“Darkness can't drive out darkness; only light can do that ”
Since I can't sleep after having the terrible nightmare, I decided to go downstairs and make a tea for myself. Well, it had been my habit since I kept having troubles to sleep. The internet said that tea can help to chill us down.
I spent almost 15 minutes in the kitchen, just staring at the the wall and ceiling. There was no one in the kitchen so I was alone.
Finally, I felt a bit sleepy.
I washed the cup and made my way up to my room. As usual, I need to walk past Jimin's room since our room was just beside each other.
But there was something that make me stopped. I heard a noise coming from his room.
Wait. It wasn't a noise. But a screaming.
I rushed to his room and opened the door. His room was dark and just filled by his groaning sound. He was having a bad time on the bed.
I was so worried so I went straight to him and held his hand. "Wake up Jimin! Wake up" I yelled, thinking that it would work. But it seemed like it doesn't. He didn't even open his eyes even I've shook his body.
I never felt so worried like I'm feeling right now. After all things I did to wake him up, he still didn't respond. Forcing myself to think, I finally got an idea.
I went straight into his bathroom and took some water to pour onto his face. I hope it could work as I wish it to do. Sweats started to roll down from my forehead as I was scared of Jimin's condition.
I can't tell that he was sick or having a nightmare because he looked so terrible. He kept yelling and groaning.
I splashed the water to him and he woke up right away. He took a moment to catch his breath back and wiped the water with his hands.
He was still trying to process about what was going on. But when he realized I was standing beside him, he turned his eyes to me. His eyes scanned me and looked at his wet body.
"Did you splash the water to me? " he asked. Since I really did that and had no other option to say, I nodded my head. He glared at me and hissed. "Why did you do that? And why you're in my room? Didn't I told you to not entering my room without my permission?! " he asked in mad.

"But I helped you. You were screaming asking for help. How can I just ignore it? " I snapped back.
He stood up and went to me who was standing right beside his bed. His eyes were big and full with darkness which was frightening me. He didn't look like himself. He was a different person.
"I warned you and you should obey me. Is it that hard? " he asked in a scaring tone. He sounded like a monster who was trying to eat people. I closed my eyes in fear, "But you were asking for help " I stuttered out.
I can feel something bad was going to happen. Because I know that I wasn't talking to Jimin. But another different person. Was he possessed?
He took another step closer to me and made our heads touched. He gripped on my wrist and pulled me closer. His grip was too tight that make me winced in pain.
"Jimin, you're hurting me—" I said but he didn't seem like he cares.
He hit the wall hardly and started to yell back at me. "Why didn't you obey me?! "
"Park Jimin! " someone yelled at him which make him to turn away. It was Uncle Seon.
He looked at us and spotted that Jimin was hurting me. He came to us and pushed Jimin away. "What are you doing? You're hurting Aera! " he scolded him who was stumbled to the floor.
He looked at me to see if I was okay and I hid behind him. Jimin hissed at him and groaned in frustration. He ruffled his hair aggressively and pushed all the things away. He was frightening me with his actions.
"What's happening to him? " I asked in fear.
Jimin kept groaning as he lay his body on the floor, desperately asking Uncle Seon to help him. His body was sweating so badly and it turned to red.
He looked like he was suffering. I wanted to help him too but Uncle Seon stopped me.
"Ask her— to go out now. Please " Jimin said to Uncle Seon as he avoided from doing any eye contact with me. I turned to Uncle Seon and shook my head rapidly, showing that I didn't want to. I needed to stay with him at this moment.
He sighed, "Please Aera. Jimin doesn't want you to see him in this condition. Just go and wait in your room. I'll tell you when everything is fine. "
To be honest, it was so hard for me to leave the room with Jimin acting like that. He made me worried to death. But seeing him wanting me to leave so desperately, I sighed and obeyed them. "Fine. " I said and walked out from his room.

I didn't know what was actually happening but for sure, it is not good. Really.

The next morning, Jimin woke up in the most tiring condition. He felt so weak and exhausted even he had already took a few hours of nap.
He can feel that his neck was hurt. No, his whole body was hurt. He touched his bare back and rubbed it gently.
The morning was quite warm and nice. But it got spoiled by his weak body. The day should be nice for him.
Few minutes later, he found that there was a big scratch on his right arm. It left a quite deep wound on his skin which was not good for him. He knew that the scratches was caused by himself since he went wild last night.
"Damn. Hope it won't leave any scar on my holy skin " he muttered and stood up from his bed, making his way to the bathroom. But then, he spotted that Uncle Seon had leave him a pill to eat.
He sighed and took the pills. "That old man. He always cares about me ".
He put two pills into his mouth and took a few gulps of the water that was served by Uncle Seon. Then, he walked into the bathroom.
After he was done with his business, he decided to go to the dining room so he could have his breakfast. But once he stepped out from his room, he spotted a small figure was sleeping right in front of his room.
He raised his brow and widened his eyes in shocked when he realized that it was Aera. He shook his head and sighed deeply.
He didn't want to wake her up so he called Uncle Seon and asked him to do that while he went to the dining room.
As Aera opened her eyes, she expected to meet Jimin. But when Uncle Seon told her that he was already downstairs, her heart breaks a bit.
So he didn't care about me, she thought
She heaved a deep sigh and made her way downstairs. When she heard some noises from the living room, she knew that Jimin was already there. She didn't want Jimin to see her frowning face. So she forced a smile before walking to the dining table.
"Good morning, Jimin " she approached him with a smile.
Jimin just glanced at her and looked back at his meal. He had nothing to say to her so he just remained silent. Aera lowered her head and sat across Jimin.
She just sat there while watching Jimin eating his food in silence. Jimin somehow noticed her behavior and started feeling uncomfortable by her deep stare. "Eat. " he said but Aera shook her head.
"No. Not until you explain to me what happened to you last night. " she said sternly. She wanted to know what was behind the incident last night. She really wanted to know.
Jimin shook his head and put his sandwich down. "There's nothing for me to say. It's nothing to be with you anyways " he scoffed and wiped his mouth.
"If you're not going to tell me, then I won't eat. " Aera said, still wanting to know the reason. Jimin felt so triggered by her stubborn behavior.
"Then starve yourself! " he said, his voice was higher than before. Aera stood up and copied his standing posture. "If you're not going to tell me, then it's okay. I'll find it out by myself! " she pissed off.
Jimin clenched his jaw madly and they made an eye contact with each other. At the first glance, his eyes looked so fierce and terrifying.
But when Aera took a deeper look into his eyes, she didn't see any anger in it. Instead, she saw something that was seeking for help. His soul.
His dark soul met her light, beautiful soul which make it wanted to go out from his body just to meet hers. His soul was begging for freedom. The freedom that it hadn't feel for a long time.
It wanted love. The love that was in her soul. Her happy, pretty soul has attracted his soul. Jimin's soul wanted to go out from his body and intertwine with her pure soul. But it was trapped in the darkness.
The darkness that Aera could clearly see in his eyes. Aera started feeling that her heart was beating so fast as if it was trying to say something. She held her chest and turned away.
"You— " Aera said as she turned back to look at him. She could still see the light in his eyes were surrounded by darkness. It seemed like an angel who was trapped in demon's soul.
She stepped backwards and turned away. Jimin was confused by her weird actions but he just let her be. Knowing that she couldn't bare the pressure, she ran back to her room.
