《Enda (Boyxboy)》Chapter Twenty-Four: Are You Feeling Luckie, Punk?

"Canton, wait for me." Daegi yells chasing me down. I ran and didn't stop when they said the secret entrance was near. The book clutched tightly to his chest. I run my hands along a sloped rock.
"We're getting deep into the ground, huh? I wonder if there are a bunch of air clan alive? It would be cool wouldn't it?" I ask away as my hands start to clammer away.
"Yeah totally. I bet Ujik knows your dad, huh?" Daegi asks.
"He won't tell me much. It's like he might be hiding something from me but I don't know what it is." I say, frustrated.
"Well it won't be long until you can meet your real dad. And your mom. I bet your mom is the prettiest air clan lady." Daegi says, dreaming happily. I smile.
"I guess so." I say, wanting the conversation to end.
"I've been feeling off since we got here. Like...I'm so tired. I think the book is glowing brighter than before." Daegi says, I glance away, uninterested, "Whoa, hey. Canton!"
"What?" I hiss, then my eyes grow huge as the black book glows blindingly bright. I wince, clamping my eyes shut.
"What's happening?!" Daegi screams, scared. I hear a thud then a groan of pain. The light dwindled down to nothing and I open my eyes. A guy sits on the ground rubbing the back of his head. Glaring up at Daegi's scared face.
"Dat hurt you know." The guy says, standing up and dusting off his ebony armour that has blood red like veins pumping some liquid substance around in it. Daegi shuffles his feet back slightly.
"S-sorry, but you should have said something. Anything really would have worked."
"Never mind dat now." The guy responds. Turning to look at me. A wicked player grin upon his face. Women would faint.

Tattoos looking like spilt blood going down to his neck from his deep scarlet cat eyes. A helmet with a small dragon inscribed onto the forehead trying to hide a gash on his forehead. Words lay above them. Myrkur. Darkness. This is the King of Darkness. My gosh. His armour hugging that tall, built frame. His slightly tanned skin shining brightly. Is this the guy from my dream? The one who waited his whole life?
"What are you starin' at? Fucking Nancy." The guy growls with his broken English. Voice smooth like honey and slightly deep. Making me shiver. I rub my arms.
"Why didn't you tell me you were gonna..."
"If I had known den fucking yah. I would have dold ya. One second, I was reading a book and den I was getting dhrown on the ground by you." The guy sighs, "We're too close do da underworld. Dats why it happened." Daegi stares and flails his hands, excited. "What now, Daegi?" The guy crosses his arms and shuffles his feet.
"You're so cool looking, Luckie. I knew you would be but who thought it would be this cool?" Daegi says, happily, "I mean Luckie you're a hottie. So ho-hot."
"I'm da King of da underworld. Of course I'm hot. I'm a beast." Luckie gushes, grinning like an idiot. I make a face.
"You were cursed and put into a book because you ticked off your high Mage in the Underworld. And to make it even a sadder realization your name is Luckie." Dukem pitches in. I cover my grin and chuckle. Burn!
"But you're still so cool." Daegi fangirls. I face palm. Oh my god.

"Approaching Lithuannai now, Master." The second informs. I grin.
"Proceed with caution!" I shout to my ever determined soldiers.

"...caution." A voice echoes down the cave walls towards the city. My eyes widen and I feel suddenly terrified. What was that? Caution?
"Where's Mulnire?" I ask, very concerned. Daegi looks at me.
"He left after you fell asleep. Said he was being called somewhere by a mountain Priest that needed help." He answers.
"O-okay."
Whoosh!

Dauntless: Origins
Snow white hair, blue eyes, pale. Devil, monster, mutt, failure. This story follows one Tyr Faeron, crown prince, heir primus and mass murderer. A wrathful, angry, and lost young man that has made it his goal to hunt down the men that killed his mother - and he is on the cusp of finishing the promise he'd made before her cairn stones so many years ago. On the surface he is duplicitous, whimsical, and base of cunning - but within the depths beyond the many masks he wears, something is waiting. Waiting for an end, the end he'd come to long for, whether it be to himself or any possible threats in his vicinity. After that long labor of vengeance is completed... Nobody knows, not even him - an arrogant and otherwise solitary individual with nothing in the way of friends - only the brothers of the blackguard who follow him through life as he pursues this mission. He was born a prince, but he'd be called a disappointment - failing to manifest the great power that he was born to before being summarily discarded by his father, a 250 year old 'primus'. That word again... Men who can shatter mountains and level cities, that's what he was supposed to be. Some call them demi-gods, all Tyr sees is a poor excuse for a parent. Time had made him bitter, cruel, and arguably psychotic - seeing only enemies wherever he looks. They'd come for him, too, one day - to wipe the slate clean and make room for another - and it's his conviction to ensure that he dies while taking as many of those rats with him. This is a story about finding acceptance, growth, and understanding - from the point of view of a cold and brutal individual who wears many masks. Of someone who was born to be the greatest emperor the eastern continent has ever seen - but he failed in that. Strong, yes, but only in the context of a man - Tyr's magic is weak. His convictions are weak. He has been made a beast of instinct by loss and a constant confronting of his own impotency in the face of his father. A mythos that stretches across planes, of magic, a pantheon of cruel gods. Of someone who's dedicated his entire mind to the art of killing a man, and none to living a normal childhood or coming to understand friendship, empathy, or compassion. The first five years of his life a mystery, a hole none have ever been willing to fill, leaving him warped and twisted. His formative years gone and what must've been most of his humanity along with it. Now 17, he is on the cusp of leaving the city he'd never been permitted to leave for what might be the first time in his life. Always searching, though he won't know what for, for some time. An episodic that follows experience and symbolism rather than a never ending series of battles - where the conflict lay in constantly searching for wholeness in lieu of great villains or heroes. This is where it all started, the origin, the tale told a million times - and yet it hadn't been, 'reality' is tricky like that. The greatest lie ever told by the tongue that speaks is that any of this was real at all.

Maybe I'm Just Allergic to Joy
It's easier to dwell on hating Spike in secret. Working in the gift shop with Colette, Edgar downs all the flavors of anger before facing the taste of love. (Edgar x Colette) I don't own Brawlstars or its characters. I also don't own In The End by Linkin Park, Chopin's Revolutionary Etude, and Tartini's Devil's Trill.
