《Craving Him | Completed》Chapter - 1

8 years later, Present Day
"Sam! Get your fucking ass over here," The restaurant manager and Sam's boss shouted from his dingy office.
Sam rushed to him, knowing very well what it was about. To be honest Sam had zero patience to Drake's bullshit especially since the last few months. He had been skipping work and he didn't feel guilty about it. He needed fresh air away from crowd so he could get some peace of mind. he had been feeling increasingly suffocated for the past few months now.
"How long have you been working here?" Drake asked, pumping a yellow stress ball in his first, his face turning red. If had been a few years ago, Sam would be pissing his pants at the sight of the angry fat man, but now he knew Drake was all teeth no bite. He would never remove Sam from his job. A lot of his customers came just so they could talk to Sam. He knew how loyal Sam had been to his business and he couldn't risk loosing such a hard working employee.
"Fucking answer! You faggot!" Drave said, pushing his chest.
Sam clenched his teeth, the demeaning comments didn't affect him as much as it used to. Drake was a raging homophobe and Sam felt a little sorry for him, it seemed like the forty year old was a closeted gay. The way Sam had caught him staring at his ass a few times, was a clear give.
"Four years, Drake." He said casually.
"And what have you learned in these four years?"
Sam didn't have to answer. Drake continued "That I don't take shit from boys like you. You pull up a no show on me, you leave my restaurant. I don't pay you to slack off."

Sam gritted his teeth. Drakes threats have been getting on his nerves more than they should. This job meant a lot to Sam, he needed the money to save up for college and the tips here were great. The regulars knew him here and they loved him. The only issue was his new-found wolf needed an Alpha figure which was missing in the city. His wolf was ready to bust out at the littlest of provocations. He gulped down the anger, taking a deep breath.
Sam nodded trying his best not to rip the motherfuckers head out of his shoulders. "I understand," he managed to say.
"Now leave. Don't stand there like a statue."
Sam walked out before he did something he regretted.
Sam was only fifteen when he was thrown out from Yoda Pack. There was no denying his sexuality. Being a gay in werewolf community was nothing less than a crime. His peers hated him for wearing nail paint and ear hoops to school. His teachers always made him sit at the back of the class so the other boys didn't contact what he had. It was when someone spread the rumor of Sam kissing one of his classmates that the Alpha of the Yoda pack intervened. And intervene he did. He didn't think twice before ordering him to leave pack property. His mom didn't protest, she didn't think how a fifteen year old will survive all alone. In fact, she wanted him to leave as soon as possible, without no money or support system. She was nice enough to pack his stuff in a bag and throw it out on the front yard. Being 15 and living in a world he did not know anything about wasn't easy. He was homeless for a long time, hiding away from child protection services. If child protection got hold of him, the Alpha will make sure he didn't survive. Their identity depended on not having any attention to the small community living in the forest. If they knew the community abandoned a child because he was suspected to be gay, they would want to come confront the leaders. the world will quick to label the pack as a cult. It was one of the reasons why the pack has killed gays before, Sam had heard all about the horror stories. He was thankful the same thing didn't happen to him.

Working as a waiter in the city's most popular restaurant gave him the money to survive. His innocent face pecked him pretty good tip from the customers. He might even have given one or two handjobs to old hogs in the back alley, but that's it. He had morals and he never went beyond the handjobs no matter how much money was offered to him. He was saving himself for the special one, the one who will mean the world to him.
Things were going more than fine, he had saved up a good sum and he was going to enroll in the night college but things went downhill. He got his wolf out of nowhere. It wasn't uncommon in werewolf community to get turn into wolves at the age of eighteen but he didn't expect it happen now. Without the assistance of an Alpha Wolf it was impossible for him to control the beast. Sam's wolf was wild, he acted out without a worry in the world, it was the reason for his no shows at work.
Sam had always feared this day. A lone wolf is never a good thing. If werewolves from other packs smelled him, they wouldn't think twice before killing him and parading with his dead body.
The worse thing was, it was getting difficult with each passing day. There was only one way to save himself and that was going back to Yoda pack for help. He knew the previous Alpha had died and now his son Jordan was in charge yet it didn't ease him of his worries. His mom was still on the property. The people who hated him were still there. And homophobia was still a very real thing in Yoda Pack.
Unfortunately he had no other option.
