《HER LOVE • davina claire》45 | THE DATE
Advertisement
It has been a week since Rebekah left. Nik has been sleeping with Genevieve since then and I haven't commented on it. Unlike Elijah who has plenty to say about our brother's choice in bed partner.
Currently, I am in the compound kitchen waiting for Davina to arrive. She is spending the day with me. It is the first time she has gotten of since she went to the witches. Sufficed to say, I miss her. A lot. We talk on the phone everyday but it's not the same. I want to see her, I want to hold her hand, I want to kiss her.
"Twin sister, your guest is here." Nik's teasing voice rings out from the courtyard and I smile as I hear her voice. I walk with human speed, interested in where their conversation was heading.
"You're so annoying." She tells my twin.
"Yes, well you better get used to me if you're going to be around Lexie." He retorts and I surpress a laugh.
"Lexie?" She repeats.
"It's a nickname only he's allowed to use." I say as I enter the room. I know my twin is there as well but I don't see him, all I see is the girl that I love in, standing there in her ever growing beauty. A smile lights both our faces. I'm vaguely aware of my brother speeding out of the room as I start to walk to her and she does the same.
Reaching each other, we connect our lips. No words are needed. A fire begins to burn in me as our kiss becomes more heated. Our lips hungrily devours one another. I place my hands on her hips and her cirlce her waist and I slip them in under her shirt, my hands gently trailing up and down her back, making her shiver, as she tangles her hands in my hair. I decide to take a risk and I slip my tongue inside of her mouth. Gentle and not demanding, not wanting to scared her off. She does the same. She tastes like mint, probably her toothpaste or a mint but I don't care. My head spins again, but my grip on her waist keeps me steady.

Eventually, we pull apart, breathing heavily an resting our foreheads on each other.
"If we don't stop kissing for now, the world is going to explode." She tells me, still breathless and I chuckle softly. I bring my hands down to her waist and I rub my tumbs in circle. Her eyes flutters, as a soft smile appears on her face.
"Yeah." I agree with a smile. We move backwards, moving our foreheards from one another but we stayed in our embrace.
"I missed you." I tell her, moving my hands from her hips and wrapping my arms around her waist.
"I missed you too." The brunette beauty admits, her smile faltering slightly and concern flashes through me.
"What's wrong, love?" I question her and she sighs.
"Ever since I came back, my magic hasn't been working. I can't do anything. And Monique, who was supposed to be my best friend, is acting like a total bitch." Davina rants and I couldn't help but let out a laugh at her words.
"Don't laugh at me." She tells me and I purse my lips, while nodding.
"Alright, I'm sorry, love." I tell her sincerely before getting serious again. "Look, Davina, it's not your fauly that your magic isn't working. It may take some time, but you'll get there. And if anyone has something to say, they can say it to me." I say seriously and she giggles. I smile, loving the sound.
"So, I want thinking, maybe we could go out?" She suggests, arms still around my neck.
"Like a date?" I question and she nods.
"Okay, where?" I ask, agreeing.
"I don't know. I was thinking that maybe we could explore the city, together." She tells me and my smile widens.
"That's a great idea."
///
"Seriously, love?"
"Seriously." Davina confirms, nodding with a big smile on her face and walked forward, dragging me with her as our hands are linked and our fingers are laced. I looked at the ice cream truck and I was about to comment on it when I saw the excited smile on my Love's face, so I decided to keep the snarky words to myself.

"I still can't believe you want to get ice cream. It's cold and sticky, ment for kids." I say with a shake of my head, a soft smile on my lips. She abruptly stopped and turned to me with a look on her face and I immediately knew I was getting a lecture.
"Ice cream is for people of all ages. It is wonderful, tasty and does wonders for a negative mood. And it is also a form of love for people who aren't lucky enough to have fine love yet." She tells me seriously and I have to bite my lips from laughing out loud. If I did, I'm sure I would get a jab in my ribs or a slap on my arm. She is the only person who can do that without having to worry about her head rolling down the street.
"And here I thought it was just a frozen dressert." I comment, earning an unimpressed look from the brunette beauty, who is now walking besides me as we reached the line of the ice cream truck.
"Nope." She says, popping the 'p', a serious look on her face and this time I let the chuckle pass through my lips.
"Okay then." I tell her, earning a smile from my Love.
A while later, we reached the front of the line and her eye lit up as she saw the different flavours.
"What can I do for you, pretty ladies today?" A young man asked us, smiling flirtatously at the both of us while looking at Davina's breasts. A glare formed on my face and I wrapped an arm around Davina's shoulders. Out of the corner of my eye I saw her look up at me, confused for a second before she saw my glare and smirked.
"First of all, her eyes are up here." I start, lifting my hands and pointing to my eyes. "Second of all, we want ice cream. I think standing in the line made that pretty clear, well actually does but she's dragging me along." I say empashising on 'my love'. The mans eyes widened at my words and a slight blush formed on his cheeks.
"I'm sorry." He muttered but I caught it with my supernatural hearing. "What ice cream do you want?" He asked politely, keeping eye contact with us.
"I'm not really a fan of ice cream, so I don't know. What do you think, love?" I asked, glancing at the brunette beauty besides me who still had a smirk on her lips.
"Strawberry for me and dark chocolate of the pretty lady." Davina tells the man and I fell heat rushing to my cheeks at her words.
"You think I'm pretty?" I questioned with a smile as the ice cream man was busy preparing our ice creams. This time a blush formed on her face.
"No, I think you're beautiful." She tells me honestly and my smile widens as heat rushes to my cheeks and my heart hammers in my chest.
"I love you, Davina." I told her and she got this sparkle in her eyes, just like the first time I said it, a week ago.
"I love you too, Aleksios." At her words, I feel like I'm floating on a cloud and she is the only thing keeping me from floating away up into the clouds. She reaches up and places a quick kiss on my lips but pulls away before I can kiss back. I look at her, a deep blush on her cheeks and a smile on her lips as she tries to look anywhere but me. I smile at this, knowing she is still shy. I don't mind though, I have time to get her outr of her shell. Still having my arm wrapped around her, I reach over and I place a kiss on her forehead, thinking:
I may have waited a thousand years to find love, but by god she was worth the wait.

Letters from a Dying World
Times historic are often penned after the fact in the lifeblood of the pitiful, forgotten masses. That roiling, uncountable crush of humanity, they who held the pikes and they who threw down the tyrants. Their veins opened by gazes academic, sharp and cruel, and pecked away at with quills, written out of their own story. The Second Dark Crusade was a time of such poignancy. A time when the light of man waned and flickered, choking in the acrid smoke of its own inadequacy. As befitting of such an age it has been covered more than a capital whore, and so I attempt not to tell that story again. That story of dull, unfeeling analysis. Neither here will you find the browbeating, propagandistic screeds so common in the hands of men, the light of youth still burning behind their eyes. Nay, here I shall attempt to cover fresh ground, not tread on the grave dirt of long dead authors. Here I shall attempt to tell the story of the small lives caught, unbeknownst to them, in the great and torrential downpour that we now call history. Here lies the true story of The Second Crusade. - Loremaster Ip'Qal

Aggravated Defense (Progression LitRPG)
A quick TL;DR pitch. LitRPG Apocalypse with group progression, a non-overpowered mc, a limited skill-slot System where having a single skill over your opponent could make a big difference. A barrier mage mc who isn’t an Edgelord A sentient System that’s a character in its own right. And no harem or cheat skills. ~<>~<>~ Steven knew the world had ended when a great green and purple dome covered the city of Anchorage. Then things got weirder. First earthquakes, then bolts fell from the sky, changing and twisting the things they hit. Steven, stuck in the throes of apathy, had sought shelter out of boredom more than anything else. But when some fellow survivors are separated and trapped by a rampaging moose, an emotion breaks through his apathy. He can’t turn away. Some people say it’s everyone for themselves at the end of the world. Steven disagreed ~<>~<>~ Will update every Sunday and Tuesday at 9:00am, unless the chapter is beefy, then we'll just have one that week. For some more meta details about this story, it’s a LitRPG Apocalypse with a focus on abilities and how they are used over stats and numbers. It will have group progression, a non-overpowered protagonist, and a focus on unique and interesting classes. No overwhelming advantages for the main crew or broken cheat skills. No harem, some amount of gore, decent levels of profanity.

Meeting myself
Canceled (This was my first attempt at a story and while I really enjoyed it, I lost track of the thread of the story. The MC was too op, and except for some fun slice of life moments it just wasn't a very good plot. Anyway, I may come back and re-write this in the future because I really enjoyed the premise, but for now don't expect updates.)I've never met Karma; or at least I think I haven't. Hope, really, because I'm pretty sure she hates me. You see, the thing is, I've always hated flying. When you don't wind up getting molested (cavity searched), then your bags get lost, or you spend the entire flight sitting next to a crying baby. This flight was even worse than any of those things. You see, this flight killed me. I won't spoil it, but lets just say, Karma owes me a few explanations. NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE, deserves to die like that. Of course, that wasn't the end of my adventure, far from it. But, you'll just have to read the story to learn about that.(This is a mature fiction, so far their hasn't been anything overtly bad (some minor sexual innuendo and drug use), but their will be plenty of blood, gore, sex, all that good stuff... eventually)

But who can erase what is already written! Destiny created man and Jodha's destiny was attached to the Mughal Empire. This is the story of Princess Jodha of Amber and her husband, the Emperor of Hindustan, Jalal-uddin Muhammad Akbar.~A LITTLE BACKDROP TO THE HISTORICAL ACCURACY OF THE STORY:*This story is fictional. Emperor Akbar did rule India from 1556 to 1605 but he did never marry a woman named Jodha. His first Rajput wife and mother of his heir was Harkha Bai from Amber. In eighteenth century, a British official messed her name up when he first mentioned her as Jodha and then the name became even more popular because of mainstream media. This story does not intend to hurt any religious sentiments, it uses the name Jodha however because common people today know of Emperor Akbar's chief Rajput wife as Jodha Bai*Highest Ranking#1 in Jodha - August 6, '21#1 in Akbar - October 16, '21#1 in 16th - October 16, '21#1 in Jalal - November 14, '21#1 in Mughal - November 14, '21#2 in India - November 14, '21#1 in Princess - December 17, '21#1 in Historical Fiction - December 22, '21#4 in Century - January 5, '22#1 in Empress - May 17, '22
