[Chapter 30]
"Feel okay?" I ask Leonard.
"I'm fine," Leonard smiles and grabs my hand as we wander around the Waverider. "Stop worrying about me and worry about yourself."
I smile back at him.
"I'm not worried about little me. I can handle myself," I say.
"Then why are you worrying about me?" Leonard asks.
"Because I've haven't felt this way about anyone in a long time and I don't want to lose you," I say quietly.
"You're not going to lose me," Leonard replies softly.
"Unless your dumbass gets yourself killed," I say.
"Hey-" Leonard starts to defend himself but is cut off by Rip.
"Isabelle, you need to go suit up now. The Pilgrim is targeting Mr. Palmer as we speak in 2014 and we may need your assistance," Rip explains, walking quickly to the bridge. I could tell on his face that he noticed me and Leonard's hands interlocked but he doesn't say anything about it.
"Wish me luck," I say as I start to walk away to suit up.
"Good luck. But your dumbass probably won't need it," Leonard pulls me back and kisses me softly.

Firestorm, Rip, and I bust in at Palmer Tech just before the Pilgrim was going to finish off Ray. I come in through the windows the right of the Pilgrim and Firestorm breaks through the roof on the right of the Pilgrim.
Firestorm tried to blast the Pilgrim but she shoots out her and freezes Firestorm in time.
"We need to get you to cover," Rip tells 2014 Ray.
"What is that thing? Who is she? Who are they? Who are you?" Ray asks frantically.
The Pilgrim then blasts Firestorm and his fire blast backward.
"No time to explain!" Rip yells and tried to help Ray get to cover.
The Pilgrim fires at them, causing them to fall and for Ray to receive even more body damage.
I jump in between them and Pilgrim before she could get another shot at them. My eyes flash wildly violet but considering what happened to Firestorm, maybe using my powers would be useless. I grab three knives and launch them toward the Pilgrim. While she was distracted with deflecting them, I leap toward her and try to punch her. She deflects my punch and puts away her laser gun, knowing that it can't do anything to me.
Her fist comes flying at me but I catch it in my hand and twist her arm. She flips over me and trips me, causing me to fall on the ground. I roll to the side to avoid her hit and use the air element to push her off of me.

We both get back up and she comes at me with four knives in her hands. The Pilgrim repeatedly tries to stab me but one by one, I knock the knives out of her hands. I put her in a headlock and I whisper viciously in her ear.
"It's over for you," I say, ready to finish the job.
"No," the Pilgrim says calmly. "It's over for you."
She swiftly grabs a fifth knife that was in her back pocket and stabs me in the abdomen. My breath hitches as I lose my grip around her neck and I fall to the ground. She shoves the rhodium knife deeply into my abdomen and smiles.
"And they said you would be the hardest to kill," the Pilgrim laughs.
Her smile falls as she pulls out her laser gun and advances toward Rip and Ray.
"Now to finish the rest of the job," I hear her say.
"No," Ray tried saying, trying to survive.
I shake violently as I reach into my abdomen to try and pull out the knife.
"My suit," I hear 2014 Ray say to Rip.
I touch the knife and scream in pain. I felt it break into a few smaller pieces.
I hear Rip blast the Pilgrim through the glass window/wall with Ray's suit.
"Huh, it works," Ray says quietly before passing out. Rip throws the suit to the side and rushes over to me.
"What happened? What did she stab you with?" Rip asks me frantically as I struggle to breath.
"Knife. It was a rhodium knife," I gasp out. "You can't touch it. I tried... to get it out and it broke."
"Bollucks," Rip said. "Jax, we need to get her to the MedBay immediately."
Jax rushes over and picks me up as carefully as he could, but still hurt. I felt myself drifting away as they rushed to the ship.
*Leonard's POV*
I was whistling boredly on the bridge when Rip and the others rushed in. I see their frantic looks and then I see Isabelle unconscious in Jax's arms, her once white shirt now red with blood.
"What the hell happened?!" I shout, angry.
"Explanation after we get Ms. Light to the MedBay," Rip tells me.
"No, I want an explanation NOW," I yell, getting angrier by the second.
"Mr. Snart, she is dying. We need to get her to the MedBay before the rhodium inside her kills her," Rip shouts back and walks around me.

I follow them to the Medbay and watch Rip hook Isabelle up to Gideon. Ray and Kendra were still in the MedBay and they were watching is surprise and worry.
"Now give me an explanation," I say to Rip, walking to Isabelle's side and grabbing her hand.
"I thought that the Pilgrim wouldn't have targeted Ms. Light because it would be disastrous to remove her from the timeline. I didn't think that she would have targeted the present version of Isabelle. Isabelle was stabbed by a rhodium knife specifically designed to kill Elementals," Rip explains.
"What the hell does the mean?" Sara asks.
"It means that if Elementals became a threat to the timeline, the Time Masters had a weapon that could kill them. It's a knife that shatters every time it is moved. Isabelle tried to remove the knife but accidentally shattered it into a few smaller pieces," Rip explains.
"Wait you knew the Time Masters had a weapon like this?" Sara yells.
"I didn't think it would be relevant. Besides, I thought the last one was destroyed years ago," Rip said.
"Obviously you thought wrong!" I shout at Rip.
"Enough," Kendra shouts. "All of this arguing isn't helping Isabelle. Is their a way to remove the pieces without them shattering even more?"
"Not that I know of. Even as we speak, the pieces are cracking. What makes this knife so lethal to Elementals is that even when they breathe, they are moving the pieces. In an hour the pieces will be no bigger than a grain of sand and would be completely throughout the bloodstream," Rip explains sadly.
"So you're telling me that she going to die and there's nothing we can do about it?" I ask. I look worriedly at Isabelle. Her breathing was shallow and she was completly pale.
She can't be dying. I thought desperately. We've come too far.
"There might be a way," Ray says.
"What? What is it?" I ask desperately, earning myself a few looks from the rest of the team.
"Well, when there were pieces of Savage's knife inside Kendra, I went inside her bloodstream and destroyed the pieces of the knife with my suit. It's worth a shot," Ray said.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Go save the love of my life!"
*Two hours later*
*Isabelle's POV *
I gasp awake, jolting up quickly, only to fall back down, wincing in pain. I look around confused at where I'm at and hear someone shushing me and felt someone holding my hand and stroking my hair. Soon my vision clears out and I see Leonard's relieved face hovering over mine.
"You're okay. You're okay," Leonard repeats over and over again.
"What happened?" I ask, brushing my hair back. "I remember the Pilgrim stabbing me but not much after that."
"Well you passed out and Rip, Jax, and Stien brought you back to the ship. Ray went inside you and destroyed the rhodium pieces stuck inside you and well, you were unconscious for about an hour after that. I was so scared you weren't going to wake up," Leonard explains.
"Aww, you were worried about me?" I ask, smiling.
"He yelled at Rip and called you the love of his life," Sara said, walking in. "How are you feeling Bella?"
I snap my head toward Leonard.
"You called my the love of your life?" I ask, my smile getting even wider.
"I was worried and scared. I don't know what I said," Leonard says bashfully, scratching the back of his head.
"Mhmm," I say laugh slightly, but stop quickly because it hurt.
"So what's happening? What the plan?" I ask, trying to sit up but Leonard wouldn't let me.
"Well we can't track the Pilgrim so we are going to kidnap our baby selves," Sara summarizes.
"Alright then, let's go," I say, trying again to stand up but Leonard and Sara stop me.
"You need to rest. You were hit pretty hard," Sara tells me.
"I'm fine," I insist but neither Leonard nor Sara buys it.
"It's an easy mission. Trust me you're not missing out. Just rest for now. It will help you heal quicker," Sara tells me. "Now, I'm off to go find Kendra. Don't be stupid."
"How can I? You're taking all the stupid with you," I say and Sara smiles.
"Whatever." She laughs and walks away.
As soon as Leonard was sure she was gone, he leans over gives me a soft kiss.
"Now whose dumbass almost got themselves killed?" Leonard playfully asks.
"Oh shut up," I tell him and pull him in for a stronger kiss.
"Sorry for scaring you," I told Leonard when we break apart.
"Try not to do it anytime soon," Leonard tells me.
"I'll do my best."
