《•A Beautiful Sight• ~Kageyama x Male! Reader~》Chapter 7

I went to follow L/n, realizing he might need some help navigating around school.
Yea, that's why....No other reason...
I was walking just before a girl stopped me. I recognised her, passing each other in the halls once in a while. She was a first year as well.
"Uhm, Kageyama. I have a favour," she asked.
"What.." I said.
"Uh...You're in the volleyball club right? Do you mind giving this to L/n?" she said. "I would give it to him myself but I'm too scared to."
I looked at whatever she was handing me...
...It was a love letter.
Again, the same feeling I had when Nishinoya and L/n were interacting came back. "What the hell."
I resisted the urge to slap myself again. I took the letter, and through gritted teeth I said,
"Sure.."
"Yay! Thank you so much Kageyama!" She said happily before skipping away.
__________
I caught up to L/n and called his name.
"L/n! Wait up!"
He stopped walking and started to slowly turn around...
"L/n, I have something for you...."
I trailed off as he fully turned around and saw...
...A bruise on his cheek...
"The hell?!?!"
Who would do that to L/n??! He definitely did not have that bruise a while ago.
What happened..?
I was snapped out of my thoughts when he started speaking.
"Kageyama? What do you have for me?" he smiled warmly.
"Oh, Uh right..."
I gave him the letter.
"Oh? Is this a love letter from my precious underclassman?" he smirked teasingly.
I burst a bright shade of red.
"What?! N-No! I don't swing that way!!" I said quickly. "It's from a girl in my year!"
He gave a cheery laugh. "Aw, I was really hoping you were going to confess to me," he said as he pretended to be hurt while pouting slightly.

"You don't swing that way, Kageyama"
"You don't swing that way, Kageyama"
"You don't-"
"Damn it.."
His laughing almost made me forget about his bruise.
I calmed down and asked where he got it from.
"H-Hey, where did you get that bruise?" I asked.
L/n visibly stiffened.
"Oh, I have a bruise? I must have gotten is when I ran into a door." He smiled sheepishly.
"Oh, it was nothing.."
"Oh, yeah that makes sense..." I said skeptically.
"What? Because I'm blind?" He said jokingly.
I tilted my head.
"You're not blind L/n, you're visually impaired. But you can only see faint shadows and outlines," I answered.
L/n's cheeks turned slightly pink. Which in turn turned mine slightly pink too.
"U-Uh, well I have to go now! See you at practice L/n!" I said quickly then left.
"I think I'm sick or something."

Dungeons Are Bad Business
Vee Vales has been kicked out of his home and directed to make his own way in the world. Along with his friend Alforde Armorsoul, Vee travels to the city of Oar's Crest. Once a prosperous and well-to-do city, Oar's Crest has fallen into depression and disrepair. After finding a strange stone that takes up residence in a tattered top hat and introduces itself as Reginald, Vee and Alforde decide to open a dungeon in Oar's Crest to revitalize the city and, more importantly, make some fleurs. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Author's Note: Dungeons are Bad Business (DABB) is a slow burn slice-of-life dungeon core litRPG citybuilder that's focused on the day to day experience of running a dungeon. There will be some action, but it won't be the focus of the story and Vee and his friends will usually overcome their problems with their minds and their pocketbooks instead of their weapons. Since I'm participating in the writeathon, I will probably be uploading chapters almost daily for the duration of the event. Thanks for reading!
