held haru in his arms. his heart thumped against his chest at the sight of the frail girl.
"haru!" he called out, tapping her shoulder.
haru didn't respond. she was out cold.
namjoon tucked his gun in the hem of his pants. he carried haru bridal style. she was as light as a feather.
her eyes gently opened, gazing straight into namjoon's. an uneasy expression covered her features.
"i don't feel so good."
haru's voice was no more than a whisper, each word was stressed.
namjoon looked at haru, "tell me what's wrong haru."
haru's eyes had closed before namjoon could finish. he only hoped that the others would be in this cell.
namjoon held his breath as he dashed closer to the bars. his eyes darted left and right through the bars.
he relieved a sigh as he saw familiar faces inside.
"namjoon!" they screamed from inside.
namjoon fumbled with the keys, trying each one until the door opened.
"jin hyung." namjoon's face was etched in worry, "something's not right with haru."
jin's face was weary, he hadn't slept an ounce. it was scarred in a variety of cuts, thousands of different splotches in blue and purple painted over his skin.
"let me see." jin sighed, "bring her here."
namjoon sat her upright on the ground beside jin. namjoon sat on the other side of haru, intertwining his hand with hers.
haru's face was flushed, her eyes fluttered open. they were dark and sunken as she looked up into namjoon's eyes.
"i don't feel good," she whispered.
haru could barely talk, each word that escaped her lips made her feel weaker.
jin pressed the back of his hand on her forehead, "namjoon, she's burning up."
haru lifted up her hands, touching her forehead. she pulled onto her hair.

"it hurts." she slurred, "namjoon, it hurts."
namjoon brushed back haru's hair, "i know haru. i know."
jin pulled at his hair. he pursed his lips into a thin line while staring at haru.
"namjoon." jin started, "did anything happen?"
namjoon shook his head, "i don't think so."
"walk me through what happened."
namjoon closed his eyes, replaying through the events that happened over the last day in his mind. he analyzed every movement they made, every action.
he took a deep breath, "i was knocked out for some good time and i woke up in a cell."
jin nodded his head, visualizing namjoon's statements like a movie.
"i woke up first and then haru a while after me."
jin rubbed his head, "about how long."
"maybe an hour?"
jin furrowed his brows. it didn't make sense.
jin continued to listen as namjoon recited everything like a movie. he didn't utter a single word as namjoon spoke.
"i would say a concussion considering the amount of time she was knocked out for.." jin hesitated, "but symptoms normally show up pretty soon."
"well." jungkook started, "she was hit over the head with a shovel."
jin glared at namjoon, "is there a reason you left this out?"
"hyung, he was already knocked out cold by a drug or somethin'." taehyung brushed his hair away from his eyes, "i don't think he could have told you if he didn't know."
"i still don't think it's a concussion."
jin paced around the room. his hands were on his hips as he thought of possible causes.
"it really hurts." haru mumbled like a never-ending tape recorder.
namjoon gently patted her forehead, "everything's going to be alright, haru."

jin glanced at the pair. he tilted his head. he crouched down next to haru.
"where does it hurt?"
haru shook her head, "everywhere, it hurts everywhere."
"haru." jin pressed, "i need you to help me out. where exactly does it hurt?"
namjoon squeezed her hand, "haru-"
haru's eyes widened. her heart pummeled inside her chest. she looked around her in fear. she trembled slightly.
"he's coming." she shivered, "jiminie, he's coming."
"whose coming?"
haru held onto namjoon's arm. she clung to him. she felt weaker, all of her energy was drained.
jin leaned in towards haru, "it's definitely not a concussion."
"she's hallucinating." jin tapped the walls, "that doesn't happen with concussions."
namjoon pulled haru close to her, "hyung, tell me what's wrong?"
jungkook leaned close to haru. he tilted his head to the side, his eyes fixed onto her neck.
he pointed to her neck, "hyung, what the hell is that?"
on haru's neck was a purplish-blue bruise, a slight discoloration. jin narrowed his eyes.
"was she drugged?"
namjoon bobbed his head to the side, "not that i remember."
jin looked at the ground. his eyes fixated on the gray concrete.
"it's not a concussion." he chanted as if he were in a trance, "it all makes sense."
"she wouldn't be knocked out for that long if it wasn't a concussion, unless she was drugged," jin mumbled to himself.
namjoon's eyes darted around the room, "then what is it?"
"a neurotoxin."
namjoon jutted his head forward, "what the fuck is that?"
"a poison." taehyung drawled, "one that affects the nervous system."
"i have no clue what half of that means. can you heal her?"
namjoon's eyes were laced with worry as he looked at the weary girl beside him.
jin rubbed the nape of his neck, "it depends."
"i need to know which one it is."
taehyung locked eyes with jin, "and only some of them have a cure."
loud claps echoed within the walls. footsteps clicked against the ground.
"i'm impressed."
hyunsik emerged from the darkness, nearing the open cell. he grinned at the group.
namjoon gritted his teeth in anger, "why are you doing this?"
hyunsik chuckled. his eyes scanned around the room, darting in between haru and namjoon.
"namjoon." he drawled, "you know what i want."
namjoon bared his teeth, staring into his father's dark eyes.
his father drew a finger over his lip, displaying a sinister smile. his dark eyes narrowed at the pair.
"you know very well what's in that package you stole."
namjoon glanced at haru. his jaw clenched.
"what the fuck does haru have to do with that?" namjoon screamed, "why is it that you're only happy once you take away everyone elses happiness."
"you took away jungkook's already."
hyunsik grinned, "i haven't taken away any happiness."
"i only distribute it towards the deserving."
"what kind of fucking twisted logic is that."
"remember namjoon," hyunsik brushed back his bangs, "haru's life is in my hands."
"i would really hate for something to happen."

Losian
It's been a while hasn't it? Since I disappeared. Sorry this couldn't be under better circumstances, but let's just agree that it's better late than never. I've been finding my way back since then, traveling across worlds of magic, science, even eldritch locations. I've seen things you wouldn't believe, and some I'd prefer you didn't. I'll tell you everything, even what I became in the dark. A long, long time ago, hahah... Never mind. Let's just start. My intention is to explore every. single. world I can think of from scifi to high fantasy, hopefully forming an overarching storyline along the way. I hope to be able to explore most of the settings, most of the tropes, and play with them in multiple different ways. However, this also means that many of the tags will only apply for specific sections of the story... As the first arc is now completed, chapter titles will be slowly edited to include the world involved, and then any relevant tags. Also exists on wordpress here, will update both sides simultaneously. Constructive criticism welcome and much appreciated. 20/3/2018. This is my story, the story of the last 100.Author Note: This story is a LitRPG apocalypse, woah fucking original idea I know but hear me out.
