" i seeing this correctly?" jungkook blinked.
jungkook tapped haru. he pointed towards the big sign.
"i think i'm dreaming, please slap me."
haru's nose wrinkled. she stared at jungkook with a blank face.
"alright," haru's hand cracked along jungkook's face.
"holy fuck!" jungkook shrieked, clutching his face, "i didn't think you'd actually slap me."
"that hurt like a bitch."
a bright red handprint covered the right side of jungkook's face.
haru shrugged, "you asked me to slap you."
jungkook frowned as he turned towards namjoon.
"hyung! can we please stay here for a couple more days after we rescue jin."
namjoon rolled his eyes. he shrugged jungkook's hands off him.
"no."
"but why." jungkook whined, "this is so unfair, we never go to five star hotels."
jungkook stepped out of the car, standing beside the others. they stared at the hotel, sparkling with sunshine.
"i'm assuming we can't bring weaponry in there."
"yeah dumbass," yoongi remarked, "there's a reason namjoon picked this hotel."
"he picked it so it wouldn't be obvious we were staying here."
jungkook sighed, "yeah. yeah. yeah. i get it. you don't need to lecture me."
yoongi raised his eyebrows at the younger disrespecting him.
"also i only bothered reserving three rooms, so stick with your roommates."
loud groans filled the atmosphere.
"you're such a tyrant. you always get your own room."
"are you fucking kidding me." haru expressed her distaste, "i don't want to room with that asshole."
she pointed at namjoon, groaning. namjoon huffed, crossing his hands.
"so, are we going in or not?" jimin looked around him.
namjoon nodded, "we're going in."
they entered the lavish hotel, filled with dozens of tourists. yoongi went up to the receptionist to get the room keys. he grabbed them, distributing one per room.

"namjoon. i swear to god if you lose this like your passport." yoongi threatened, "i'll end you."
"don't worry. i'll make sure he doesn't lose it."
haru glared at namjoon.
namjoon looked at his watch. it was 11:00 am.
"i want everyone to meet in my room at six. until then do whatever the fuck you want."
hoseok checked his key card, "sweet, our rooms are all next to each other."
namjoon held his keycard in front of his room, unlocking the door. he held his foot in between the door and the wall.
"that means there's no fucking excuse for you not being in my room at six."
namjoon slammed his door.
"i fucking hate you." haru mumbled.
haru slammed her fist on the door, "are you going to let me in or not."
taehyung chuckled, "they're already at it."
"hoseok owes us 10,000 won now."
"fuck yes," jimin clapped taehyung's hand, "i knew it."
jimin chuckled as they entered their room.
haru continued to bang on the door, "namjoon! i swear to god. let me inside."
namjoon pulled the door open.
"oops."
haru had been leaning on the door when it opened. she had fallen straight into namjoon's arms.
namjoon leaned into her face. he held her by the waist, lifting her up.
"baby." he drawled, "you just seem to keep falling for me."
a rosy pink hue tinted her cheeks. she dusted herself off, looking away from him as the pink flush grew brighter.
namjoon chuckled at the flustered girl.
"cute," he mumbled.
he loved it when her face turned bright red as he teased her. it was a slowly growing addiction.
haru raced into the bathroom, locking herself inside. they spent the rest of their five hours in silence.

loud bangs crashed onto their door. namjoon looked down at his watch.
6:00
he dashed towards the door, meeting with the others. they all stormed in.
namjoon counted the boys to make sure everyone was there. there were four not five.
"we're missing someone."
"of course we are."
taehyung locked eyes with namjoon, "jeon. fucking. jungkook."
namjoon glared at hoseok, "isn't he your roommate."
hoseok raised his hands up. he shied away from namjoon.
"i swear he was right behind me," hoseok rambled, "we left the room together."
knocks escaped into the silence. namjoon peeked into the eyehole. his jaw clenched. he opened the door, meeting face to face with a familiar red-head.
"hey hyung," jungkook rubbed the nape of his neck.
"jungkook, you better have a damn good excuse."
"to be fair, it's only 6:01-"
"-and." namjoon raised his eyebrows, "you're still late."
"i went to the car."
jungkook hurried into the room, shielding behind taehyung.
"you fucking dumbass!"
yoongi got in between the two.
"lets not waste our energy on this." yoongi mumbled lazily.
namjoon huffed, "i'll discuss the rest in the car."
they stayed in a group together, huddling towards the car. namjoon got inside the car, the others followed him.
"hyung. i thought we were going to walk."
namjoon turned his head towards jungkook.
"taehyung's going to drive us as far as we can go, and we will walk from there."
jungkook didn't reply to namjoon.
"how about we have some music to pump us up?"
"oh god no," yoongi groaned, "don't do this to us taehyung."
taehyung smirked. he took out his phone, pulling up the spotify app.
"we're no strangers to love."
"you know the rules and so do i!" jungkook shrieked.
"please save me from this misery. what the fuck did i do to deserve this life." yoongi mumbled.
taehyung sped up the car, jamming to the lyrics.
"never gonna give you up!"
he swerved around a corner pulling to a full stop.
"bitches. we're here."
the others looked outside the window. it was barren land. not a person in sight, just sand.
"where the fuck are we." jungkook piped, "it looks like a fucking desert."
taehyung got out of the car, "i don't know. but it's as far as we can go before getting caught."
"you're coming tae?"
taehyung rolled his eyes, "yeah. i can't do shit from this far away."
namjoon cocked his gun, ushering the boys to follow behind him. the sun slowly set as the group walked further away from their car. hues of red and orange filled the sky.
"holy fuck." jungkook groaned, "how far away is it."
namjoon peeked behind the corner.
he glanced at the group, "it's time to beat up some bitches."

A-Live AI
The year is 2247. For almost two hundred years Sentient AI research has been banned. Everyone knew this, and yet no one has ever given up on finding the perfect setup for it. Restricted AI are rare, but possible to get ahold of if you have the money and the clout to get through the law for it. Especially when it deals with the military. Alfred Homis is an engineer and has spent the last three years working for the United Terran Military's Research and Exploration Department. Specifically to help build a 'shackled' AI who's prime directive was to explore potentially habitable worlds. Worlds that are far cheaper to colonize and add to the United Terran Directorate's fold than terraforming. During the AI's maiden voyage things go horribly wrong, taking Alfred Homis along for the ride. Thrown into a parallel universe where the laws of physics are just a little messed up, Alfred finds himself trapped inside the very machine he'd helped to build. Add magic, hostile fantasy creatures, and two different pantheons of 'Gods' to the mix and things get even more complicated. Oh, and an invasion between universes to boot. But that's just all in a days work though for Alfred, the AI Lord. Authors Note: Hi guys! Long time no see. And yes, I know that's all on me. But I blame life for that. Anyway, this is my new work, and I hope you guys enjoy it! The chapters are a little shorter than I'd previously posted in my other stories, but I cannot say that I have the same amount of time or energy to write them like that anymore. Sorry about that. Still, some warnings: There is cursing in this story. I am not going to edit it out. There will be sexual content later. Blood, gore and cruel depictions are all planned. If that isn't your thing, I'd suggest you turn back now. There is also my dry, and often not-so-funny sense of humor. And oh, it's all in first person gain. Haha. I just tend to write better that way. If none of that bothers you, then enjoy the read! Feel free to comment, point out mistakes, or make suggestions! Reviews are nice too, but please lay off the criticism until the story gets good and going. Thank you. Note 1: Some edits to the synopsis.
