"Alright I'm heading off now!" M/n yelled from the front door.
Today was the start of the tournament, and the second year setter was going to be late for the bus.
"M/n, wait!" His sister yelled, running up to him with something in her hands. "I made this yesterday with my friends," she said, holding out a flower crown made out of daisies. "For good luck, even though you won't need it."
The (h/c) smiled and bent down so that his sister could place the crown on his head.
"Like a king!" S/n giggled.
"Alright Teacup, M/n's going to be late if we keep him here any longer," D/n walked down the stairs. "May the force be with you."
"Pfft alright, thank you," he chuckled. "Are you sure you're not going able to make it to our matches?"
"Sorry, I have tons of work to get done...And I can't leave your sister by herself.." His father explained.
"That's alright..." M/n understood. "See you later!"
"Good luck M/n!" His family chorused.
The boy waved and started walking to the school.
__________
The team arrived and was currently waiting for the first games to finish.
The second year setter could hear whispers about his team.
"There's also Karasuno's number 10..." Someone said, referring to Hinata.
He turned around for the players to see his face...And he looked like he was about to throw up...
"Hinata!? You look sick!" M/n exclaimed worriedly, coming into the gossiping players' view.
"But who's that?"
"I dunno, probably a spare player, he doesn't look like much."
"Why's he wearing a flower crown..?"
Kageyama glared at them, while M/n ignored their comments.
"Hinata, are you okay?" Yachi asked.

"I'm fine..I already threw up on the way..." He responded.
"Of course you'd feel sick after eating all those pork bowls for breakfast," Tsukishima teased.
"It's normal to eat pork cutlets on game days!"
"And by 'normal,' you mean..?"
"Dumbass! Hinata you dumbass!" Kageyama scolded.
M/n sweatdropped at their behaviour. "What is that on your head..?" Tsukishima asked.
"Oh it's a flower crown. My sister made for me."
The blonde middle blocker nodded.
"L/n, how come you aren't nervous?" Hinata asked. "Isn't this your first official game in a while?"
"Hm..Well, I guess I'm just a little too excited to be nervous?" He shrugged. "I don't know- ack!"
The boy was cut off when someone put their weight on him.
"M-My nerves are getting to me as well..." Asahi paled.
"Azumane, please don't puke on me.."
__________
Karasuno's first match was Ohgi Minami. And well...They honestly weren't that much of a challenge..They fought their best, though.
The team was now watching the match that decided who our next opponent was.
M/n peeked through the doors to see a 2-meter player. "What in the world.."
He turned to Tsukishima and nudged his elbow. "He looks taller than you, Tsu."
"Wow...Well done, you can use your eyes. And please, don't call me that."
The (e/c) male grew a tick mark.
"Wouldn't want King to get jealous now, would we?" The middle blocker teased.
Staring at him shocked, with his face turning red, he whispered. "How did you know? You're okay with that..?"
The blonde raised his eyebrows. "Honestly, it wasn't that hard to figure out. As long as you don't go lovey dovey around me, I'm good."
M/n smiled.

"Thanks Tsukishima."
Meanwhile, Kageyama watched their interaction, raising his eyebrows in curiosity.
"Hey, Tobio. How you doing?" M/n walked up to him, after finishing his talk with Tsukishima. "Ooh, can I have some of your banana."
Misunderstanding him, Kageyama began to blush.
"W-What?! Here?! I thought you said we should wait until we were older?!"
"What..? I can't have a banana until I'm older..?" The second year deadpanned..Before giving a sly smile, realizing what Kageyama thought he meant. "Ohh. You thought I meant that banana. I mean...Only if you want to~"
Kageyama blew a fuse.
__________
They won their next match against Kakugawa. The team was now heading out.
M/n stayed behind to help Kiyoko, incase anyone forgot anything.
"Something wrong Hinata?" Yachi asked.
"We're finally on the same level as the Great King and Ushiwaka..." He responded. "Ah! I forgot my lunchbox!"
The carrot top ran back inside to see Karasuno's manager getting hit on, with their second year setter trying to get the guys to back off.
"Hey man, back off my girlfriend," M/n said.
"Girlfriend? I wouldn't mind having the two of you~"
"Eek! Now they're both getting hit on!" Hinata thought. "When did Kiyoko and L/n start dating? Better not tell Tanaka or Noya.."
Suddenly, Hinata ran in front of them and started pushing the two away.
"Sorry! That's my lunch box!" He hurried. "Let's go! Hurry!"
Unfortunately, he got tossed aside. Literally. Still, Hinata didn't give up.
"Excuse me!" He yelled, while jumping in front of the two. "Sh-Shimizu is our precious manager! And L/n is our precious teammate, so uh..!"
"Isn't Kiyoko a bit late..?" Tanaka wondered.
Eventually some players from the Johzenji team walked out, sizing up the players from Karasuno.
"Hey! Sorry we're late," Hinata came running out, with M/n and Kiyoko trailing behind.
"Kiyoko, thank goodness your safe!"
"Did you find anything left behind?"
"A cute lunch box wrap-" Kiyoko and M/n laughed.
"You don't have to tell them!"
__________
"You guys did great today."
Kageyama and M/n were walking home again, hand in hand.
"I told Yachi and Tsukishima," The (e/c) boy announced.
"What?!" Kageyama exclaimed. "I get Yachi, but why the french fry?"
"Uh, well, I didn't actually tell him..He already knew. I only told Yachi about me, I didn't know if you wanted anyone else to know," The boy explained.
"Were they..Okay with it?"
"Yes, they were! Both of them don't mind," he smiled.
The first year setter sighed, relieved, and pulled the second year into a hug. The other boy accepted it and smiled even more.
"Sorry I scared you, I'll let you know if I'm telling someone next time," M/n apologized and gave the boy a sweet kiss on the lips.
Kageyama blushed and looked away.
"Idiot...Come on, let's go home."

From the Final World
I have lived a long, long time. Longer than the universe knows; longer than any star has seen or traveling light records. My memories; that is all that is left that knows that length, and that which was seen within it. Then again, that is all that ever did. When I am gone, it will be forgotten, a truth and a history lost forever no matter who or what tries to find it. I think that is why I write this now. A record, or a lament, of the most significant being of all time. It is a prideful exaltation of endless triumph, or the dread condemnation of infinite evil. I don’t know which; I shall leave it for others to judge. I could explain further, of course. I could list the sins that have been committed, the deeds that have been done. Yet for now, I believe this is enough. Her story will speak for itself. About the good, and evil, in the heart of a single girl burdened with more than her fair share. And how she reacted to it. So, I will tell her story. Of gods and devils, mortals and monsters, of legends long forgotten and civilizations long turned to dust. And in the end, I hope she knows herself, whether it is salvation, or destruction, she should receive.
