Marco was half awake and half Dream crying.. he felt something on top of him.
He heard his name... He woke up, and saw Star.
"Hey Marco! Guess Who!!!"
"St-Star!" and he hugged her. They broke the hug, and looked into each other's eyes. "S-So how did you come back?" Marco asked breaking silence but not the gaze between each other. "I begged my mom." both laughed. They then continued on with their gaze. "M-Marco I missed you so much. I'm sorry for what I had said." Tears were slowly escaping her face, but I wiped them off of her face with my thumb. She smiled, and I put my hand on her cheek. "Star, it's ok. That took a lot of courage! You did good!" She smiled. "But, you don't like me back do you? You still like Jackie right? That probably made you hate me a little." She was crying again. I looked into her eyes, and said,"Star, look at me!" She looked at me ," I will never ever in my life, hate you ok? Even if I become corrupted or something! You'll have to talk to me enough to find the me that lov- I-I I mean..." I blushed and face palmed. Star said," Th- The you that what?" I looked at her, and she smiled, and we both started to laugh cry. After about 5 minutes of that, we gazed into each other's eyes again. I've never before noticed how beautiful her eyes were until now. "Wh- What?" Was I staring?! "Oh! N-Nothing! Sorry, I was just... lost..." Wait, what did I just say?

Star chuckles and says," Where are you lost? M-Maybe I can help you..." she face palms, and I laugh. "Well, there's this girl..." she laughs. She's so cute. WHAT?! "Jackie? You've already got her..." she kinda just slouches. "No. It's another girl. She always makes me laugh, she encourages me, she's there for me no matter what, and I can't survive without her. But, I haven't seen my love for her until now." She looks surprised. "S-So... Wh-Who i-is this g-g-girl you so-speak of?" I hold her cheek, and look into her eyes. "Her name... is Star Butterfly..." she chuckles, and I'm about to kiss her. Here goes nothing. You can do it Diaz! "M-Marco?!" I hear.

Just a few warnings before you read the novel, so you won't be disappointed. First of all, as you can probably tell, I took more than a few ideas from pokemon and the like. It's almost impossible to write a novel where creatures (Iferes) have a major part in, and not relate it to pokemon. However, as you will see as the novel goes on, I tried (and I think I succeeded) in making a universe of my own. I am sure you will like it. Secondly, compared to pokemon, my novel is a lot darker, as you probably noticed by the synopsis. I also try to give a wild west vibe to it, if you know what I mean. Thirdly, you should check out my fanfic Broke: A Clone Wars Tale. Biased as I am towards it, I think it's a great story, and so do many of my readers. It will also give you a glance at what writing style to expect. Fourth and last, I feel like it's only fair that I tell you I am a student. As much as I love writing, my main priority will always be my studies. After all, writing is just a hobby for me, at least for now (fingers crossed). As such, there probably will be interruptions in the release schedule here and there, but, if you followed me on my other novel, you will know I rarely missed an upload, and, when I did, I always made up for it.
