The practice match with Aoba Johsai came and the team was restless.
"A match with one of the top 4!" They all thought.
M/n was invited and he happily took the offer.
He was seated beside Kageyama as he tried to strike up a conversation.
"Uhh...so...Do you like it at Karasuno so far?"
"Mhm," Kageyama responded.
M/n winced at his dry reply. Thinking Kageyama didn't like him.
In reality, Kageyama was just trying to keep himself in check for the match.
And the fact that M/n was sitting right beside him.
Kageyama was about to say something when he heard someone say "STOP THE BUS!"
Hinata puked on Tanaka.
"Kageyama is everything okay at the back?"
"Yep everything's alright, L/n!!" he said quickly.
__________
They arrived at Seijoh and Tanaka got himself cleaned up as Hinata muttered various apologies.
"Hey L/n, do you need help getting off?" Kageyama asked.
"Oh, yea, thank you Kageyama," he said as he took his hand.
They both got off the bus as Hinata started feeling sick again. Kageyama threatened him to calm down, which resulted him in getting more nervous.
"Hey Hinata, if it makes you feel better, I got sick before my first match too," M/n said. "Just remember, the Little Giant doesn't play alone on the court."
"So cool L/n!" they all thought.
Hinata calmed down a bit, but still went to look for the bathroom.
"How did you do that-" Kageyama questioned.
"Be a bit more gentle with him for today. It is his first match in highschool, with a top 4 team," he answered. "Everyone gets nervous sometimes."
If it was possible,
Kageyama gained even more respect for his upperclassman.
__________
M/n was walking with Tanaka, Tsukishima, Yamaguchi and Kageyama until he heard two Seijoh kids talk about Karasuno.

"Their manager is super hot and I think they have a delinquent on their team too." One of them said.
The five of them appeared around the corner to face them.
"Don't mock my team," Tanaka said intimidatingly. "We'll have your heads."
"Oh look Tanaka," Tsukishima said. "You've made the poor elites scared."
"Be careful or we'll peck your eyes out," M/n said irritated.
Tanaka was about to continue till Daichi showed up.
"Oi! I can't leave you guys out of my sight for a second!" Daichi yelled. "Apologise! And don't give me that face Tanaka!"
They began walking away when Kageyama got stopped by the two Seijoh players.
"So how's it been your majesty, I bet you've already whipped your new loyal subjects into shape," the one with the onion head said. "And it looks like you've found yourself a queen too." referring M/n and Kags holding hands.
Kageyama blushed at this.
"L/n and I aren't together!" Kageyama yelled flustered.
"And I'm a boy!" M/n yelled back annoyed.
