《JAHS/ELEY》Chapter 57: I Dont Have Enough Money For Chicken Nuggets

☹️
🥰
Gazzy and Omar came back from their trip today, and I am excited. They've been out of state for so long now, I kind of forgot they existed. Oops.
Omar had called me and asked for me to come get them from the airport and I agreed, so i made my way to the airport.
When I got there, it was fucking packed. I don't even know if i'll be able to find them, Omar is tall but there are people who are taller. Fucking beanstalks.
I called Omar and he told me that they had just landed and he'll call me back once we are getting off.
I hung up and went into the packed airport and sat down in a chair far from everyone else. It was honestly so annoying when I try to it by myself, and someone else comes to sit near me. I hate that shit so much. Out of all the chairs in this whole fucking airport, you choose to sit near me.
"Oh hey, Jaw!" I hear a familiar voice call to me.
Great. Amazing. Spectacular.
I look over and, long time no see, the infamous Valerie. Oh how I missed this girl.
"Hey. Valerie." I said giving her the most authentic smile I could. "How have..you been?"
Not like I care.
"I've been doing great, Jaw. You know, life's great and everything." She says happily.
Cool. I don't care.
"How about you?" she asks.
"It's fine. Life's a struggle." I said.
"I noticed." She says chuckling.
I was about to respond, when I look down at her left hand and see a diamond ring on her finger.
"You're married?" I said curiously.
"Oh no, I'm engaged." She says holding out her hand for me to see it. Not gonna lie, that ring was absolutely amazing. Wonder who it is.
"Oh, congratulations. Who's the person that wants to spend the rest of their days with you?" I asked.
She chuckled, "Michael."
I tilt my head, "Michael? Like..red dread head? Lizard? 14, Michael?"

"Of course, what other Michael's are there?" she says.
Um. A lot actually.
Just then I see Michael approach us. He kind of hesitated when he sees me but he comes over anyway, giving Valerie a kiss on a cheek.
"Hey..Jah. I-i didn't know you'd be here." Michael says giving me a shirt hug.
"Well i'm here to pick up Omar and Gazzy." I said.
"Oh shit, really? Where'd they go off to?"
"London." I replied. "How was Topanga? I thought you were staying here?"
"Oh, it was great. I just came back to gather the rest of the things Valerie and I have here before we leave."
"Oh you guys are moving there?"
"Yes." Valerie answered.
Where the fuck is Omar and Gazzy.
"So you guys are engaged?" I asked.
"Oh, right! Valerie just can't keep her mouth shut." Michael says chuckling.
We fucking know.
"And we're getting married next week before we leave to go back to Topanga. I'd honestly appreciate it if you and everyone else came." Valerie adds.
That petty little bitch.
"Next week? Damn." I said.
"Right! It's so close." Valerie says excitedly.
Ugh, why the fuck would I want to come to this dusty ass wedding. What kind of bullshit is that? It's going to smell like sweaty balls and black and milds.
"So..will you come?" Michael asks again.
"Ye-actually..um- Yeah. I'll..I'll come, and i'll get everyone else to come."
Why the hell would I say that.
"Great!" Michael exclaims, pulling out a card with all their wedding info on it.
"We gotta go now, but hopefully you make it." Michael says putting his arm around Valerie's shoulder and waving me goodbye. I waved back and looked back at the card.
Wow.
"Jahseh, you good?" Gazzy says, emerging from behind me. I turn around and see Omar and Gazzy both.
"Where the fuck have y'all been?"
"We seen the whole interaction with you, Michael and Valerie and wanted to eavesdrop a little. What did they say?" Omar says.

"Well.." I said, handing Gazzy the card, Omar going over Gazzy's head to read the card.
"They're getting married!?" Gazzy yells. "After what that bitch did to Stoke, and what Michael did to you she's going to invite you guys?"
"I know. But she said she wants you guys and everyone else to come too."
"Who does this hoe think she is?" Omar mumbles while examining the card, "I don't know if Stoke will be happy about this. This is actually the worst type of petty you can be."
And plus Stokeley is already going through shit with his parents and he his parents come over for dinner tonigh- STOKELEY'S PARENTS ARE COMING OVER FOR DINNER TONIGHT. I fucking forgot about that. I swear my life is crisis after crisis.
I shook my head, and took the card form Omar. Folding it and putting it in my pocket. "Let's just go." I said.
So Jahseh had told me to talk to the Abstract girl. Or what's her name? Aileen? Something like that, I forgot.
He gave her my number and apparently she's going to call me so we can discuss what we're going to go say for tonight when my parents come over, just inviting themselves over for dinner and shit to see Jahsayla aka Jah's friend before he left to go get Omar and Gazzy. He said he'd come back to my place when he's dropped them home.
My phone rings and it must be the girl. I answer.
"Hello?"
"Hey!" she says in a quirky voice. "You must be Stokeley right? Jah's boy."
"Yes, I am."
"Oh okay, Hi. I'm Ayleks." she says, introducing herself.
Ayleks!? That's such a weird name. I have no place to judge though, the fuck is a Stokeley.
"You're going through a crisis right now aren't you?" She asks.
"Yeah..I told my parents that I found a girl and shit like that, when really, I'm dating Jahseh..well we're not really dating, but i'm with him."
"I see. So you said his name was Jahsayla?"
"Yes."
She giggles, "Okay, so i'm supposed to be Jahsayla? What are we going to say when they ask how long we've been together?"
"We can say like.. a year."
"No, that's too long. They're going to start asking when we'll be married." she says.
"They're already asking when I'll have kids with said, Jahsayla, i'm sure they'll want us to be married beforehand."
she sighs, "You're right...well, how have you and Jahseh been together?"
"A few months."
"Okay, well then we've been together for a few months then. What about how we met and all that?"
"I don't know."
"You need to know, Stokeley, or else this plan will go south. What about we say we met..at a park." she suggests.
"Who the fuck goes to a park in Florida? My goodness." I said.
"Hey! I do. A lot of niggas do." She whines.
"Whatever, fine. Park it is." I said chuckling.
"So you met Jahseh at a detention center as teens?"
"Yeah. I saw him there a lot, so I just became friends with him. I was there for running away a lot and stealing, and he was in there for god knows what."
"Wait, you don't know?" I asked.
"No. He wouldn't tell me. It was lowkey scary." She says.
I hear the door open and close, I turn to see Jahseh.
"Hey Jah." I said to Jahseh. He gave me mad look and i was confused.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
He just pulled out a piece of folded paper and tossed it to me. "Read it." Jahseh says.
I slowly opened it, revealing that it's a wedding invitation. I shrugged, "It's just a wedding invitation."
"Keep reading." Jahseh insisted.
I read more and I realize what he'd wanted me to see:
