《Chaeryeong Imagines (gxg)》kissing in the rain

"I've had a lot of fun today." You told Chaeryeong, staring at her with a smile when she turned her head to look at you. "It's been too long since we've been able to spend some time like this together."
"Same here." She smiled and looked down at your hand that was close to hers, but not quite touching.
With her busy schedule, your time together has been scarce. So when she called last night and told you she had the day off and wanted to spend it with you, you felt butterflies fill your entire chest at the thought.
You've only known each other for the past couple of months. Right now, you're just really close friends, best friends.
Although, you both feel something much stronger, much deeper for each other than what just friends should and it's only becoming more obvious every time you're together.
You looked down where her gaze rested. Her fingers brushed against your own, so close to intertwining with yours until a clap of thunder hit and ruined the moment.
It was so loud and so close that it caused you both to jump and then turn back to stare at each other with wide eyes.
"Is it supposed to rain today?" You asked, to which Chaeryeong shook her head.
"Not that I know of." She mumbled and looked up at the sky that had become a dark grey.
There was a breeze picking up, strong enough to cause the branches on the trees to sway pretty hard.
"It's gonna storm though, for sure. Let's go back to my place. We'll watch a movie."
There was another clap of thunder so you nodded and started to walk a little faster with her. You were getting a little chilly and Chaeryeong instinctively took off her hoodie and pulled it over your head.

"Thank you."
You watched a smile tug at her lips and her eyes light up as she looked you up and down, feeling her heart swell in her chest with love for you.
She was about to speak, but the thunder hit again and this time it was much closer. Followed by the thunder came the rain, which instantly began to pour down on both of you.
You shrieked and she took your hand into hers before she started to run with you. She was careful not to go too fast so neither of you would slip and fall.
She watched the street signs and looked at all the houses around. You were only a block or so away from her house now.
But she turned back to look at you, planning to just steal a quick glance or two, only to feel as though she couldn't look away.
You always manage to take her breath away, but here and now, she can't take her eyes off of you no matter how hard she tries.
She wasn't sure if it was because of the rain pouring down, or your hand in hers, or the fact that you were wearing her hoodie to keep as warm as you possibly could.
But her heart was full of love and she couldn't escape the overwhelming desire to kiss you.
She stopped walking, which took you by surprise. She was staring right at you, a soft and adoring gaze in her eyes as you stepped a little closer to her.
"Are you okay?" You asked and reached over to tuck a lock of hair behind her that was clung to her cheek as the rain continued to pour. "Chaeryeong?"
She took a deep breath and took your hand from her cheek, gently wrapping her fingers around yours.

"There's something I really want to do right now." She whispered. "Something I've been wanting to do from the moment I laid eyes on you."
Although she continued to stare at you with eyes full of stars, you also watched her eyes move to your lips before she'd look back into your eyes again.
You knew where she was going with this and it excited you so much that you wondered if your heart would beat out of your chest.
"Do it." You encouraged and began to lean in.
You closed your eyes as she did the same, and your lips touched only a split second later.
It took her only a couple of seconds before she melted into you. She dropped your hands to move hers to cup your cheeks, brushing her thumbs along your skin as your lips moved in perfect sync with her own and sparks flew all around you, making it the best kiss you've ever had.
She refused to be the first to pull away and you only pulled back from her lips when you had no choice and needed a second to breathe.
You stayed close to her lips, though. So close that your breath fanned against her lips, causing them to tug into a bright smile on her face; the one you love so much.
"You're beautiful." You spoke softly as you stared deeply into her eyes.
"Not as beautiful as you are." She smiled and kissed you once more. "Come on, let's hurry to my place. You're shivering."
"But," you tried to say, not wanting this special moment with her to end, only for her to interrupt you with a kiss.
"Trust me...baby," she paused and watched you smile. "This moment is far from over. I just want you to get warm first. Don't want you to get sick."
You nodded and she pecked your cheek before taking your hand back into hers and hurrying back to her house, where she let you wear one of her sweaters and curled up in her bed, planning to watch movies, only to kiss some more instead.

Now some warnings; I am new to this, I don't have much experience so I'm trying to get some by writing this. So I don't stress myself out this will be a relatively short story but I don't know. Also this is sort of the beginning of my world, if this works out and I decide to write more I would love to keep it in this world. My grammar isn't perfect, if anything it's one of the things i struggle with. I don't have a release schedule, but I usualllt release as soon as i'm done with a chapter. Also I would really appreciate it if you can point out my mistakes, I can't learn if i don't know what i'm doing wrong.
