Friday, March 11, 2022:

"Would you please come with us. You are in no danger or trouble. We are from your government. We would like to have your assistance in a very important matter."

"Are you kidding me?"

"No Mr. Walker, we are very serious. Only you can help. Please cooperate. We want the help you give to be voluntary."

"Good God man, you've scared the Hell out of me."

"We're very sorry, but if you hear us out, you'll understand. One Million Dollars, tax free, has been deposited into an account for you. That's how important you are to this mission."

"Mission? One million dollars? Is this one of those Candid Camera shows?"

"No, sir. This is only too real. The agency has spoken to your wife. She is now waiting for you at Langley."

"Holy shit! What the heck's going on?"

"Will you come with us, please. We'll fill you in while we travel to Langley."

"You got my wife?"

"Your wife is in the loop and very compliant. She knows what is going on."

"Well OK. I guess you'll probably take me anyway."

"That won't be necessary, we hope."

"Yeah, OK, ahh. My boss is so..."

"He has been given a half million dollars. He is very patriotic. We vetted all of you."

"Wow, this must be big!"

"Very big. Will you help?"

"You bet, let's go. You are right about the boss, he was a ranger."

"Yes, we know. He is very proud to help. He is part of your cover. However, he doesn't know the mission."

Thirty miles away from Langley, Agent Landoll opened a file and had me read three pages of the mission.

"We don't usually let anyone handle the files but this mission is very different. Your comfort with this is part of it's success or failure. You're the only one in this country that can do this."

"I can't believe I look exactly like this guy. Wow!"

"You are one inch shorter and approximately 10 pounds lighter. We will take care of all of the details."
