was sick. More like I needed to control myself. I couldn't get him sick.
But he was so warm...
After I was done, the thought of his warmth took over my brain. I mumbled, "You're so warm that I want you inside me."
Jotaro froze.
I wrapped my arms around his waist to hold him flat against me. I had no idea where the bowl went, neither did I care. I just wanted his warmth.
That shirt was in the way. No matter how skin tight that shirt was, it was too far.
I pulled his shirt up laid my head against his chest. That wasn't enough.
Maybe if I take my shirt off-
"Absolutely not," he said pulling my short into place. "You're already sick. You can't be expose to the cold like that."
I pouted, "Meat to meat."
"What does that even mean?!" He sighed, "Yare yare daze." He wrapped his arms around me to hold me close. He reached for the covers and put it over our bodies. After the blankets were over us, he reached under my shirt and rubbed circles on my back.
Felt like I could melt into him.
His heartbeat. His chest raised and fell with every breath. His chest looked so... delicious?
One of his hands reached down to tap my bottom. He muttered, "What are you thinking? Your breathing changed."
"You look so delicious." I said as I opened my mouth ready to chomp.
"Let's not," he said. "You're sick."
I said, "But you're so hot." I squeezed my arms around him tighter. I'm so cold, and I needed his heat.
He tense, "You mean temperature-wise, right?"
I replied, "What else would I be talking about- oh." I paused.
His chest shook as he laughed quietly.
I pouted, "Don't laugh at me." This time I bit his pectorals.
He gasped and pushed my face away to the side gently. He continued rubbing my back.
I hummed feeling very content in the position I was in.
Soon I fell back asleep.
I had a peculiar dream. I was in the house alone. I had no idea how I knew, but there was a sneaky suspicion. I woke up in bed, but Jotaro was gone. I left the room.
The hallway was so quiet. I looked into the office.
Jotaro wasn't there.
I went to the guest room.
He wasn't there.
I walked to the living room, then the dining, then the kitchen.
He was no where to be found.
I ran outside. The beach was stone cold. The water wasn't moving. The sky was the only thing moving.
The clouds were swirling fast. The sun was a blur in the sky.
The only thing that came in my mind.
Made in heaven.
Alarmed, I ran back inside the house. I ran around searching for... someone important. I couldn't remember his name. It was like his existence was gone.
I ran back to the bedroom hoping to find that person.
He wasn't there.
My heart throbbed in my chest painfully. I wanted to scream his name. Nothing would come out of my mouth. The only thing that could come out was a pathetic whimper.
"Hey."
I was jolted awake. I was clinging on to Jotaro for dear life as I cried. "Jotaro. You were gone."
He placed his hand on my hand to hold my head to his shoulder. "I'm here."
I sobbed, "Don't go away."
He said, "I'm not."
"Jotaro." I said his name again. I didn't want to forget his name.
"Yeah?"
I said his name again to soothe myself. "Jotaro. I don't want to forget you. Jotaro."
"Okay," he simply said as he rubbed my back.
After a while, I calmed down, but I wouldn't let go of him. Maybe it was my fever that was taking a toll on me.
Since I wouldn't let go, Jotaro actually held me on his back when he left the room. He walked down the steps to the kitchen. It was getting late, and we both needed something to eat.
I sat on the stool while my stand held on to his shoulders as he cooked.
After he was done, we sat together and ate.
Jotaro asked, "How are you feeling?"
"Tired," I answered. I continued eating despite not having the appetite.
"Afterwards let's get you in a warm bath," he planned.
I laughed weakily.
"What?"
I explained, "I did the same with you when you were sick." The only difference, the first time, we weren't in a relationship at that point. I was just making sure he was okay and taking care of him. I had to put my emotions aside.
"Oh," he said. "I guess you did."
After we ate, we- well, he got me in bath. I sat there dazed and staring at Jotaro, who was fully clothed. With his hat, of course.
Jotaro asked, "Are you feeling cold?"
I shook my head no as the water was hot and up to my chest. This felt quite nice actually. It felt like at any moment, I could fall...
"Hey!" Jotaro yelled. He grabbed me by my arm forcing me awake. "You almost fell asleep." He was actually damp. "Yare yare daze. I can't leave you for a second.
How did the water get on him?
He held on to my arm. He proceeded to wash me up and down with Star Platinum holding me in place.
I was still dozing off a bit. I was barely aware of anything.
By the time he was done, he placed a towel over my head. He pulled me up and mumbled a few more good griefs as he dried me off. "You'll be in bed soon, sweetheart."
In a blink of an eye, I was warmly clothed. Then in another, I was in bed. Maybe it was the fever, but it felt like I basically teleported there.
Jotaro bent over to give me a kiss on the forehead. "I'll be back."
"No," I called.
"I just need to take my own shower, okay? I'll be back quickly." He waited for me to answer.
"Okay."
When he left, despite missing him, I fell asleep. The next time I woke up, Jotaro was getting into bed with me. He held me closely. He said, "Good night, sweetheart."
I smiled and mumbled, "Good night."
Next time I woke up, it was morning. I felt a bit better. I felt well rested. I glanced down at Jotaro.
Jotaro was on his back with his arm spread out towards me. He was snoring quite a bit. I guess he needed the sleep after taking good care of me yesterday.
I love this man.
