After having a small argument with Jimin, Aera went straight to home. She was very angry at him.
"He definitely has no respect for his dad. He should be grateful. At least he still has a dad " she nagged alone.
Her heart was still on fire. For her, he shouldn't acted like that to his dad. Because the man he yelled at was his dad. The man who brought him onto the world!
Yes, he may said that he hates living in this world. But at least, be grateful for still having a dad.
There are lots of orphans who wish to have a parents.
With a sigh, she put all her things down and take a seat. She wanted to relax her mind and find some peace.
"Maybe I was overreacted " she mumbled as she started to remember all the things Uncle Seon told her about Jimin.
"His dad neglected him. He got lack of love. Maybe that's why he acts like that to his dad. " she sighed.
"His dad shouldn't neglected him. He was an innocent kid who just wanted his dad's attention. " she started to feeling guilty.
"It wasn't his fault, but his dad " she sobbed. She didn't know why she always gets so emotional when it comes to Jimin.
Knowing that he lived in a loveless family, it makes her sad even more. "He should not had to live in that life. He deserves loves. "
Sympathy. It was what she felt for Jimin. Because she knows that Jimin won't be so cold like this if he received the love he deserves.
As she thinks about it, she can feel that her head started aching. There was something her brain tried to recall. But it took some time.
And it hurts a lot.
She held her head with both of her hands and shut her mouth. It was so hurt that she can't even utter a word.
Her head had been aching for the past few days. But this time, it hurts a lot. But without she knowing, her brain was trying to remember something.
Something that she never knows.
There, she saw a girl with a cute pigtails hair. She was comforting a boy who was crying. The boy was crying hardly. And he looked so sad—
"Aarghh!! " she winced as the pain started getting worse. She fell on the floor, her face was getting red.
"You can't leave me " the boy said to the girl with a watery eyes. He was crying, begging to the girl to not leaving him.
" "
Jimin came into the room and found Aera was struggling with pain. He gasped at his sight and and helped her.

"Kim Aera " he said and Aera looked at him with small eyes. Her vision got a bit blurry due to the headache.
She held his shoulder and stood up. Then, he helped her to sit on the bed. She then took a moment to catch her breath and relaxed for a few minutes.
After she finds that she was okay, she turned to Jimin who was sitting beside her. She just looked at him without saying anything.
She saw his mouth were moving. But she didn't hear anything.
"Kim Aera. I'm talking to you " she finally got her hearing back. She shook her head and tried to focus on Jimin. "Yes? What did you say? " she asked.
Jimin sighed, "I asked you. What happened? " he asked.
"Oh "
"I don't know, maybe because I was tired " Aera answered with a small smile on her pale face. She didn't want to look sick or weak.
"So that's how people do it? I see " he nodded.
Aera was confused about what he was saying. "Do what? What did I do? " she asked. Jimin turned to look at her.
"You smile even you're hurt " he said, staring at her bare face. Yet, she still looks so beautiful.
"You're amazing for being able to smile. " he said, complimenting her. It was sincere from his heart.
His eyes slightly glanced at her necklace and smiled. Tbh, it was the very first for Aera to see him smiles. She forgot about her pain for a while. It was so relaxing and beautiful. He has a pretty smile.
Especially when his eyes disappeared everytime he smiles. Aera had been wanting to see him smile for a long time. And finally, she does.
Jimin lowered his head, "You said you are tired. So rest. " he said and stood up. He looked around and said "I'll ask someone to put a heater in your room. It'll make you feel better ".
Then, he walked away. Aera didn't have enough time to say anything.
"Thank you " Aera mumbled to herself.
I sighed and opened the browser to see if there was any news. As I expected, they were.

I rolled my eyes and threw my phone away. The society— it speaks but know nothing. Useless.
Bonding time? Fuck that shit off from me.
I stood up from my bed and went to a wardrobe. I took a piece of paper a brush and some paints.

I have took a short nap. It helped me to feel more better. I felt a bit refreshed.
Feeling a bit more sleepy, I stretched my body and looked at the time. It was almost dinner. I should getting ready now.
As I was done taking a quick shower, I wore my pyjama and made my way out from the room. Sometimes I'd feel like a lifeless bird locked in a cage if I just stay in the room.
I made my way towards the door. Which means I needed to walk pass Jimin's room. My eyes somehow tried to peek into his room. I just wanted to know what he was doing. My work became more easier when I found that his door was a bit opened. I smiled at my sight and looked into his room.
My eyes were searching for his figure. He was nowhere to be seen and I almost gave up. But not when I saw him who was sitting at the balcony.
He was doing something and his hand seemed a bit painty. I was curious about what he was doing. I took another step closer to get a clearer vision of him.
When I realized that he was painting, a smile crept on my face. Wow. It was the only word I can say. He painted such a beautiful painting.
But when I looked closer, I noticed that it wasn't a motivational painting. But it was the emotional ones. He gave his heart into the painting.
Other people might get their inspiration to paint from nice views, warm rays of the sun or maybe from laughter. But opposite to him, I can tell that he got the inspiration from things like nightmare, midnight thoughts, tears, fear and heartbreaks. I can see it clearly from his paintings. But even they were inspired by those negative things, it still looked beautiful.
I think it was how he expresses his feelings.
I watched him as his hand moved the brush up to down, his mind was trying to give the message every person would understand; emotions. It was so beautiful.
With such an easy and elegance way, he painted a pic of a boy holding a red rose. His face looked sad as he was looking down at the rose in his hands. It touched my heart.
I was watching him quietly behind the door. I gave all my focus on him and his painting. Without I realizing, I was caught staring at him. "What are you doing there? " he asked, moving his gaze towards me. He made me nervous.
I was blur and embarrassed at the same time. Well, getting caught by someone you stare at is embarrassing. I can feel my face heated up in embarrassment. "Uh, I was looking at your painting. It's um— amazing " I stuttered a bit. Gladly my brain didn't stop functioning or else, I'll look damn stupid in front of him.
I straightened my back and cleared my throat. "Sorry if I'm bothering you. " I apologized and was about to walk away but I felt something suddenly gripped my arm. I turned my head back and saw Jimin. How did he walked that fast?
I blinked my eyes, "Hm? "
Besides him, I also caught he was staring into my eyes. He was admiring them. It was so awkward so I turned away but he tightened his grip which make me looked back at him.
"What? " I asked.
He didn't respond to my question. But he just stared into my eyes.
After a few minutes, I could feel his grip loosened. "I wonder where you get those beautiful eyes " he commented.
My eyes enlarged at his sudden compliment. Yet, I still managed to act calm.
"My parents for sure " I said confidently.
He sighed and sat on his bed. Then, he looked at the painting that he painted a few minutes ago. "Do you like it? " he asked
"Hm? " I asked as I was confused by his question. But when I looked at where he was looking, I realized that he was talking about the painting. Then, I nodded my head. "Yeah, it's so amazing. You're so talented " I said.
He turned to me and raised his brows. "You think I'm talented? "
"Yes, you really are talented " I said casually. I can see from the side of my eyes that he was smiling a little.
"If you like it, then you can keep it " he said which make me more surprised. With my large opened eyes, I looked at him and gasped. "You really want to give this amazing painting to me? For real? " I asked in excitement.
"Yes. But it's not that amazing so don't be too happy. It's just a normal one " he scoffed.
"I'll put it in your room when the paint is dry. " he added which make me more excited. "In my room?! Woa. That's more exciting. " I smiled as wide as I can.
"Thank you, Jimin! "
« please don't hurt my little feelings »
I beg you.

Shadowrun: Blake Island School of Magic
It's a high tech, low life. It's the Seattle Metroplex in 2074. It rises like a steel and concrete cancer out of the earth. Poverty is rampant, corruption is everywhere, crime is out of control, corporations basically control everything, the old United States is fractured, magic has come back and now it turns out that humanity has been joined by elves, dwarves, orks and trolls. The old world ended but the rent is still due. Life goes on. You'd be surprised what people can adapt to, especially if they don't have a choice. One of the places where life goes on is just west of Seattle. Surrounded by the waters of the Puget Sound is an island. On that island is the Blake Island School of Magic. A decade ago it was known for producing some of the most talented awakened in the world. That reputation was hijacked by the wealthy corporate elite who now park their teenage children there. And since it's a boarding school, their parents mostly forget about them. Three young people, who are certainly not wealthy or elite, are chosen this year to attend this school of magic in hopes of revitalizing their reputation for talent. One from the ash drifts of the Puyallup Barrens, one from the most densely populated slum hive in the world and one from prison. This is their story. -- This story is set in the Shadowrun universe. If you're not familiar with Shadowrun, it mostly tells the stories of deniable mercenaries called shadowrunners in a cyberpunk dystopia. Instead of telling another story solely about shadowrunners, this story will tell the tale of young people navigating a world that is indifferent to them at best and actively hostile at worst. Shadowrunners will be in the story and we'll see them operate, but they won't be its main focus. This story originally began in 2017 as a passion project and continues to this day on the Somethingawful.com forums. The unedited version is over a million words strong. There are currently seven books in this series and I am currently in the process of editing them. If you read this story then you won't lack for content. -- The Topps Company, Inc. has sole ownership of the names, logo, artwork, marks, photographs, sounds, audio, video and/or any proprietary material used in connection with the game Shadowrun.
