You woke up to the sounds of Peter talking in his sleep. You rub your head sitting up right.
"Y/n?" He said with his eyes still closed.
"Yeah?" You were a bit confused.
"Y/n I'm sorry. I didn't want you to find out this way."
He must still be asleep. You were a little weirded out that he was dreaming about you.
"Peter? It's a dream. Wake up." You shake him free of the dream.
"Wha- Oh Y/n." He rubs his eyes sitting in the same position as you.
"What? Was I talking in my sleep again?" He looks down at you making his dark brown eyes soften.
"Yeah."
You wanted to ask him what he was dreaming about but you didn't want to push the borderline.
"What did I say?" He stands up revealing his hand to help you up. You agreed by taking his soft but rough hands pulling yourself up.
"Nothing important really." You lied. He just 'oh-ed' and left you there standing.
"Peter?!"
It's been minutes but he hasn't come back, and you got worried. You heard some branches breaking.
"Hey. Sorry you had to wait here for a long time." You yelped loudly turning around to see him standing there rubbing the back of his neck with his hand.
"Sorry for that too princesa" He laughed lightly.
"What did you say?"
You commented on him calling you princess in Spanish.
"Nothing." He defeated. "What eva." You laughed but frowned after.
"What's wrong?" He travels to you holding your shoulders tightly making eye contact.
"Are we gonna die here?" Your eyes started to water.
You thought about what happened yesterday. You were the type of person who needed time to process anything that happened.
"What? No! The police are coming." He holds your cheeks, holding back tears.
You nodded pulling out his touch. When he touches you, you get tingles, but the good type making you scared.
"Let's walk in the woods to see if there is a way out of here." You quietly nodded walking behind him.

After an hour, walking in the woods probably losing 10 pounds. You guys stopped a couple times to catch your breath and then kept walking.
All you would see was trees. More trees, more trees. Sometimes you would see bunnies but just more trees. It was kinda making you sick.
"Wait!" You announced, ducking your head down. Keeping your hands on your knees.
"I think I'm getting sick." Peter rubs you back softly.
"It's okay. Were gonna get out." A thought crossed your mind, "And after? When we get out of here are we still going to continue the game?"
You looked up to see him with darker eyes then normal. It was kinda scaring you.
"Of course! I brought you all this way? I don't know how to go back?"
He kept a straight face.
"I don't know! You kidnapped me, then we got kidnapped by one of your dad's enemies!"
The face he was giving you was anger, not rage.
"Well! Did you think I knew we were gonna get kidnapped?!" He shouted rising his arms in the air.
"You still follow as plan or you're never gonna see you father, or your best friend Maggie, your boy best friend Harry, or Steven Rogers. Not even the agent Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff."
Peter grabbed your arm pulling you making you walk fast.
"Peter! Let go! You're hurting me!" You punched his arm as hard as you could.
He let go of you, fear of what he was going to do next. Peter puts his thumb and index finger on the top of his nose.
He sighs loudly,
"Y/n for like the millionth time today, I'm sorry." Peter looks at your small figure sending apology stares.
"I'm just upset that I'm here where I told May I would met her at 2:00."
Peter stares at his watch like it would magically repair.
"Why don't you take off your watch?" You watch how his face turns upset.
"Because this was Uncle Ben's. It doesn't matter anymore."
Peter holds your wrist not as hard.

It was quiet for minutes not understanding how it was turning night time already.
"Peter?" He hums in reply.
"I'm hungry. I haven't ate all day."
He didn't care just continued to walk thinking deeply. "Peter!" You screamed. Peter turned around with a look on his face.
"What, Little Stark?!" He responded. "I'm hungry!" You ripped out his grip hardly.
"Well, what do you want me to do about it?!" He grabs you but you slapped him on the face.
"For about a minute. One minute..." You showed him your index finger meaning the number 1.
"I actually thought you were a good person that just puts a shield but I guess I was wrong! You never cared about anyone but yourself! Maybe you care about aunt May but that's it! Just-just..."
Peter rolled his eyes and yelled back, "Oh, really! All you care about is yourself! Did you even ask me if I was hungry?! Hmmm? I don't think so." He walks not even caring if you were following.
He turns around with more anger then before, "Wait? Did you say you thought I was a nice person?" Peter smirks while laughing.
"You're incredibly stupid you know that?! I was being cuddly to you so it would be easy for you to comply!"
That hurt your feelings, you never were good when people screamed at you. You feel tears escape your eyes.
"Oh, did I hurt little Stark's feelings?" He laughs, some where under the anger and sadness you were feeling was that he was lying.
You felt like inside somewhere he was a good person at heart.
"Whatever Peter! I know somewhere very very deep inside you you are actually a good person!" You yelled back at him.
"If you really think that then..."
Peter holds you by your waist making sure you couldn't escape. You made sure you didn't look in his eyes as he said,
"You're more stupid than I thought." His right hand holds your chin forcing you to look at him.
"Maybe... maybe I'm stupid. But I'm really good at reading people, Peter."
You place your hand on his chest feeling his heart race faster.
"Somewhere down that deep exterior... you actually care Peter. Your just scared to show it. You scared that if you show it you could get hurt."
So it's easy putting on an act telling people you don't care while deep inside you're hurting."
You confessed to him sighing as you release your inner thoughts.
"You know nothing about me, darling." That word rolled of his tongue making you blush lightly.
As you ignore the feeling of your cheeks heat up, you said,
"Maybe I don't know you personally. But you told me about your father and mother. And I heard stories about how The Amazing Spider-Man from The Huntsman Spiders saved some of the members of The Avengers."
You got Peter good. He was speechless, not knowing what to say just staring into your y/e/c eyes.
He finally spoke,
"You know what Y/n? Maybe your right. But I will never show you kindness or any type of care ever again."
He stated letting go turning around not making eye contact with you.
"At lease I know you still have some in there. It lets me know you are not like your father."
You pushed past him. He grabs your upper arm turning around to look at his eyes again.
"Piece of advice, I hope one day when you met your soulmate. You don't act like you do now. It's very unattractive." He sightly smirks but trying to cover it up.
"Well, I don't care. As long as I know you're not my soulmate Peter. So why should I care about what you say?"
You scowl ripping from his grip again, finding a place to sleep and find some food.
Peter stands behind you smirking at you, that he got you. He loves when you get annoyed with his personality.
Little did they know they were perfect for each other.

Parental Controls
Reeve Williams always felt more at home in vivid virtual reality than in drab real reality, partly as an escape from the very real embarrassment of her technically inept parents, Walter and Wanda. When Reeve’s parents give her a new total-immersion virtual reality system for her birthday, Reeve reluctantly agrees to show them what it’s like…just for a few minutes. But a mistake only her technophobe father would make leaves Reeve facing the prospect of spending months in the greatly accelerated, fantastically complex, brutally unforgiving game world. With her parents. Posts will be every M/W/F. If I ever decide to try to turn Parental Controls into an ebook, I won't do so in such a way that I'd need to take down what I've posted to Royal Road. Thanks for reading!

In the world of Masks and Capes
The DC universe has been trampled time and time again. Although certainties have been fixed, there would be one to settle the raging sea of chaos and bring balance. To introduce the raging drunken idiot of the former clan, into the world of Heroes and Villains. (A bit of a mix over along with some things, but mostly on DC) (Please note, MC is intentionally written as an idiot. Dumb decisions will be exaggerated...)
