《Unexpected Arranged Marriage》Part 9

The girl he mentioned just now was me! I remembered saying that to an older boy when I was younger. But all I could recall was that he was my mom's friend's son.
I met him once and that was it. Never seen him again after that. I didn't know that the boy was him! Only now everything came to mind and I could remember playing at the park with him and Taehyung. moonwritesfics
Well, mostly with him since Taehyung preferred playing football with the other boys. Jin, on the other hand, wasn't that much into sports. He looked rather nerdy and formal at that time.
With big square glasses and a checkered dress shirt fully buttoned up. Paired with a pair of slacks and dress shoes. moonwritesfics
He was sitting alone, under a big tree, overlooking a small flower patch at the picnic place. He seemed rather lonely, so I approached him and we started talking.
I didn't want to reveal my identity now because I think it'll just make everything feel weirdly awkward. So, I started diverting and thinking of other things to talk to him about.
"So, what kind of video games do you play? I was surprised you actually know Nexon," I changed the subject and to my surprise, he was getting more pumped up talking about it.
We talked more about the randomest of things. I really had forgotten how comfortable I was being around him. moonwritesfics
I didn't realize that we had talked about various kinds of topics already. It was indeed a breath of fresh air. Y/n knows a lot about every topic that was cool to me, so I was really happy that I could actually talk to someone about it.
How I wish I would have the same chemistry with Irene when it comes to conversing. Sometimes, I just wish I could switch partners with Taehyung but it's not that simple now, is it? moonwritesfics
"What are you going to do with the flour?" I frowned when I saw him bring out a packet.
"I'm making hotteok," he answered. "What?!" I was in extreme shock.
"What do you mean 'What'?" he furrowed his eyebrows. "No, no. Usually older generations would know how to make them from scratch," I pointed out and bit my bottom lip out of nervousness. moonwritesfics
"Excuse me, are you saying that I'm old?" he narrowed his eyes at me.
"No... I didn't say-" I wanted to clarify myself but he cut me off. "I'm not old," he scoffed. I seriously didn't know it was a sensitive topic for him, but I didn't want to stop being playful.

"If you stop pouting like that you won't look that old," I added some fuel to the fire which made him glared at me. "I'm done talking to you," he rolled his eyes and faced his back towards me. moonwritesfics
I giggled silently thinking that it was actually cute of him being all pouty and angry like that.
"Hey Jin," I asked but he didn't answer me. I bit my bottom lip, holding myself back from laughing. I started to think of things that can actually make him speak to me again.
Suddenly, a joke came to mind. I almost laughed even before I could tell it but I inhaled deeply, trying not to lose composure.
"Jin... What does a German say to you when he hits you with a loaf of bread?" I quizzed all of a sudden but he didn't give out any response. High chance that he was still trying to ignore me. moonwritesfics
"Gluten Tag!" I blurted out the answer of my own riddle and let out a chuckle after that, not caring how he'd react since I thought that joke was beyond hilarious!
But to my surprise, he burst out laughing which made me stop with my laugh for a moment.
"Gluten Tag!" he repeated while letting out a laugh that was rather unusual. If you listen to it carefully, I'd say it sounded like a windshield wiper, cleaning off a dry surface. I started to laugh once again due to his infectious laughter.
However, we were interrupted by the sound of someone clearing off his throat. It was Taehyung. Me and Jin both stopped laughing at that very instant. I could see that Irene, Mrs. Kim, and mom were there already, standing alongside him as well. moonwritesfics
"Hi, everyone!" I greeted, with the hope of lessening the awkwardness. "What was so funny just now? I could hear Hyung laughing like a hyena from the dining room," Taehyung asked as he was a little bit curious.
"Oh, Tae! Hear this out!" Jin exclaimed to his brother excitedly which made his brother cocked an eyebrow up at him, wondering what the elder one was all peppy about.
"What does a German say to you when he hits you with a loaf of bread?" Jin asked and bit his lip, preventing him from any kind of laughter.
"What?" the younger lad asked his older brother. "Gluten Tag!" Jin burst into laughter once again. I chuckled a little but stopped once I saw the others weren't that much amused by the joke.

"Aish... Hyung... Isn't that a little bit too lame?" Taehyung stated which made his brother stop and the older guy's expression turned blank within a second.
To be frank, I did feel a little disappointed as well since that was originally my joke. It felt like Taehyung indirectly expressed that to me instead of to his brother. But I couldn't do anything else but to just bitterly chuckle at my fiancé's comment. moonwritesfics
"Well, lunch might take a while, so maybe you guys can just wait anywhere else but here," Jin made a sudden suggestion to the rest.
"Do you want any extra help, honey?" Mrs. Kim asked Jin. "I think me and y/n can manage," he said, which made his mom reply with a nod.
Timeskip
The time passed by so quickly and now the wedding is about 2.5 months away. We have yet to decide on flower arrangements for the reception. Therefore, Mrs. Kim had asked me to discuss this matter with Taehyung.
I would usually meet up with him on weekends. However, not for dates though. We literally would spend hours completing wedding tasks. And once finished, he would just send me back home. That's it. No extra time spent doing other things.
I actually have tried multiple times, inviting him for coffee after we had finished our errands. But, he would always turn it down, telling me that he was either busy or had some other work or things to do. moonwritesfics
"Why can't you pick up your damn phone?" I muttered under my breath, getting a little frustrated as the call went into voicemail once again.
I have tried calling Taehyung for the past 20 minutes already, but obviously he didn't answer any of my calls.
I looked at the time, and it was almost lunch hour. Therefore, I decided to just go to his office instead. moonwritesfics
"Hi, excuse me, is Mr. Kim Taehyung available?" I asked his secretary once I reached his floor.
"Oh... I'm sorry Miss... He said he wasn't feeling well today so he already went back about an hour ago," she said with an apologetic smile.
"Oh, ok. Thank you," I slightly bowed at her with a faint smile. 'No wonder he didn't pick up my calls,' I sighed, feeling a little guilty for being annoyed at him before. 'Most probably he's at home now,' I thought.
I went to a nearby restaurant and got him some soup, just in case he needed something to eat. I then made my way to his apartment. I rang the doorbell a few times but there was no answer. 'Weird,' I sighed. moonwritesfics
I didn't know why but I decided to turn the door knob. And to my surprise, it was actually not locked.
'Maybe he was that sick that he had no time to lock it,' I wondered as I pushed the door slowly, only to be met by a quiet home. But suddenly, I hear some extremely faint noises. Almost sounded like someone was crying.
I stepped in and I accidentally stepped on his shoes. Correction. A woman's shoe. My eyes widened instantly.
I don't know why suddenly my hands were curled up into fists as I tightened my grip on the plastic bag handle containing the soup that I bought. I shook my head as I tried to focus on the noise. I tiptoed in. moonwritesfics
I placed the plastic bag on the dining table and continued with my steps carefully.
The sound was coming from one of the rooms. My heart started to pound like crazy. The only thought that came to my mind was that he already has a girlfriend.
But then again, why the heck would he ask his mom to set him up with someone else if he's already in a relationship?
I got to the door and those faint sounds were indeed the sinful sound of moans. "Oh, Tae...That feels so good," the woman's voice was heard and I almost puked with clear disgust.
I tried my luck again by turning the knob, and to my good fortune, the door wasn't locked as well! moonwritesfics
Of course, I had to settle everything there and then. With no mercy, I swung the door open rather aggressively.
"OH MY GOD!" I shrieked and both of them were shocked.
The woman was on top of him. Her hair was covering her face. Good thing both of them were still in their undergarments.
Taehyung immediately pushed the woman to his side and he quickly sat up on the bed, grabbing the quilt to cover up their bodies.
"Y/n, I can explain..." he started which earned a death glare from me. "What to explain, Tae? It's way too obvious," I scoffed.
The woman sat up as well and combed her hair with her fingers to the back of her ears. My jaw dropped at the sight.
"IRENE?!"

Fragments of Glass
before the 1939-1945 War, most churches in England had stained glass windows, but despite local people's best efforts many of these windows were smashed in the bombing. What could be repaired was repaired, but in many churches all they could do was reassemble the remaining fragments randomly, with extra bits of clear glass added to eke them out to fill the windows. That is what I imagined for my collection of short stories: fragments of stained glass, bits of robe, bits of faces, all sorts of odds and ends randomly stuck together. And with quite a lot of clear fragments among the coloured ones. Just broken pieces of stories that anyone can look through.

Dragon Ball, A True Coherent Fan-Fic
Author: So I was writing and erasing every time I had a chapter for my other story, I felt it had something missing. So I decided to practice by doing a Fan Fic after reading some of them. Some of them almost made puke of how much they made me cringe. Now I'll make it justice my doing one. I don't have to create too deep of lore. I can just work around what's already there and fix some things I hated in the original work. Vegito being retcon. Launch being lost in limbo. No love for Tien Shinhan. Synopsis: I died and reincarnated in the Dragon Ball universe. This is how everything went down after was reborn.
