《Ms.Thick & Mr.Sexy || 21+ || PJM x READER ||》Chapter 9

I was inside the main building of Park Enterprises making my way towards the reception. I stopped at the desk and piped in an almost inaudible "excuse me" in a cacophony of voices, already not expecting anyone to hear it but I was proven otherwise when the same lady I met when I came for my interview turned her head to attend me.
Familiarity flashed in her eyes as her mouth broke into a content smile. "Ah yes I was expecting you Miss Y/n L/n.", She got up from her desk and walked around, coming and standing in front of me. "Most importantly, congratulations on the job.", She shook my hands. "And welcome to Park Enterprises!", She beamed with an ever so welcoming smile.
"Thank you!", A smile formed on my lips with such a warm welcome.
"Oh and I haven't introduced myself, I'm Nara.", She said with the same smile.
"Nice to meet you Nara.", I smiled back.
"Alright Miss Y/n so, I was instructed to escort you to Mr Park's chamber as there are some formalities you need to take care of."
I just nodded my head.
"This way.", She instructed and walked in front of me to the elevators with me following behind. We stopped in front of the same rose gold elevators before getting inside them.
The elevators stopped in the hallway leading us to the waiting room. Nara took me through the waiting room and through the glass door leading to Jimin's chamber.
Nara knocked on the glass door a couple of times causing a clunking sound. There was a sweet-voiced 'come in' from the inside and we went in. "Mr Park as per your request, I brought Miss Y/n here.", Nara bowed slightly.
I turned to the way Nara was looking just to meet my eyes with Jimin's, he looked just as charming as he did when I saw him the last time. "Thank you, Nara, you may leave now.", He said not looking away from me. Feeling overwhelmed by his eyes, I was the first one to break the eye contact to look at Nara back. She caught my eyes and smiled at me before walking out of the door leaving me alone with Jimin.
I stand there looking around still being overwhelmed but now that I was seeing his chamber again I hadn't noticed how luxurious his chamber was when I came here before.
"Hope I'm not interrupting you from looking around my chamber?", I heard Jimin speak the same time I heard his footfall.

I stopped looking around before looking at him standing in front of me.
And I had expected myself to breathe normally but that wasn't happening currently because he was standing in front of me looking like .
"Not at all Mr Park.", I shook my head. "You have a great chamber.", I said somehow managing to keep my stuff collected.
"Thank you.", His full lips stretched into a smile so charming that I could not look away from it making my heart beat at an inconstant pace.
I soon realised that I would be caught staring right at him making me blink my eyes and speak. "So what are the formalities we have to take care of ?"
The smile slowly faded from his face and his eyebrows rose very slightly almost unseeable. It looked like as if he did not expect me to ask that.
Did he want to be stared at? Or rather....stare-
"Ah yes the formalities.", He spoke interrupting my too good to be true thought process. "Come to my desk please.", He motioned me towards his table while walking there. I nodded, following him behind.
He took his seat and so did I. He opened one of the drawers of his desk and took a file out. He put it on the table and pushed it towards me. I stared at it for a moment and looked up at him. Seeming like having predicted what I'd ask him, he answered. "It's a contract. A contract you must read thoroughly, understand, agree and sign to fully get the job."
I stared at the file again before looking back at him. "Go ahead and read it Miss Y/n."
I nodded and took the file in my hands and started reading it very carefully. After reading the contract for a while, I realise it was like any other contract, about the job and rules.
(Jimin's POV)
Y/n took the contract papers in her hands and started reading them. She looked just as focused as last time and for some reason, my eyes wouldn't want to leave her focused face....again, they just wouldn't.
What was happening right now, happened a few moments ago too. My eyes didn't leave her face. My mind was filled with her thoughts from the day she came to my office. I needed answers for why it was like that. I tried gaining my answer from looking into her eyes. But she had to interrupt by bringing the contract talk.

The movement of her eyes across the sheet, her every movement attracted my eyes and I didn't resist. I didn't want to resist. That face was worth getting my attention, that face was worth studying at and capable of making one get lost in thought. It was that enchanting. I almost wanted to touch her face and run my fingers over it but her voice snapped me out of it.
"Mr Park, I have a question.", She looked up from the papers to look at me, her eyes seeming doe-like filled with the innocence of curiosity. That expression caused sudden jolts of adrenaline through my body which stopped between my legs making my pants tighten slightly. I almost groaned. But stopped my voice from getting out of my throat. I kept my expression the same just like it was previously and yet I couldn't stop my eyebrows from furrowing after she caused me the trouble.
"Yes, Miss Y/n, what is it?", I asked somehow finding my normal voice.
"Here in the contract, it says 'you will be handed this job if you agree to work at Park Enterprises for at least five years.' Is this a compulsory criterion one must agree to get the job?"
"Alright, before I tell you my answer, you have to know this.", I fixed my gaze on her. "In the contract, it says five years because I cannot keep hiring a new secretary all the time, this criterion was added newly because people who worked as my secretary came and left really soon saying that 'the workload is too much or it's too stressful.' and to tell you the truth, I was disappointed at them. Their job was to be my secretary and a secretary's job is to make the job of their boss easier but instead, they made it more complicated. Due to that, I had many problems.", I stopped, kind of zoning out, staring at her.
"So....is the criterion compulsory?", She asked expecting an answer from me.
"Ah-yes but I can change it just for you.", I blabbered out the words that came from within me.
She raised an eyebrow, giving me a look that said 'what did you just say?'
"I-I meant we can reconsider that.", I corrected myself quickly.
There was a long pause as Y/n eyes were on the contract papers before she spoke up.
"It's not required, Mr Park.", Y/n stared at the contract probably reading that condition again and looked up at me.
"I thought you wanted to change it?", I looked at her in confusion.
She smiled lightly.
"Maybe, that was my thought at first but now that you've told me that your previous secretaries quit the job earlier saying it pressured them and what not and that you had a lot of problems due to that...I want to prove the other secretaries wrong and as you are the CEO, I'm sure there is a lot on your shoulders and that can be quite stressful, I being your secretary...want to make those responsibilities on your shoulder lesser so that you wouldn't be too stressed and end up discontent...I want to help you, to be more efficient so that the company can mount itself further.", There was a full-fledged smile on her face by now which didn't look hoaxed. "I don't want the contract to be changed."
My mouth was agape from whatever she had just told me. To a third person, it might have sounded cheesy and highly buttered to get in the good graces of the CEO. But it didn't sound like a lie. It came solely from her inner-self, her eyes said it all, that she meant her every word. I was moved from whatever she had just told me because I have interviewed many people and no one had ever been so unpretentious with their words. It made me so content that someone was finally here to help and not because of the pay and luxury.
"You are one of a kind Miss Y/n.", A big smile took over my lips as I looked at her with great content.
She smiled more and looked down at her lap but I didn't miss catching her pink cheeks making me smile to myself.
"So no changing the contract?", I rose my eyebrows.
"No.", She lifted her head.
"Great, so you agree with whatever the contract says?", I questioned again to make sure.
"Yes."
"Okay then sign it, please."
She nodded her head and put the contract papers on my table. She grabbed a pen from my pen stand before signing the contract papers.
"It's done, Mr Park.", she put the pen down and looked up.

Sara's (not really) Fabulous System Armageddon, Book I: The World Ended at Rush Hour
Planet Earth, Monday, October 7th, 2019. 18:30 * * On a fateful day, during rush hour in eastern North America, Heavens and Hell crumbled and fell from their higher dimension on Earth. It came from "above" but not the same above we regard in our tridimensional Euclidean reasoning. No, it came from "above" as in from a higher dimension. Bits and pieces of those places fell on Earth from all directions, this time in tridimensional Euclidean space. Satellites, the ISS, and space debris all were wiped clean from orbit. Even those that didn't crash with the falling debris were knocked off orbit by the shockwaves. On the ground, power distribution lines were disrupted and most power facilities were left abandoned by their dead staff. Most of these had emergency shutdown routines that engaged in a few days. Some others had a survivor among their staff that followed protocol and activated their SCRAM switches, stopping the power plant. Long-distance communication disappeared the internet along with it. The world was plunged into technological darkness. Nine hundred and ninety-nine out of every thousand human beings perished immediately in the pulse of magical energy from the torn spatial boundary. Spirits were rent asunder and vanished, their fate neither salvation nor damnation, only oblivion. The criteria used for this culling was latent magic potential. It didn't discriminate against education, gender, age, or ethnic group. But of the around seven million survivors, most would meet their doom moments later. Those on moving vehicles, like the ones driving on highways suddenly had to contend with high-speed uncontrolled cars and trucks driven by corpses. Trapped in their vehicles and helpless, they became part of the long snake of crushed metal. Very few survived. Those in the air or out in the sea were alone and probably unable to control their rides. Airplanes crashed, and ships kept their course or drifted away, depending on their autopilot. Several ended their own lives in utter despair after seeing their loved ones die in front of them. Another large group would die at the hands of other survivors. Violence and aggression became the norm. Only a few sparse pockets of not-so-sane survivors managed to band together and cooperate for the sake of mutual survival. The sole survivor in a five-over-one apartment building in Georgia, a girl became the keystone to humanity's survival. Sara's fabulous System Apocalypse had just started. She has only one remark. It was anything but fabulous. * * Updates every Wednesday and Sunday.
