《I Can Make You Smile (David x Reader)// CAMP CAMP》25

I crossed my arms on my desk before resting my hands on them. A sigh escaped my lips,
I need to stay away from Daniel
But how the fuck did I dream of him beforehand-?
ThiS mAkEs nO sEnSe
I sighed again before pulling out a notebook and pencil, deciding to doodle and write random things. My mind trailed to Daniel, I sketched a soft outline of the man, realizing after a while that even when I thought of Daniel, I ended up drawing David.
His adorable bright smile, not like Daniel sinister type one.
David's bright eyes at the things that entertain him, unlike Daniel's cold and dull ones.
"(Y/N)?" David asked, standing in the doorway. I jumped, quickly shutting my notebook.
"Yes?" I asked, sliding my drawing away as I stood, pushing in my chair afterward. David wrapped his arms around my lower back, pulling me fully against him as he rested his lips on my shoulder. I chuckled, patting his back, "is something wrong?"
David mumbled against my shoulder.
"I can't hear you."
"I can dip you... I can dance with you... I can flirt with you... I can make you blush-"
"Is that what this is about?" I asked, a small laugh escaping as I leaned back to examine his features. I cupped both of his cheeks, "I love you, not Daniel." I smiled.
David didn't answer, his eyes trailing downward. "I can take a shower..." He muttered. I laughed once more, watching as he continued to sadly look down.
"David, I have no feelings toward Daniel, I was just being polite to the new counselor." I smiled. David refused to look up at my eyes, muttering,
"I can wink too."
I stood on my tip toes, leaning in to give the sad boy a peck on the lips. He softly kissed back, not giving much of an effort. I let my feet go back to flat on the ground, a frown at my attempt to make him feel better before an idea came to my head,
"But you can kiss me, Daniel can't." I grinned. "You can hold me, Daniel can't." I paused, attempting to think of another one, "you dance in the rain with me, Daniel can't... You can take a shower with me, Daniel cAn't. You-"

I was cut off by David roughly pressing his lips on mine, "I better be the only one that can take a shower with you." He muttered, locking our lips once more
Okay, I'm kinda liking this dominate, aggressive, David.
I gently brushed my thumbs over his cheeks as I walked back toward the bed. I then pulled away, roughly placing my hand on his chest and pushing him back so he would sit on the mattress. I then sat on his lap, straddling his hips as I wrapped my arms around his neck.
Our lips continued to battle, each second a war for one of us to gain control. David then ran his hand up my shirt, keeping them to my sides before quickly standing, flipping us over effortlessly so now my back was pressed against the bed, David on top of me.
At my position, I instantly fell into the submissive role, David noticed this and eased down his aggression.
I tangled my hands in his hair, pulling at random times causing him to groan against my lips, the deep occasional groan sent sparks down my spine.
I want this to go further,
But is David okay with that...?
I trailed my hand down to his belt.
Not getting a bad reaction
I gently tugged at the buckle, attempting to undo it.
No reaction
I roughly tugged at his belt, undoing it with a clang. David moved his lips to my neck, biting hard enough that I knew it would leave marks.
Are we... Are we actually doing this?
"A CULTIST!" Max screamed, banging on the door. I and David both jumped, quickly scrambling off the bed. David quickly did his belt before giving himself a facepalm,
"Gosh dang it! I was supposed to do Daniel's employment papers!" David said he turned to me, "you distract me too much."
I gave a childish smile, David leaned in and gently kiss it, ignoring our sin less than a minute ago.
"YOU HIRED A FUCKING CULTIST, YOU IDIOT!" Max screamed. David pulled away with a sigh, turning his head to the door. I stopped him to straighten out his vest and shirt before letting him walk to the door when I then realized his hair was completely ruined.

"Whoa, whoa! What's wrong, kids?" David questioned. I stood beside him, crossing my arms at the three.
"And why aren't you with Daniel?" I asked.
"Oh. You mean the bat-shit crazy cult leader YOU just put in charge of the camp?!" Max yelled, pointing a finger at the both of us. David placed his hands on his hips,
"Again with these cult jokes, Max? Please." David lectured.
"He gave everyone a 'de-toxification diet', then started spouting off Latin from a book with a pentagram!" Niel shouted.
"Maybe we should rid of Daniel-" I started.
"He's bilingual, AND cares about nutrition?" David grinned. Max facepalmed, and if I would let myself be rude then I would've done the same.
"Hey, Davi~d?"
"Yes, Nikki?"
"WAKE UP AND SMELL THE KOOL-AID!" She screamed, smacking David across the cheek.
"If you don't believe him, then come to see for yourself," Max ordered. David rubbed his cheek before walking toward the mess hall. The rest of us followed close behind,
"Are you sure you guys are just getting a bad view of this guy?" I questioned. Max shook his head,
"How blind are you Samuel?! Have you seen this guys outfit?! The way he speaks and the shit he talks about?! Total cult leader Moron!"
We all opened the door to the mess hall, revealing a nice looking room, with a few campers and a banner, even streamers. Daniel stood, turning to us with a grin,
"Well! What a pleasant surprise! Counselors, Kids! Welcome!"
"Welcome, ~!" The campers said in unison. Okay, that's creepy.
"Wowzers Daniel! This all looks incredible!" David smiled, walking into the cabin. "What's it for?"
"Why, it's to celebrate, of course! Your campers have all been SO cooperative, and by the end of the day, J knows everyone here will be cleansed of their hateful ways and ready to ascend to the next level!" Daniel smiled.
"Heeey, where ARE the campers?" Nikki questioned.
"Most are helping prepare for today's festivities, but a few of them are still hangin' around in the purification Sauna!"
"Purification-?"
"You built a SAUNA?!"
"THAT IS NOT THE WORD TO FOCUS ON, DAVID!" Max screamed.
"Dolph, Nerf, why don't you show your friends to the Sauna? So they'll quit worryin', and start hurryin'... Their way to FUN!" Daniel exclaimed. This kids turned to us, wide grins on their cheeks and large pupils. I placed a hand on Niels' shoulder,
"Maybe you kids are right," I mumbled. "I'll go with them," I announced. Daniel grabbed my arm, roughly pulling me from the kids as they began to leave the mess hall.
"I'd rather you stay here with me. Help with the party!" He grinned, pulling me uncomfortably close. I attempted to escape his grasp,
"Actually, I'd like to go with campers." I snapped before pulling my arm away. He grabbed onto it once again,
"Let's go together." He grinned before pulling me out of the mess hall.
//
"Oh by the way." Daniel smiled. "I said I'd keep you." His smile changed into a smirk before he threw me into the sauna. I tumbled over, falling to the ground with a cough from a slight heavy impact. He then shut the door, it locks in the process. I tripped over myself as I ran to the door, instantly beginning to pound on it,
"Help!" I screamed. The door then opened, only for Niel and Nikki to be thrown in as well. I caught them both with one arm, causing me to fall back slightly.
Niel shoved me away, running to the door before slamming his fist against the metal. The voice began to say random commands and meditating on words. I covered my ears, being suffocated by the heavy steam.
... Steam...
No! No! No!
I pulled my knees to my chest and buried my head in my arms.
My mind went blank. As if I sat in an empty space, only able to see through my body's eyes, but not able to control anything that was happening. I was still mentally sitting with my legs pulled to my chest
But physically,
I was walking out of the Sauna with a smile on my features.
"We love you, Daniel." I, Nikki, and Niel grinned in unison.

Scorched - The Winter Winds (LitRPG)
Frank Ebner once wanted to save the world. Let the second one be better than the first. On Earth he was a student of... well it hardly matters anymore. It was dying, and he and the rest of his fellows and friends studying how to stave off the end graduated just in time to be told it was too late. That there was not enough time, funds, will, to stop it anymore. That the governments and the worthies of the world had moved from trying to stop it, to surviving the oncoming apocalypse, while blaming each other. That was a world Frank wanted nothing to do with. One riven by wars for places in the Archologies going up, and between them and the dying world they were leaving behind. So when a strange voice offered him a way out, to a world unmarred by the poison killing his? Frank took it. The voyage changed him, made him fit his new world, one of stats and magic. It came with perks, for in passing through their Heavens, they'd been exposed to Divinity, and taken some of the Celestial within them. Heroes now, but there are heroes, and there are Heroes. The nobility of the Empire care only for those who carry blessed bloodlines, and their time to adapt and train up for the new world is limited. Patrons are scarce among those like Frank, with only the base Hero perks, and magic studies expensive and lengthy. Often requiring heavy Oaths to gain the necessary aid to wield mana as a mage. Frank found another way. It nearly cost him his life. Now on the run and burned by the very magic he sought and craved, he is a pilgrim traveling to the The Eternal Tree, font of Perseverance. Frank hopes Ir-karlak will grant him some way to recover from the fires that scorched him. Without snuffing out the embers those fires lit within, for he has learned to harness them and he would not give up magic for the world. *** In the last 21 days, as I update this, I've managed about 18-19 updates. So Scorched should update most days, muse willing. She's fickle, sometimes. Not every day, but most. If there's an update for the day, it will be at 7PM, GMT+2. *[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Actually completed it. :) *

The 48 Laws of Power in Practice
Discover how power works in the world, through true stories and real-world applications. In the game of power, we all play - as either conscious or unconscious players. So we can't afford not to know the rules. The ** chapters have the most outrageous content. In each chapter, I will be summarizing one of the laws and how it can be applied to current events and pop culture. Some of you have told me the stories are what you enjoy the most. They are real, raw, and anonymous so that others may learn from my mistakes. There will be cringe-worthy stories of self-sabotage, but perhaps also some unlikely triumphs. Some of the details are changed to protect the innocent, (or perhaps guilty). "The 48 Laws of Power" by Robert Greene illustrates truths about power, through philosophy and lessons from three thousand years of history, which still hold true today. There is a lot to learn from each chapter. I encourage you to go on this journey with me by reflecting on how each law might apply to you. Together, may we learn from the past and take control of the future.
