"Father?" I question, looking at a man with crimson eyes and black hair like mine. A woman stands beside him with light pink lips, brown eyes and flowing silver lilac hair. They hold they're hands out to me, "Mother?" I ask again, reaching out to take their hands. Eyes tearing up as they bring me close and hug me. My parents.
"Freedom, I'm so happy I get to see you." Mother says, happily. Giving my hand a kiss. My father grabs my other arm and I watch my hand grows back. Turning it around over and over inspecting. Father chuckles and hugs me again.
"I am so proud of you, Freedom."
"I-I..." I stutter, tears roll down my cheeks. "I've always wanted to hear you say that, Dad. Always."
"I've always been proud of you. Don't ever forget that." Father responds, smiling at me.
"I always thought I would never hear you say it. I thought-"
"Shhh, my son. Don't cry." Mother instructs calmly. Wiping my cheeks dry.
"It isn't your time yet. You have so much to do. So much to see. So much to live for." Father ushers to a small glimmering egg hatching.
I watch as two small children emerge from the egg. Eyes bright white, hair black, and looking like Mulnire and I combined. A little boy and a little girl look up at me. Grabbing one hand each. Smiling up at me, happily, I feel my heart throb. Glancing at my parents.
"But Mulnire... I felt him...go." I manage to say before falling to my knees. The children kiss my cheeks and beg for me to stop crying.
"Freedom, A Dragonheart never dies without his master. He is waiting for you." Mother says, catching a tear that falls from her eyes. Father's eyes brim with tears but he holds them back.

" are waiting for you. My son, Enda is waiting for you." Father informs me, I gulp down the tears and nod, wrapping my arms around my babies.
"And so I shall return." I respond, bowing to them. They smile.
"You are our greatest treasure."

Grellvo hovers over Mulnire's body biting his lip with tears covering his face. Red stands beside him in the same state. Before falling to his knees, his head in his hands.
"Little brother." He whispers to himself. Grellvo holds him.
"Luckie..." I manage before breaking down, "Canton..."
"I know. I'm sorry, Mynx." Luckie responds, holding me to his chest. I cry into his chest, heart broken.

In my hands is Nai and Father's scarf. I clutch it close to my chest. Nai...Nai went with the demons. Turned to ash when I was holding his hand. He was begging me to save him. I couldn't. I couldn't save my brother. I lower my head and let the tears fall. My brother.
"I love you, Nai." I whisper to myself. Holding the scarf to my face. Wiping away the tears.
"I love you too, Dukem." Nai's voice says from behind me. I turn around and see him leaning down to be eye level with me.
"Nn-Nai!!" I exclaim, bear-hugging him. Nai gasps for air.
"Yo, let me breathe!!"

"Mulnire..." I trail off, seeing his body on the ground. Before feathers begin to accumulate in one place. Signifying a place for me and my babies to land. The feathers glow bright. I feel the grass under me and look up. Mynx pries himself away from Luckie and runs to me.
"Canton!" He exclaims, hugging me. I smile.
Then I remove the white cloak revealing Aripo and Olina. Aripo grabs Olina's hand walking to Mulnire's body. They kneel down and wipe his face clean. A small glimmer of light in his eyes flash. Then they spark. Mulnire takes a deep breathe in and out. I walk to him and look over Enda from here. Kneeling beside him and the kids.

Lithu and Ollovis stand together looking at us. Ollovis looking like he's about to cry looking at the kids. Grellvo is crying kissing Mulnire on the forehead over and over and over again. Red crosses his arms and grins at me.
"Canton, you-you-"
"You're the King now, Ollovis." I instruct. Ollovis shakes his head.
"No, that's not-"
"Aripostale wanted to give it to you the years when she was alive. They were planning it go to you." Ujik chirps in, grinning widely, "Ollovis, you were to be King of Enda."
"Canton is obviously so much more." Suzuki states, Ujik smacks his arm, "Sorry."
"So what's next then?" Daegi asks.
"We go home, Daegi." Zi answers.
"But I want to stay he-"
"That's what I meant. We all go home and rest. Eat food and party." Zi states, making Ujik giggle.
"Honestly, Orc?" Ujik teases, shaking his head. I stand up. Mulnire is helped up to his feet. I walk up to Mynx and poke his cheek.
"It's gone. You're perfect now, Mynx." I inform, Mynxie's eyes widen as he touches his face and then smiles wide. Luckie chuckles.
"You were always perfect." Ollovis says to Mynx with a smile.
The Orc's, Air Clan, Earth Clan, Ice Clan, Fire Clan, and the Dragonhearts on the battlefield look up at us. Before kneeling down and bowing. I stare.
"King Ollovis!" Ollovis shudders as they chant it out on the battlefield.
"Ollovis, you are to be King. While we are the protectors of Enda." I state, ushering to the group with a small shrug, smiling.
"Thank you...." Ollovis trails off, Lithu looking at him, happily.
"This is what I wanted everyone to see....to experience...to understand..." I start, stepping forward, speaking to the army, Mulnire, Ujik, Daegi, Dukem, and the rest of the guys stepping forward with me. Before I look up to the sky and I sigh, finally.
"Unity is Enda's greatest treasure."

The Genesis System
Genesis. It is the end of countless stories. The end of thousands of universes, billions of planets, and trillions of lives. But what is taken may also be given, as shown in the story of Cael King. A young man of Earth, knowing only a life of study and work in the relentless and endless pursuit of satisfaction. This is the origin of his story. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Inspired by the system used in The Legend of Randid.ly Ghosthound. The system is an homage but the characters, world, and story are unique. I will post as often as I can and, given that I am not starting work until July, that should be pretty frequently. Travelers [DROPPED]
DROPPED. The story focuses less on dungeon building than on the why of dungeons and how they fit into the universal order. While I am working from a grand plot, the writing is going slice of life style because I need to do that to work out how things progress into that grand plot. The original story seed idea / synopsis is below. The Grand Tapestry protects Rhofhir from Primal Chaos by imposing Order via patterns. However, the patterns grow stiff, stagnant, and so the Tapestry is nearing a time of Unraveling. Evidence of past civilizations wiped out during previous Unravelings foreshadow the apocalyptic catastrophe looming over the world. The mages of the Arcane Asylum reach out across dimensions, searching for some way to prevent, or at least stall, the coming Unraveling. Among the many voices they find is a gifted graduate student researching machine-assisted telepathy -- and his gaming group. Lena never expected that the chance to play DnD with telepathy would result in her becoming an actual Dungeon Master, nor that her friends could become the bosses of her dungeon. This is, in many ways, her dream come true, but there's a catch: What happened to Brad, the creator of that telepathy machine?

The Last Breath
When Yezzu first sent his sons to the realm of men, they brought with them the magic of the gods. They created the three kingdoms we now have today being Dremshen, Ex'ol, and Kantillion. In the five thousand years since the gods left, much has changed. Great wars were fought, Universities were built, civilizations were created. One thing remained after the gods' departure though, their powers. Today, the balance of crafting the three gods brought has shifted. In the beginning, each had the same skill as the other, but the magic that was passed down through the millennia has diminished. The struggle for power that started long ago is coming to a defining moment. Plots of war and assassination are being weaved. Don't despair, for we may yet be saved from the disasters to come. Our hope lies in three young crafters. The first is William Divus, who sets out from his small village into the Dremshen Kingdom to study crafting after his father's passing. His questions about his father and his quest for knowledge drive him. Next comes Ehzahn Obasi, an Ex'olian thief with unparalleled skill. He steals for the thrill, no longer needing the rewards that come with it. He has just achieved his lifelong dream, but he will soon learn how much he underestimated the fallout from his daring theft. The last is Ki Soru, the niece of a powerful duke. She showed promise with crafting at a young age, so she had the best training the Kantillion Kingdom had to offer. Ten years have passed since her lessons began, leaving the king unsatisfied with the results. Her life is upended when her new teacher arrives, revealing a secret kept from her that changes her whole life. These three are our heroes. They were born in separate kingdoms under vastly differing upbringing, but each with their own part to play in the challenges to come. Here begins our tale of mischief and misery with only but a sliver of hope.
