"Star, wait." She stays right where she is, and sits down. "Jackie, I'm sorry. She just returned! She left me for so long, and-" Jackie cuts me off by saying,"I know. That's all you've been talking about! 'Oh Star would love or hate this! Oh I wish Star were here! STAR STAR STAR!!' It's never about me!" She was crying. Star,being the kind girl she is, got up, and hugged Jackie.
"St-Star?!"
Jackie seemed surprised. I knew that it was just Star being Star. "I think you need to talk to a certain person. He helped me when I was sleep spelling!" Star looked at me, and we tried not to laugh. "No Star, I'm good. I actually just remembered what I was doing here." She went up to me, held both my hands, and looked me in the eyes. "Marco, you're a great person, and I could never want anything more than the happiness you give me! But lately I've noticed that you've been down. I think... I think we need some space..."
I looked at her in disbelief and relief. I do need a break from her. "Th-Thanks Jackie." She walks away, and Star hugs me right away. "I'm sorry Marco. This is all my-" I cut her off by saying,"No it's not. I missed you so much." and I hug her. "Me too safe kid."

Think of this as a combination of Dr Stone and Black Clover! I am writing this story using similar structures to anime seasons, and the chapters in itself are structured more like manga chapters. The first two seasons are already planned out, and it is likely going to be daily upload (12 noon EST) of chapters from ~ 2 k words in length during the 'season' when there is backlog of chapters, with a week or two of a break in between seasons if no backlog. This is a story about a somewhat normal human, on a hike on Hardangervidda in Norway, that end up walking out in Alfheimr instead of Earth. Alfheimr is one of the nine realms of the old Norse religion, home of the light elfs. Its quite a culture shock, and he don't really know the language, culture or religion. The decisions he make have consequences, and some will change Alfheimr. He decide that if he's ever going to get back to Midgard he have to travel to a bigger town, try to find information, make money and so on. So he's trying to be smart, and pretends to be a mysterious wandering magician. Should be easy to fake right? ... and thats the first decision with gigantic consequences, since he doesn't know that only women do magic. A man doing magic is automatically unmanly. Oops. Be warned; English isn't the Authors primary language, and its mostly written in first person view. The story progress will be slow.
