My eyes went wide and instantly met with y/n's. She was already looking at me with a sheer shocked expression. moonwritesfics
"Umm..." was the only thing that was able to come out of her mouth. Probably she was taken aback by Irene's sudden suggestion as well.
"I think it's better that me and y/n talk privately," I said with a rather firm tone as I glanced over at my younger brother. "Don't you think so, y/n-ah?" I turned towards her once again while asking the question and she nodded impulsively as a reply.
"Hyung, I can't leave without her," Taehyung suddenly said with a sigh. I instantly shot a look at him. moonwritesfics
"Excuse me? Why not? You already have Irene," I snapped back at him but my brother let out a little chuckle. I was quite puzzled by his response.
"Woah, you don't have to be feisty, hyung," he pointed out, still chuckling. I cocked an eyebrow up at him.
"I said 'leave', not 'live'," he clarified with emphasis. He then smirked at me, which made my face turn red. No doubt I have misheard him. moonwritesfics
"We all carpooled here. Y/n's car is at my apartment. I'm her ride," he explained. Now I just looked like a clown. "Oh..." I said, trying to hide the fact that I was extremely embarrassed.
"Umm, y/n... Do you have to get back to your office?" I asked her, with the effort of diverting everyone's attention from what had just happened. "Mmm... yes, in about 30 minutes," she answered after she looked at the time on her watch.
"It's ok, Tae. I'll send her after this," I said. "Are you sure?" He asked me, wanting to make sure that I was ok with it. I nodded, giving him reassurance. moonwritesfics

"Ok, hyung. I guess me and Irene will head back first," he smiled. "Jin... Y/n... Again, I'm really sorry for the inconvenience," Irene apologized and bowed to me and y/n.
"It's okay, Irene," y/n replied to her. "Let's give them some privacy, babe," Taehyung wrapped his arm around Irene's shoulders and pulled her to go out of the door with him, giving me and y/n some time to ourselves to clear everything that needs to be cleared.
The door closed behind them and I let out a long sigh. I plopped myself down on the couch. "What the heck just happened?" I mumbled.
"This is crazy," y/n sighed but her gaze was affixed on the coffee table in front of us. "I thought these things only happen in dramas and movies, you know," she added while shaking her head but her statement made me let out a chuckle, resulting in her doing the same. moonwritesfics
We took a deep breath and exhaled.
"So..." we said in unison which made us both look at each other. Our eyes widened at first due to the unplanned synchronization.
It was so spontaneous that we found it rather amusing and instantly burst out laughing. But that laughter suddenly died down, remembering the topic that we were about to seriously discuss.
"Umm... You first," she insisted and looked down to her fingers. "Umm... So..." I started but then I bit my lower lip. I was still trying to put words into sentences. And it's not helping that I suddenly felt a little anxious.
"Umm... Do you..." I was still a little hesitant to speak in full proper sentences because I still don't know how she felt about the whole idea. "I mean, should we?" I asked looking down at my shoes. I couldn't spare a glance at her as I knew that my face was as red as a tomato. But before I could go on, she replied.

"I-I don't know," I suddenly stuttered, answering his question. I was extremely nervous. I could feel my hands were getting cold. "I mean..." I was about to continue with what I was saying. However, Jin was faster at cutting me off. moonwritesfics
"Should we marry each other then?" he managed to ask me in one breath. I could see that he had shifted his gaze on me from the corner of my eyes. I could feel that my face had started to get warmer. If only he knew how much I wanted to scream 'Yes!' out loud.
I gathered up some courage and I turned to look at him. "I mean, I'm ok if you're ok with it," I managed to say after clearing my throat, trying to act as if I was cool with everything.
"Of course, I'm totally fine if you don't want to," I added, not to add more pressure on him. But deep down inside, I really hope he wouldn't reject the idea of us being together.
"Umm... I don't mind to-," he said but then he stopped as his eyes widened, realizing something. "Oh wait, there's an eyelash on your cheek," he said and I unknowingly raised my eyebrows, a little surprised by his sudden change of topic.
"Let me help," he scooted over, getting nearer to me. He turned his body a little and his knee met my thigh. I was waiting for him to move it away, but he kept it there. moonwritesfics
Butterflies roamed aggressively in my stomach but I forced myself to stay calm, trying so hard not to react. 'Calm down, butterflies. Calm down,' I chanted in my mind.
I leaned in and tried to get the eyelash off her cheek. But the door suddenly swung open, which made me jump backwards, further away from y/n.
"Oh my, am I interrupting something here?" Taehyung looked at us suspiciously. A smile, that obviously had a double meaning, was clearly evident on his face. moonwritesfics

Luck Lockyer
Luck Lockyer was the type of man to smirk in the dark, the expression not for anyone but himself. One of perpetual amusement. The bright side of things were hard to find in the shade yet his amber eyes were always searching. The smirk was his default, he knew it, his friends knew it, his family knew it. It was his most natural state. But the death of everyone close to you can affect a downwards curve on the mouths of even the most stoic people. Without purpose, without anyone to do the job for, Luck Lockyer found himself inside an empty forgotten church. The perpetual smirk on his face had slipped to a thin line, his scar more noticeable now than ever before. His amber eyes, the windows to his soul, dull and lifeless. To anyone who knew him, it was the clothing that gave away his mental state, denim pants and a plain black t-shirt. If that wasn't enough, the tears running down his face certainly would, the echoing sobs of a broken man rang across the rundown church. It was on a whim, but Luck Lockyer prayed, he prayed for many things, for death, revenge, friends, but the one prayer dominating his thoughts, a second chance for his family. That was all he wanted. Simple. It was then, on the outskirts of a polluted city, in an abondoned lot, in a forgotten church that Luck Lockyer, the Devil of the Cards, the Bloodless Hand, the Amber Demon, the Broken, was answered by a being from another world and one from his. *found the picture online
