Standing right in front of him, I looked into his dark hazel eyes. "So what's now? If you're going to nag at me again, then you can go. I'm tired "
I scoffed and continued my works. I heard he sighed and walked closed towards me. "I'm here not to argue with you, Jimin " Jungkook said as he sat in front of me. He crossed his legs and rested his body.
"Then what you're doing here? Shouldn't you get to work? Your dad might come here to find you. I don't want to meet your noisy dad " I stated, making him chuckled.
"Me either "
I continued my work and ignored him since he had nothing to tell me. But however, he looked different. The way he acted showed that he actually had something to say. The problem was; there was something blocking him from doing so.
But since everyone knows that I hate secrets, I decided to ask him. "I bet you've something to say. Why don't you just open your mouth to speak? " I asked, making him closed his mouth. I know that he was doubting.
"Actually, I want to talk about– Kim Taemin" he finished his sentence which stole my attention. His face.
His face was trying to hide the worries he felt.
But to not overreacting, I turned away and crossed my arms. "Why with him? " I asked, desperately wanting to know the reason. Because he can't know the truth. No one can know the truth.
Jungkook gulped down his saliva as he tried to remain calm. But my sharp gaze make his palm started to sweat.
"You were the one who wanted to ask me. Then open your mouth and speak! " I hit the table and he flinched.
"That girl. I want to know about the girl you had been talking about. I know that Taemin knows about the girl. But why can't I? Why you never tell me about the girl? I'm your best friend " he said as his heart breaks little by little.
"The girl is important to you, right? She means a lot to you. That's why you always get drunk so that you can remember all the memories you had with her! " Jungkook said as he stood up. He was angry. Very.
"Now, I know the reason why you can't be with her. " He said and I felt my heart thumped like hell. My eyes grew wide as I stood up too.

"No. You don't. " I shook my head in disbelief.
Tears started to form in his eyes but he tried his best to hold it. He was mad and disappointed at the same time. "You're crazy Park Jimin. Really " he said as he make his way out from my office.
I watched him walking out and fell back on my seat. He already know the truth.
The hurtful truth—
"Taemin " I said coldly as our gaze met.
He set all the files down and tried to hide his reaction. We hadn't talk for a long time. He grown up well. I can see it by his height difference. He grew up taller than I thought he would be.
He closed the files and straighten his back. "How can I help you, Park Jimin? " he asked. Even he looked cool and a bit chill, I know he was nervous seeing me.
His hands were pale and so did his lips.
"I'm not going to waste my time. Let's just go straight to the point " I said as I took a step closer to him.
"So, you tell Jungkook about me hmph? " I asked. His eyes went wild as he tried to think of an excuse.
"Did you tell him about her too? " I asked.
He shook his head, showing that he didn't. "No. I didn't say anything about the girl. " he stated.
"Really? " I asked, tucking my hands into my pockets. I looked around his office and tried to examine everything. "Make sure you're telling me the truth or I'll destroy everything you have " a creepy smirk plastered on my face as I started to walk away.
"But Jimin— " he called me as I stopped on my spot. I turned back to him and raised my brow.
"Please don't take her away. My brother needs her. " he spoke, telling me what he had been keeping for a while. I chuckled slightly, "You know that she belongs to me. Everyone knows that. And I bet. Taehyung knows that as well. So don't bother to take anything that's belong to me. Especially . " I scoffed and walked out from his office.
Everyone turned to look at me as I made my way out. Some just looked at me and some were staring at me with admire in their eyes. But I just let them be without giving any shits.
I came here just to warn him.

Jimin drove home as soon as he could. He didn't know why he felt so exhausted lately. He kept feeling tired, weak and dizzy. But maybe because he was not hydrated enough.
As he reached home, he took off his shoes and went straight to his room. He thought he could rest once he got into his room. But he didn't when he saw Aera in his room.
She was walking around his room and seemed like she was looking for something.
"What are you doing in my room? " Jimin asked as he set his bag down. He looked around his room to see if Aera had touch any things in his room.
"Oh, I just wanted to look around to see any other paintings of yours. I love it so much. " she answered.
Even she seemed to tell him the truth, he knows that she was lying. She didn't seem like those who admire art. She loves fashion, not arts.
But Jimin just played along with her lies. He sighed. "I have no other paintings so you can go out from my room. Now " he ordered.
Aera could feel his cold aura so she just obeyed him. She nodded and apologized for barging into his room without asking for his permission.
"But I have something to tell you " Jimin said, stopping Aera who was at the door. She froze and turned her head to look at Jimin.
"Don't get into a guy's room without their permission. You won't know what will happen next. So you'd better be more careful or you'll be a snack. " Jimin said which make Aera felt uncomfortable.
She lowered her head and nodded slightly. "I won't do it again. Sorry " she said and got out from his room as soon as she could.
He was nonsense, Aera thought.
I saw a boy was coming towards me. With a joyful smile on his face. He looked so happy and doesn't seem like to know what sadness is.
"Kim Aera! " he giggled as he took my hands and placed them on his chest. He was shorter than me. But he's handsome.
He has such a soft hair. The silk clothes he was wearing, it matches him very well. I gave him my confused look. "Who are you? " I asked as I tried to remember who he was.
He giggled cutely. "You don't know me? How funny! " he still managed to laugh after all.
"You're funny, Kim Aera! " he added. The way he called my name— it was familiar for me.
Kim Aera
I turned back to him and looked at our hands. Before I could examine his face any longer, he suddenly disappeared.
"Hey kid, where did you go? " I called for the boy as I turned around. He was nowhere to be seen. I walked around the place I never know where and searched for the boy. Until, I heard a loud scream.
A scream of fear.
I turned my head back and fell on the ground when I saw the boy. He was hugged by a big black monster. The monster was ten times bigger than me. I could never fight it.
But I can't let it takes the boy.
"Aera— help me. Please " the boy begged for my help as he took out his hand to reach mine. Fear was the exact thing that was in his eyes.
I tried to stand up so that I could help him. But then, something wet splashed to my face.
I opened my eyes and gasped when realized that the wet thing splashed to my face was his blood. The monster tortured him till his death.
It was the scariest thing I've ever seen. I wanted to yell to get help but I couldn't let out my voice. I was stuck. As I tried to seek for help, the monster made its way to me.
Its sharp teeth, its fangs, the claws it has—
It was absolutely a monster.
I forced myself to move backwards but I was too weak. It was already in front of me. It bended down to me and smiled mischievously.
"Found you, Kim Aera " it said and suddenly,
bang!
I woke up from my sleep and found that I was breathing heavily. I looked around me and realized that I was in my room, on my bed.
So it was only my dream. My nightmare to be true. I shook my head and rubbed it slowly. I had been dreaming the same thing lately. But it didn't make sense.
I never know that boy but why do I keep dreaming about him? Does it has any relation with my life? But, I don't think so. It's impossible.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
