《Enda (Boyxboy)》Chapter Eleven: Seems Like Fun! I Wanna Try!

My eyes flutter open. Then stretch my arms over my head loosening the muscles in my back and neck. I hear a small groan of pain and look down. My eyes widen.
"What the fuck?!" I shout, stirring the one beside me out of dream world.
"Shut up. Go to sleep." Ujik whines, below us. On the cold cement floor.
"But what the fuck?!" I scream, the one beside me sending me a glare. I touch my stomach and my body. Slowly unzipping my suit and peeking into my underwear. This is not mine!!!
"Canton, be quiet. Please." The one beside me groans in pain. My eye twitches as I stare down at my own face.
"Who are you? Who am I?" I ask, confused. Zipping the grey suit back up. Noticing that my voice is not my voice. My body slowly sits up. A grimace on it's face and it makes little noises like it's in pain. I wonder?
"Canton, calm down. I switched bodies with you because I could feel your pain. Please, don't be upset." Mulnire says, well technically it's my body that's saying it to me. I stare in disbelief.
"But...how?"
"It's the ancient bond between Dragonheart and air clan master. The feelings that the master feels the Dragonheart will feel. If it's pain that's too much the Dragonheart will switch bodies to ensure that the master will not endure the pain in his own body. I hope you don't mind." Mulnire says, shifting my body onto its side. Grimacing. "I'm sorry for hurting you."
"Just because you feel it now." I scowl, crossing my arms. Catching a glimpse of a giant tattoo on my neck. I push myself over and pin up Mulnire's arms above his head. Well, my head. Geez. I glare down at the giant tattoo of a black dragon head with glowing red eyes and wind circling around it. My eyes widen at the tattoo. "What the fuck is this?"

"I claimed you. This is the seal that binds us. I also have one on my neck. I hope you like it." Mulnire whispers, in pain as I let go of his arms.
He hisses in pain and puts his hand on my stomach. Pushing me on my back making me lay down. Then rests his head on my chest. I feel all fuzzy inside. So Mulnire didn't want me to feel the pain of our fight in the cafeteria. He snuggles in closer to me and I sigh. Brushing my hand against his cheek. Then running it through his hair. My hair. Damn, the brown in it has been fading. Why? Why is my hair fading?
'Because you're special.' Mulnire's voice echoes in my head. My eyes dart to him and I again question this bond.
"Can you hear what I'm saying?" I ask.
"No, Mulnire. No one can hear you speaking like a fucking ogre." Ujik snarls, his voice heavy with sleep.
"Sorry, Ujik."
"Shut up." Dukem chimes in.
I do as they ask. They think I'm Mulnire. I lay my head onto the pillow and tighten my arm around Mulnire. He makes a little noise. Then I snuggle into him.
'I love you, Canton. I really do. I love you....so much.' Mulnire's voice echoes, tiredly in my head. Forcing a smile to appear on my face. I know. I know.

Essence Eater (A Super Progression Fantasy)
Gods. Demons. Aliens. Superheroes. Supervillains.Consume them all for power. Eighty years have passed since WW2, when Prime took to the skies and ended the war. No one knows what gave him his power, or what birthed the wave of supers that came after. Some claimed the nuclear bombs dropped in Japan cracked the barrier between Universes, allowing alien energies to enter the dimension. Others believed the wars finally triggered what humanity needed to reach a new stage of evolution. Daniel Das lives with his uncle in post-super London, the League of Hero's primary hub. He's spent all of his twenty-one years pushing himself, training in martial arts and studying supers, hoping he'll awaken his metagene and gain super powers. The cut-off age is close, but he hasn't yet awakened superpowers. Meanwhile, the League is steadily losing parts of the city to the growing villain factions. Daniel's uncle wishes to keep him away from the world of supers, but with the hot zones closing in, that's easier said than done. There are villains selling unregulated superpowers to gangs and dark days are on the horizon. Despite his limitations, there is no stopping Daniel. He is ravenous for power. If needed, he will ally with demons if they give him the power to protect his family and home. -------------------------------- This world building is heavily inspired by Worm and The Boys. It features dark, realistic storylines, corporation-funded heroes, and villains who aren't necessarily bad guys. The protagonist's powerset involves the crowd-favourite consuming enemies for power trope, too. The GameLit/LitRPG elements are super light and takes a while to kick in. The powercreep is slow as well since I don't enjoy overpowered protagonists. Chapters everyday until book 1 is complete. The schedule will change once I reach that point.
