"you're here" alice says
"of course i am i wouldn't miss this for the world" i smile
"be...nice?" Alice says
"nice is my middle name, now where'd they go?" i ask
"book store" alice says
"i shall return" i smile
"have fun" she says
as i walk toward the book store i feel as if i'm going to regret the decision of confronting them. i trust Miles i do, but it's Rebecca's ways that swoon any boy in.
i see them. gazing at book that Rebecca probably has never heard of. ugh.
i decide to go down the aisle next to them and see if i could hear them. and i could.
"look, i know you've got a girlfriend, but would you like to come to mine tonight.. there's a party?" Rebecca asks him
"party, yeah sure i'd love too" he says
"what about your lover?" Rebecca asks him
"she'll probably find out somehow and wanna come anyway"
interesting.
they start to leave the aisle so i follow them and pretend to run into Miles
"oh sorry-" i say
"what are you doing here?" miles asks
"no the question is what are you doing here, with her?" i ask sending a death stare towards Rebecca
"shopping?" Rebecca says
"back out of this before i send your head through a wall" i snap
"y/n, can i not go shopping with a girl that's not you?" miles asks
Rebecca smiles. i glare at her.
"i told you to be honest with me, and clearly honesty isn't your thing. so when you find that honesty then i'll let you come back into my life. we're through" i say walking out the door
i felt proud of myself for approaching them. however i feel like Rebecca has once again gotten her way.

"how'd it go?" alice asks
"i broke his heart" i sigh
"wha- why?" alice asks
"because he doesn't deserve me when he cant even tell the truth, look i know its Rebecca but the real issue is that he didn't tell me, i would rather him have told me than me finding out the hard way" i say
"fair point." alice says
"mhm"
"you alright?" alice asks
"hm, i'm fine i gotta get home but i'll catch up with you tomorrow?" i say
"alright, see ya" alice says
i walk off but then it hit me, the party.
"wait there is a party at Rebecca's tonight, feel like crashing?" i smile
"oh yes i'd love to" alice says
"lets go shopping" I smile

A self-proclaimed seeker of peace and his trusty "system" venture on a journey to flip the world on its back—in a civilized manner, of course. Edris has always aimed for a peaceful, carefree life, but the world around him? Not so much. It started with encountering the amnesic, system-like entity in his head. Choices of the Magicless Son
I had an ability that allowed me to watch everyone. I narrated everything I witnessed. To who? To whichever being that's listening to my thoughts right now. I have a gut feeling you're there. Erik Spearhand was born from one of the many concubines of the current human emperor. The boy was insignificant. He was the only one in the whole world who couldn't use magic. And yet, his choices impacted everyone. I had seen every sort. Powerful mages who could kill with a thought. Monster people who had their own history among human and beastman civilization. And even what I presume are time travelers. Those mess with my head. And still, the magicless son was the most formidable of them all. Of all of us.
