Aleksios P.O.V:
I woke up with a groan and a sting in my neck and a dull ache in my chest, letting me know my twin is suffering. My anger flares at this and I want nothing more that to sink my hybrid teeth into Elijah just so that he can also be in pain.
"You have every right to snap my neck and bite me as many times as you see fit but I was protecting our sister." I hear Elijah's voice say in an apologetic tone. My head snaps to him and I see he looks guilty.
"Take me to my twin because judging by the dull ache in my chest he still has that nasty blade stuck in his chest." I spit out and Elijah's eyes widen at my tone but what did he expect? Hugs and kisses? He put my twin in torment, he's not getting a pass on that one.
He nods and leaves out of my room. I get up and I follow him next door to my twin's room, still in my clothes from last night but I don't care. Right now, I need to help my twin. Entering his room I see Nik lying in his bed, shirtless. His eyes are closed, and he's gasping in pain from Papa Tunde's blade being embedded in his chest.
"Twin." I whimper in a soft voice with tears brimming my eyes, if there is one thing I hate as much as seeing Davina die, it's my twin in pain. His eyes, full of pain, snaps to me and the corners of his lips turned up ever so slightly as Elijah removes his jacket and rolls up his sleeve.
"You just left him like this?" I ask him, appalled by his actions.
"Yes, I did. And every second it remains causes Niklaus untold suffering." He tells me stiffly and I glare at him.
"I'm aware of what it does Elijah!" I snap harshly and I go over to my twin, ready to pull out the blade.
"Let me-" He starts but I cut him off.
"You've done enough. Go." I say sternly but he stays put. "LEAVE!" I roar out and he finally leaves but not before telling me and my twin one last thing:
"Try and persuade him not to murder his baby sister. I know what she did is unforgiveable but at the end of the day, she is still family." He turns to my twin. "Niklaus, it was not my desire to bring you pain, but I will not see you hurt Rebekah."
"So it's okay to hurt him?" I mutter sarcastically with a scoff.
I turn to my twin and I grow my index finger's claw and I slice into him along the red scar bisecting his chest, before jamming my fist into the open wound to grab the blade. I feel the blade and I finally pulls the knife out of Nik' chest, and he groans.
"AGH!" He roars in agony and the ache on my chest is lifted once again.
"Sorry." I tell him and he nods weakly. I go into his bathroom and I wash his blood of my hands.
"Elijah. You will pay for this." I hear him whisper weakly as I finish up. I go down stairs to get a bloodbag and some vervain. I may be mad at Rebekah but Elijah's right, she stays my sister.
I go back up stairs and I climb onto the bed and I sit next to him as he slowly recovers from his injuries. I decided to leave the vervain, it won't hurt him right now. Not physically be case he's hurting to much mentally

I hand him a blood bag and begin famished, drinks from it quickly.
"Mmm." He hums in delight.
"Slow down." I say and I flick him on the forehead and I take the now half-filled blood bag. He gives me what is supposed to be a glare but I just chuckle at him.
"Okay." He gives in.
"Did you really think you could fight me?" I tease and he just gives me an unimpressed look.
"Look, I get your mad. Hell, I want to sink my toxic teeth in her but she's our sister. How can you hate her?" I ask him, deciding to take Elijahs advice.
"Because she has done what no one else has managed to do to me for 1,000 years... Rip my heart out." He tells me in a pained voice and I sigh, while taking his hand, not knowing what else to say.
"But it could have been worse." He adds on and I look at him questionably. "It could have been you. And that, I won't have survived. I would have been destroyed had it been you." He tells me softly.
"Let me make one thing very clear. I will never betray you." I say sharply and he gives me a small smile. "I may get angry, annoyed, pissed and all sorts of crazy but you are my twin, my best friend, my gossip budy and I'll always be here for you."
"I know." He tells me.
"You know, back in 1919 I let them be together. I let them be happy. I'd let my guard down and given in to happiness- more fool, I." He starts to rant and I let him, he needs to let this out. Nik sits up in bed and buttons up his shirt.
"Turns out, they'd already betrayed me, and brought to town the one thing we'd been running from for centuries... our father." He says sadly and I move forward to wrap and arm around him. I let him go and reach over for the rest of the blood bag and give it to him. When it is empty he lays back down.
"So what are we going to do? Obviously we need to teach her a lesson but you can't kill Marcel. And how are we going to find them? They could be anywhere in the world by now." I point out.
"Oh, I'm not so sure about that." He starts with a smirk. "They'll need a cloaking spell, and for that, they'll need a witch. There's only one place they can go..." He tells me continues to smirk at me when he realizes he can catch them and realisation draws on me as well.
"Home." We say in unsion and we share fond smiles.
Nik sits up and attempts to get out of bed, but he is too weak. He nearly falls, but I speed over and catch him.
"Ugh." He groans in aggravation and I surpress a chuckle at his state.
"You're still weak." I point out.
"I'm still hungry. There's a fresh blood supply in the kitchen." He tells me and I roll my eyes.
"I know dumbass. I live here. Besides, you won't make it that far. So, be a good little boy and get back into bed." I tell him sarcastically as I help him into bed in a sitting position.
"If I had a quid for every time a woman has tried that line on me." He says and my face contorts into disgust.

"One, that's revolting because you are my brother. Two, you'd be broke." I tell him with a smirk.
"I beg to differ. Some women actually find me quite charming." He says cockily.
"I'm sure." I tell him, nodding. "In your dreams." I add on with a grin and he throws a book that's on his bedside table at me. I catch the book at put it on his bed.
"Don't you remember Lana, the werewolf queen? I still gave my opera tickets to Marcel and Rebekah one night when Elijah walked in on us." He informs me and my smirk widens.
"She doesn't count if I slept with her first." I tell him and his eyes widen.
"You didn't." He says in disbelief.
"I did." I tell him, still smirking.
"I should have known with all those longing looks she gave you whenever you were around." He admits. "Wouldn't be the first women to sleep with me to try and make you jealous. She was still good in bed tough." He tells me indifferently and I snort as I remember how many woman tried to keep my attention by sleeping with my brothers. Expect for Elijah, because he's to uptight and he just turned them down. The truth is, I just didn't care about the woman I sleep with. Still don't. Expect for her, she kept my attention and she always will.
"You know, I still don't understand why you like opera. I can't stand it." I say to him. This has always been a difference between us.
"I always had a particular soft spot for Le Huguenots. I like the story." He gets out of bed and I watch him incase he falls over again. "It was a tale of forbidden love, a Romeo and Juliet of sorts. On the day they are to marry, family and long-festering hatred intervene. Thousands are massacred. A father even kills his own child in the final act. I can almost appreciate the irony." He tells me and I snort again. He walks out of the room and I follow him. I see him go into the living room as go into the kitchen to get him a blood bag.
I walk into the living room, blood bag in each hand, to find Nik pouring himself a drink from the bar.
"Not sure that helps." I point out and I throw him a blood bag which he catches.
"Not sure it doesn't." He retorts and I roll my eyes and he takes a big gulp of the blood.
"Elijah said-"
"Don't speak to me of Elijah." He interrupts me and I glare slightly.
"He loves us." I tell him softly.
"Yes. He does, and he proves it time and again, even when our father enlisted him to kill me." He says in the same tone.
"I know. I was there." I tell him in a louder tone with sass lacing my tone.
"Elijah has always carried guilt for that night for not stopping our father. I told him not to blame himself. 'When your father wants to kill you, he wants to kill you. Nothing you can do about it'." He says nonchalantly but I know it bothers him more than it has me. Always has. His cell phone vibrates, and he checks it.
"Oh, I hate to be a know-it-all. Our sister and her lover have been spotted in town." My twin says and I raise and eyebrow.
"I'm sure it's just awful." I tell him with sarcasm dripping from my voice. He walks over to a statue on the table and knocks it over. The statue breaks on the floor, revealing the indestructible white oak stake inside and my eyes widen. This is not good.
"Why do you have that?" I ask him wearily, gulping. Before I can interject, Nik speeds out of the compound.
"Damn it." I curse and speed after him. Outside of the compound and into the street to find my brother feeding on an random man he stumbled upon. When he notices my presence, he stops feeding and sends the man away.
"What are you doing?" I ask him wearily and he looks at me like I've gone draft.
"Well, if you have to ask, you obviously haven't been paying attention. I'm going to kill our sister, but first, I needed some more sustenance." He tells me slowly, like he's talking to a three year old.
"You can't kill her." I state and he looks at me in disbelief.
"And why not?" He asks me incredulously and I give him a really look.
"Because she's our sister! Don't you remember how we felt when Kol died?!" I tell him, my voice raising and my heart stinging at the mention of my little brother.
"She BETRAYED ME!" He shouts at me and I flinch and take a step back from him. He never shouts at me.
"Lexie, I'm sorry." He apologizes with guilt taking over his face.
"It's okay. I understand." I tell him honestly and he sighs in relief that I'm not angry with him. "You can't kill her, Nik. You'll regret it for the rest of your life and you won't survive that guilt and regret."
"I'll tell you what I almost didn't survive, Lexie- Our sister bringing the most vile creature ever to have walked the earth down upon us." He spits.
"So what, huh? You kill her and then what? You feel better?" I question him, crossing my arms over my chest.
"I'll figure it out." He tells me and he speeds away. Groaning in frustration I take my phone out of my jeans pocket and I call the last person I want to talk to right now.
"Where is my sister?" I demand as soon as he picks up.
"Sorry. Not telling you." Marcel tells me stiffly.
"Marcellus, might I suggest that tell me where she is so I can tell Elijah to go and find her because Niklaus is currently on his way to her with the white oak stake. Which is the one thing that can kill us." I tell him sternly over the phone.
"At the cemetary." He tells me in a panicked tone. "Please don't let him kill her." He pleads and I sigh.
"I don't know how much I can do right now. I've never, in all of a thousand years, seen him like this." I tell him and I hang up. Now I have to call another person I don't want to.
"Lex?" Elijah answers confused.
"Where are you?" I ask him sharply.
"At the cemetary." He answers and I sigh in relief. "Why?"
"Because my twin is on his why there with the white oak to kill our sister and I need you to stop him." I tell him quickly.
"Rebekah is halfway across the country the world." He counters.
"No, she's not. Marcel just told me." I inform him and he inhaled sharply.
"Why can't you come?" He questions.
"Because I can't fight my twin." I deadpan. And because he won't listen to me right now. But I don't say that out loud to him.
"Alright." He says with a sigh and hangs up. I put my phone in my back pocket of my jeans when I rock on my heels and I decide to go to Rousseau's because I can't go to the cemetary and Elijah can handle my twin. Sort of.
Some time later my phone starts ringing. With a slightly annoyed feeling I pick it up with out checking the I.D. caller.
"Yes?" I question annoyed.
"Can you come to St. Anne's?" Marcel asks me nervously.
"Why?" I question suspiciously.
"Please?" He pleads and I sigh. If he pleads to me, right now, something has to be wrong.
"Fine." I agree and I hang up. I speed to the church and enter it. I see Marcel standing in the front of the church with a slightly scared expression on his face.
"You do realise that if I hadn't promised Davina that I wouldn't kill you, you'd be dead. Right?" I question as I walk to him, my heart stinging as I say her name.
"What about yesterday in the Sanitrium?" He fires back and I cross my arms over my chest.
"Before we found Rebekah, I told him not to kill you or I'll leave him for a century." I retort and he opens his mouth to say something but closes it again, not knowing what to say.
"That's what I thought." I tell him knowingly. "What am I doing here?" I question him.
"Some one was nagging my ear off to see you." He tell me with an annoyed expression but there is a certain happiness shining in his eyes.
"Who?" I ask him confused. "And why reach out to you?" I add on. He doesn't answer me, instead he nods at something behind me and when I saw who it was, well, let's just say if I was human I would have fainted.
