"Stop. Don't move," yelled one of the soldiers as they surrounded Aurora and Alex. They did as they were told but Alex slowly moved towards Aurora, afraid she would get hurt.
They both soon noticed that Angel was hovering over them all and was ready to spit fire at them all. She didn't care who she hurt, she was following orders.
"Get down," yelled Alex. The soldiers did as they were told and Aurora tries to shield as many as them as possible, including Alex. Angel clearly didn't like that and aimed for Aurora.
However, in the process, Alex almost got hurt and his suit ruined. He refused to use his powers with a way to focus it. Aurora could feel the anger building up in her as she tried to trough Angel of her course. Said dark skinned beauty looked at the brunette in anger and charged towards her but before she could get near her, Sean emerged from the water and knocked her off her course.
Sean flew away, taking her with him. He tried to distract her and divert her attention from where Alex and Aurora were. Soon he made his way back to them. They both covered their eyes as Sean screamed and the guards dropped their weapons and moved to protect their ears. Alex grabbed Aurora's hand and made a run for it. They jumped off the ship and Sean grabbed Alex's hand. He flew them towards the beach but Angel managed to spit fire on Sean's wing and he had a hard time holding them up. However, Sean managed to ground them to the beach.
Aurora moved to help Sean while Alex kept an eye out for Angel. When she was close enough he blasted her wings with his plasma and she fell to the ground. They sighed in relief when she went down. Sean even laughed when she did.

Sean, Alex, Aurora, Raven and Hank stood together as Erik emerged from the ship with Shaw's body. "Today our fighting stops," he spoke as he dropped Shaw's body on the beach and slowly descended on the beach and turned his attention towards the ships.
"Take of your blinders, brothers and sister. The real enemy is out there. I feel their guns moving in the water. Their metal targeting us. Americans, Soviets, humans. United in their fear of the unknown. The Neanderthal is running scared , my fellow mutants. Go ahead, Charles, tell me I'm wrong," Erik spoke. Charles did as Erik told him and focused on the ships. As did Aurora. Erik was right. Their weapons were aimed towards the beach. Sensing her fear, Alex grasped her hand tightly.
When Charles confirmed his statement, Moira moved towards the plane. She wanted to send a radio signal towards the ships and wanted them to know the beach was secure. However, it did not work and soon the guns went of and they were aimed towards the beach.
Before they reached the beach, Erik stopped them. However, Aurora knew that he wanted to do more than that. She could feel the rage emitting from Erik and she knew it wouldn't be good for them.
"Erik, you said yourself. We're the better men. This is the time to prove it. There thousands of men on that ship, good, honest men. They're just following orders," Charles tried to convince him.
"I've been at the mercy of men just following orders. Never again," Erik replied as he released the bombs back towards the ships. Charles kept yelling at him to release them before he tackled him.
Aurora moved to stop the bombs from reaching the ship as they exploded in the air. Alex stood right behind her in case something happened. Erik not pleased with what she did, threw her back with Alex, Sean and Hank.

Erik didn't stop the bombs so Moira began shooting at him. Until on fatal bullet hit Charles. Aurora froze. Her brother was hurt and she couldn't have stopped it. Erik moved to his side and prevented anyone else from getting any closer.
"You. You did this," he aimed at Moira. He raised his hand and strangled her with her dog tags.
"Erik, please. She didn't do this. You did," Charles groaned in pain.
Erik looked at him in pain, "Us turning on each other. This is what they wanted. I tried to warn you Charles. I want you by my side. We're brothers you and I. All of us together. Protecting each other. We want the same thing."
"I'm sorry, my friend but we do not," Charles replied.
Erik stood up and moved towards the mutants, "Whose with me?" Raven, Azazel, Angel moved towards him. Aurora wasn't surprised. She and Charles both knew what she wanted. Raven looked at her sister and shoot her a smile which Aurora returned.
As they disappeared, they moved moved towards Charles. Aurora placed a hand on his cheek and he gave her a small smile. They always stuck together no matter what. She wasn't leaving him. They tried moving him but Charles protested.
"I can't feel my legs."
