McCree opened the door to his cabin and invited Hanzo inside. He stepped in and looked around the room. Several trinkets were on the shelves. Hanzo strutted into the kitchen and looked out the window over the sink. He looked at the river and saw McCree's small fishing boat at the doc. He watched the sun set behind the meadow of trees and pointed towards the boat.
"Is that your boat?"
"Yeah, I prefer freshwater fishing."
"That is fresh water? Even this close to the shore?"
"Yep, much more relaxing too."
Hanzo sighed and stared solemnly at Jesse.
"C'mon, I'll let you take the bed."
Later into the night McCree woke from the couch and looked beyond his porch to see Hanzo sitting in the water with a blanket around him. The light of the moon shined down on him. The last night was a full moon. McCree walked outside and heard Hanzo sobbing as his shaky body sat in the water. Hanzo turned to see Jesse. He was whimpering as tears streamed down his tired eyes.
"Leave me alone?"
"Hanz, you'll freeze out here. What are ya doin'?"
Hanzo looked at him sternly.
"Don't call me that."
Hanzo continued sobbing into his arms. McCree sighed sitting down next to Hanzo.
"My god, you're such a baby."
"I miss sleeping in the water on my own coral bed. Being dry all the time feels strange."
McCree sat up and just listened to him.
"How do you humans swim with these?" Hanzo said spreading his legs out.
"I can teach you how to swim in the morning, but you need to get some rest. Besides, the water is freezin' right now. Will you come inside and back to bed?
Hanzo stared solemnly at the reflection of the bright moon rippling in the water. He stared at McCree like he'd missed something.

"Alright."
"Good. I'll help you up."
"You can easily get cold in this body."
"We're not all meant to swim, Hanzo."
It was hard for Hanzo to sleep that night. He was not used to such a strange bed. McCree however knew how to sleep on a couch. He had spent many times falling asleep to the TV. He woke up before Hanzo that morning and put on a bathing suit. He went into the kitchen and started cooking breakfast. Hanzo woke with a terrible headache and his stomach grumbled. He walked out and into the kitchen.
"Mornin'."
Hanzo gasped when he saw what McCree was wearing. It was a bright red bathing suit that made his ass that much bigger. Hanzo looked higher admiring McCree's fixed abs. He blushed hard and tried to speak. He sniffed the air in the room and gave off a mal expression.
"What is that smell?"
"Eggs and bacon."
"Do you have any fish?"
McCree turned and stared at Hanzo awkwardly.
"Or shrimp? I'll eat shrimp."
McCree paused.
"I have a few shrimp traps by the coast. I'll go check to see if there's any."
"Can I come?"
"Sure."
They began walking to the coast when Hanzo finally got the courage to ask McCree about his outfit.
"Jesse? Might I ask what you are wearing?"
McCree looked down at his pants then back at Hanzo.
"Oh, it's my bathing suit."
"Do you humans need an outfit to bathe in as well?"
McCree chuckled.
"Nah, not that kinda bathing. It's for going swimming in."
"But won't you get it wet?"
"It's supposed to get wet Hanzo. I took one outa the closet for you to wear. After breakfast I'm gonna teach you how to swim with legs."

They got to the coast. McCree dug his hands into the water and pulled out a hand made shrimp trap. There were several shrim trapped inside. He opened it up and emptied the shrimp into a bucket. McCree set the trap back into the water and handed the bucket of shrimp to Hanzo. Hanzo stared into the bucket. He licked his lips a bit.
"That's a good catch, now let's take it back and..."
Hanzo imediateley dug his hand into the bucket taking one of the shrimp and shoving it into his mouth. He chewed loudly. McCree stared in panick.
"What the hell Hanzo?! You gotta cook em first!!!"
Hanzo stared curiously and took another shrimp out. He bit into it hard and chewed.
"Cook it? How do you do that? This is how I normally eat them. Delicious!"
Hanzo kept feasting on the live shrimp in the bucket while McCree stared in disbelief. Hanzo looked at him sternly with his mouth full.
"I told you it is rude to stare."
McCree sighed and started walking back to the cabin. Hanzo followed behind still eating the shrimp from the bucket. McCree finished eating his own breakfast and gave Hanzo the bathing suit. Hanzo came out looking uncomfortable. He fidgeted with his bathing suit.
"This thing itches, Jesse. Wouldn't it just be easier if I took it off?"
McCree gasped and blushed hard.
"No! Leave it on!"
"But.."
"Trust me Hanzo, you're gonna wanna leave it on."
They walked out to the river and stood at the end of the dock.
"Now, y'know how you have to move your legs foreward and backward in opposite directions?"
"Yes?"
"Now when you're in the water you're gonna wanna do that too. Watch."
McCree dove into the water splashing Hanzo a bit. He came back up and started kicking in a circle.
"Jump in. It's shallow here."
Hanzo took a nervous jump splashing into the water. He came to the surface thrashing violently and calling for help. McCree tried to calm him down.
"Hanzo calm down now. Kick your legs."
Hanzo listened and his head floated above the water. He gasped a bit and stared at McCree who smiled at him.
"There ya go."
Hanzo smiled back.
"Now let's do some strokes."
McCree stroked to the other side of the river bed and motioned for Hanzo to come over. He followed Jesse's movments and swam to him. McCree started swimming to the doc. Hanzo followed.
"Good. Now we should...gah!"
Hanzo chuckled mockingly as he splashed McCree in the face. McCree gasped staring at him for a challenge.
"Oh, you're dead now!" McCree said laughing.
He splashed water back at Hanzo and tried to swim away, but Hanzo splashed him back. McCree teied to splash again, but Hanzo came closer and tackled him under the water. The rolled for a bit before Jesse got out of his grip and splashed Hanzo again. They laughed with eanchother as they splashed back and forth. Hanzo got closer to try and tackle McCree again, but stopped to observe his gaze. His hands sat against Jesse's as the floated in the water. They both stopped laughing to observe the details on eachothers faces. They both loooked intimently. McCree's hand went to the side of Hanzo's head. Hanzo kept staring. They both felt one another leaning in slowly. Hanzo gasped a bit when he felt his lips collide with Jesse's, but he closed his eyes and gently sucked in his upper lip. McCree's hand caressed Hanzo's hair. Hanzo broke the kiss feeling unsure about himself. He put his hand to McCree's head and looked down biting his lip a bit.
"Hanzo?"
Hanzo nervously pushed away from McCree and swam back towards the doc.
