"Mooorning, sleepyhead! You're finally up, Y/n." I opened my eyes to be greeted by Kokichi, who happened to be hovering over me. "Welcome to um... hell!"

"Hell..?" I ask confused. I was still adjusting to the light as I fully woke up. Kokichi had gotten up and so did I. I noticed we were in Gonta's research lab and Shuichi, Tenko, Kiyo, Tsumugi and Keebo were all there too.

"Thank god you woke up! Apparently we're in Gonta's research lab.." Tenko said, walking to my side immediately

"Why..?" I pause for a second trying to recall how I got here. "Oh...I remember now. Shuichi and I were both attacked my Gonta.."

"The same is true of the rest of us. We were all seized by Gonta.. and brought here." Korekiyo said

"But Shuichi and Y/n are the only ones who got knocked out. I swear when that degenerate comes back ima beat him for knocking out y/n!" Tenko shouted

"Didn't Gonta apologize for that?" Keebo asked

"I don't care!"

"Hey, Tenko— it's okay. Gonta probably didn't mean to" I say

"What is this anyway..? Why did Gonta do this?" Shuichi asked

"It's because of that guy. He was provoked by..that guy." Tsumugi pointed to Kokichi but I already guessed that he was the reason we were here.

"There's no use trying to escape. Gonta will just catch you again. Nishishi, he's so simple-minded. As soon as I told him that everyone who hates bugs was trying to get rid of them, he started crying and said that he would get you guys to love bugs.. or something like that. And that's why we're all here! Welcome to the mandatory insect meet and greet! Oh, Gonta came up with the name, so if you don't like it, voice your complaints to him!"

"Ughh, are you serious!? Kokichi you know I hate bugs!" I complained

"It's great! Only an evil supreme leader like me could do something so... eeeevil!"

"Kokichi..why are you doing this?" Keebo asked

"Oh, I thought we could all throw ourselves a little screening party with all our videos. With all you here, exchanging our motive videos wouldn't be that difficult at all.. and I wanna see your videos too, so I figured we could all binge-watch them together!"

"D-Do you know what will happen if you do that?" Keebo asked nervously

"Umm.. everyone will know their motive and a killing will be more likely to happen? I mean, Y/n watched her own motive video already! So I'm hoping she'll have the urge to kill someone soon" Kokichi laughed and everyone's gaze turned to me. I could feel myself getting nervous from all the stares

"Y/n...watched her own motive video?? But she would never kill—" Tenko tried to defend me but Tsumugi interrupted her

"Well, If you really think about it...it wouldn't be that hard for Y/n to commit a murder. I mean.. her Ultimate Talent is pretty dangerous and risky to begin with—"

"Wait! You... you guys seriously don't think I'd kill someone just because of my talent, right!? I mean, if I'd kill someone using fire, all the clues would immediately point to me, it would be too obvious—"

"You don't necessarily have to use fire just because you're a fire dancer. You could just use regular equipment.. and dancers have good agility, you'd be able to pull it off." Keebo added.

"Calm down, I don't think we should target Y/n like this. Suspecting her to kill someone just because of her talent? That's stupid. I mean, Tenko is literally an Aikido master, same thing can be said for her and her agility, correct? Maybe even Himiko with her 'magic', or even Miu could invent something to kill. But you guys don't suspect them? So let's not target people just because of their talent." Shuichi had spoken up to defend me, and I didn't feel as nervous anymore.

"Who knows.. Nishishi!" Just as Kokichi said that, Gonta walked in with Angie and Himiko.

"Thank you for waiting! Gonta bring Himiko and Angie!"

"Aww, man... and I was about to take a break, too. I just finished all the prepwork... " Angie pouted

"Hey, Gonta... are these the only ones you brought back from the gym?" Kokichi asked

"Oh... Kirumi at gym but she tell Gonta she too busy.."

"And you just let her go? That's not fair." I say

"Atua says Kirumi fulfils any request someone makes of her."

"What request?" Shuichi asked

"I requested that she sew the curtains. I don't think even Gonta can disturb her." Angie replied

"Sorry... Not even Gonta strong enough to overcome Kirumi..."

"Hmmm, well, I guess at least one of you is worthy of being called an Ultimate.. well, nothing we can do about her... are the others still hiding somewhere?" Kokichi asked

"Oh, Gonta see Miu, but...Gonta's face get red-hot. So... Gonta no could bring her..."

"Huh? What do you mean?" I ask

"Um, she use her... what she call it? "Secret woman weapon"? And then— anyway, this enough people, right? Insect meet and greet is off to smashing start!"

"Yeah, sure. This is good enough. We should move on to the main event anyway. Now, Gonta... go ahead and teach them just how wonderful bugs are. I gotta run an errand, but I'll be back. Don't let them leave, okay?" Kokichi said

"Mhm, got it."

"You're leaving!?" I asked Kokichi in panic

"Of course. Someone's gotta break into your rooms to get the goods. Nishishi! Lock picking is a cinch for an evil supreme leader like me."

"It seems I must be the one to take care of this. With my talent, Kokichi, I will stop—"

"Yeah, yeah, I don't have time to listen to some robot. Let's see... it's exactly 9 pm right now. I should be back by nighttime. Well, have fun with the bugs till then!" Kokichi looked to me as he said the last sentence.

"Wait! I'll come with you, don't leave me with the bugs!—" I tried to shout and catch up with Kokichi before he left, but I was too late. And Gonta blocked the way out before I could even leave.

"Oh no... what are we gonna do.." I ask nervously as I look back to the others

"I don't think my Neo-Aikido will be a match for Gonta's superhuman strength.."

"But you said earlier that you'd— actually, never mind.. we still have a chance when Kokichi comes back.." I say

"Then that's when I will take care of this, everyone please just endure it until then." Keebo said

"Okay! Now we start the fun-fun insect meet and greet!" Gonta shouted

'Jeez I guess Kokichi really wasn't lying when he said this was hell earlier.' I thought. Everyone was running around in panic since there was no way of escaping the room. Eventually the nighttime announcement played, but it didn't help save us.

There were bugs on the floor, bugs flying, bugs on the wall, bugs everywhere. It was hell, for everyone. It also didn't help that it was nighttime, and everyone was exhausted.

"Ughh! There are bugs everywhere! How nast—I mean, how nice!" It was Kokichi. He had finally returned

"Oh, you come back, Kokichi! Come, we have fun! We gonna have so much fun!" Gonta shouted in excitement

"Y'know, as much as I'd love to do that.. maybe we should call it a day, hm? The bugs look really tired, and a gentleman knows to do things in moderation, y'know?" Kokichi said

"Oh.. Gonta understand.."

"So you clean up while I take care of business with the others." I noticed that Kokichi was holding a bunch of other Kubs Pads. "You guys okay? You all look like drowned sewer rats."

"Cuz you're late! It's already 11 pm." I complained

"Sorry, I ran into an unexpected snafu. But, look, Kubs Pads! Gotta catch 'em all! I even got the pads belonging to the people who aren't here! Nishishi.. Now everyone can watch their motive video!"

"We said we don't want to." Tsumugi said

"Well, it's late and I'm starting to get sleepy! So let's start already."

"... start what?"

"Oh, don't worry about it, Gonta. Just keep watch so these guys don't—" Kokichi was interrupted by Keebo.

"Huh? What's that sound?" I ask

"One moment please... I'm rewinding the tape right now." Keebo reached behind his ear and spun the mechanical parts there. "Riiight...there!" Suddenly, the conversation from before played again, revealing what Kokichi said about Gonta.

"Kokichi... what you mean? You...not like bugs?"

"...Maaaan, now it's boring."

"You say we get them to understand how amazing bugs are.. was that lie?" Gonta asked

"Haha, I wouldn't lie to you. I loooove bugs. From the bottom of my heart."

"Oh... so it not a lie. Then Gonta happy... let's have fun with bugs all night.. who want to pet more bugs!?" Gonta shouted

"And now, I'm running." I say

"Wait! We need to take back our Kubs Pads first!" Tenko quickly took the Kubs Pads from Kokichi and everyone started running out of the lab.

"Waaait! Y/n, don't leave me here with Gonta's bugs!—" Kokichi yelled

"Bye, Kokichi! Have fun!" I gave him a sarcastic smile before I ran out, and once we were all out we could still hear Kokichi's muffled screaming.

One of the Monokubs brought back the Kubs Pads to the right owners, and we all headed to our dorms for the night. After all...

We do have a magic show tomorrow.
