《In Review》I'm On The Air

I remember radio and TV studios always had that lighted blinking message "ON THE AIR" to stop entrance during the action.

I try to be up on technoid stuff as much as I can stand.

But I'm never up enough.

It seems some of us need both hands without a phone most of our waking hours.

So, I'm not as aware of the constant need to stare at a phone for hours at a time and am often greeted with "SHHHHH!"

Without even eye contact or any acknowledgment.

Thanks for that!

What was I thinking?

Not being a cyborg myself, I must be more sensitive to those in the middle of a crisis point in some game or whatever is so compelling at that time.

So, I'll be more aware if everyone will meet me in the middle with this.

Those media junkies should warn us cavemen with an "I'm on the air" blinking light that could be very well fitted as a headband configuration. It would warn us of the impending doom if the least bit disturbed with any human impulse we know of from yesteryear.

Media junkies take note.

Instead of a warmly delivered "SHHHHH!" we could be warned to avoid all human contact until we are spoken to in some need they have for a human to provide a service for them.

I fear that someday the only one-on-one conversation will be somewhere that smells like new carpet, some kind of medicine, as well as urine and disinfectants.

Where, when you utter the phrase WIFI, some smart-ass like me will say "WIFI......good question"!
