"Okay so you are going to do a project" our chemistry teacher said, the whole class loves chemistry projects because it's fun to play and experiment, so we don't mind the project.

"And I'll pick the partners" that's when the class groaned.

"Lets start Rebecca and Hayley" i turned to Annie and smiled.

"Hopefully I will partner up with you"she just smirked and looked at the teacher.

" Why are smirking? What did you do? "

" I talked with the teacher and since I'm her favorite student she agreed" she winked at me.

"Agreed? What did you ask for?"

"I asked for us girls to partner up with boys that I know are nice and good"

"this is too much"

"No it's not shit up Mia it's prefect" Emma turned and glared at me and smiled at Annie.

"Do you know who I'm partnered up with?" Emma asked Annie.

" Your crush from grade 10 "this made Emma's eyes widen and gasp.

"Emma and Michael"

"Mia and Alex"

"Alex? Alexander? Annie how did you know about him" Annie rolled her eyes and I whispered to her.

"Girl you are so naive thinking we don't know about your crush on him, you had a crush on him from what like grade 9?"

"Grade 10"Emma said.

"Annie and William" that made Annie gasp.

"How?" she mumbled.

"What?" Cara asked her who is sitting next to Emma in front of us.

"That's my crush too but I didn't tell Mr. Russo that"

"She probably knows about your crush I mean you basically stare at him whenever you get the chance" Cara laughed silently at her.

"No I do not"

"You do" Emma and I said.

"Cara and Benjamin" Cara blushed as Ben looked at her and smiled.

"ace and Oliver"

"Oh my God" ace said from behind me, I looked at him, he is blushing and mouth wide open.

"That's your crush?" Emma asked as ace nodded slowly still in shock.

"I knew it" Annie whispered to her self.

"Now that's all done the project is in 2 weeks you can hand it over on Monday" the teacher handed papers to the class and made us sit next to our partners.

"Hey, Mia" Alex said as he sat down next to me.

"Hi Alex" I smiled as I checked the paper.

"So when will we start with this project I'm thinking about doing a big one, so we can get extra points"

"Me too. The more hard work the more points she will add for us"

"Want to meet in the library tomorrow?" Alex asked as the bell rang.

"Sure" I closed my bag and waited for the girls to close their bags.

"So what happened to you girls" ace said as he smiled.

"Me and Alex are going to start tomorrow" the girls looked at me.

"Where?" Cara asked.

"At the library we are starting soon because we want to make it a big one to get extra points"

"We wanted too but Ben has football, so he is busy, and he doesn't want me to do so much work" Cara said and blushed.

"Well me and Oliver are going to work tomorrow too, and we also decided to do a big one" ace blushed as he played with the hem of his shirt.

"What are you guys talking about" Noah asked as he sat next Cara with his food.

"Chemistry project" I answered.

"You guys are partners?" Ben asked as the boys followed him and sat down.

"No actually we all have different partners"

"Ah female or male?" Mason asked.

"Male" ace said making the boys stop eating.

"All of you?" Elijah asked as he clenched his hands.

"Um no just ace-" Cara tried to explain but was cut off by Ace.

"Yup and you can't do anything about it" Ace said.

"What?!" they yelled.

"Chill it's not a big deal"i said.

"Yeah it's not a big deal besides we already decided with our partners when we will start" Annie said.

"When?" Ben asked.

"Tomorrow me and William will start"

"same with me and Alex"

"Alex? Alexander the nerd"

"He is a cute nerd" I said that made Elijah glared at me and clench his jaw.

"I don't like that" Elijah said.

"I didn't ask" I replied.

"Dad Mia has a project for chemistry" Noah yelled as he entered the house.

"And her partner is a boy"

"WHAT?!" I hear a yell from my dad.

"There's nothing wrong with it Sebastian" my mom came before my dad she looked at me and asked me.

"Who is your partner" I whispered his name to her as she responded with a big smile

"Oh my God really?" she yelled.

"I don't like that"

"i didn't ask" my mom replied to my dad.

"Annie did that?" she whispered making me smile and nod.

"I do too, and we are going to go to Landon's and Stephen's house because it's mason's birthday on Friday"

And by the way dad doesn't like the Idea but mom threatened him with pancakes and sweets.

"Hey Mia" Alex smiled as he sat down and opened his book and notes.

"Hi, ready to start?" I greeted him and opened my notes.

"Ah what a surprise seeing you two here what are you doing" Elijah came and sat between us and put his arm around my shoulder.

"Oh we are studying for our project" Alex smiled.

"Nice to hear that anyway want to go get ice cream"

"Elijah leave we're studying not having fun" that made Elijah roll his eyes and turn to a scared yet smiling Alex and whispered something in his ear.

"Okay?" Elijah patted his shoulder and smiled.

"O-okay" Alex stuttered and looked at his notes.

"I'll be leaving now" Elijah got up and went out.

"Are you okay?" I asked Alex who nodded his head.

"He was so nice, and he is a hard worker, so I didn't have any problem doing the project" I said as Annie served cake and candy to the girls.

"About you Annie" Emma asked as she ate chocolate cookies.

"He was really nice, and he is smart, but he had to leave early" Annie said.

"Oh yeah Elijah came into the library and sat between me and Alex then he whispered something to Alex which made him scared"

"Mason did the same except William only smiled"

"I don't like that"

"same they seem suspicious"

"Anyways mason's party is on Friday we all are gathering at uncle Stephen's and uncle Landon's house" Cara said.
