Hyeme was feeling a bit uneasy during the whole ride to the amusement park. She didn't want to face Taehyun after that but she couldn't.
On the other hand, Taehyun wasn't liking that Hyeme was ignoring him because of what happened earlier.
The three of them got out of the car and suddenly Ara started running.
"Uncle Soobin!"
She said as she ran towards the tall male who was with Lia.
"Ara!"
Soobin said as he smiled and picked her up. Lia pinched her cheeks to which Ara giggled.
"Soobin uncle! Dad came back!"
Ara said while pointing at Taehyun who was beside Hyeme.
Soobin gave Taehyun a suspicious gaze and then he stated, "But he's not your d-"
"That's really nice Ara!"
Lia said cutting Soobin's words in order to not hurt Ara but Soobin was still glaring at Taehyun which made Hyeme even more worried.
Taehyun and Hyeme were distracted by a phone call, it was Taehyun's phone, he excused himself and went to another place to talk.
As Soobin saw Taehyun going he went towards Hyeme with suspicious look as Lia followed him.
"I should go with Ara to get some ice cream, right Ara?"
Lia said as she leaned down to Ara as Ara jumped excitedly and went with Lia. Now Soobin was alone with Hyeme and he was glaring at her.
"Who was that Hyeme?"
Soobin asked her and Hyeme was already feeling that he was angry.
"T-That's my b-boss"
Hyeme stuttered.
"Oh really? What's his name?"
Soobin asked her again.
"Kang Taehyun"
Before Hyeme could speak anything, they both heard someone's voice. It was none other than Taehyun himself.
Soobin turned towards Taehyun and Taehyun was looking at him confidently.

"So Mr Kang Taehyun, may I know why did you call yourself my niece's father?"
Soobin looked at Taehyun with cold expressions.
"She was crying, I didn't want to see her cry so I told her that I'm her father, is that a problem?"
Taehyun stated to which Soobin held him by his collar but Taehyun didn't even startle.
"Leave him Soobin!"
Hyeme said as she tried to get both of them apart but Taehyun signaled her to stop.
"Stay away from my sister and my niece."
Soobin said but suddenly the three of them heard a voice, "Mom, Dad, Soobin uncle!"
It was Ara who was smiling at them holding balloons. Soobin loosened his grip on Taehyun's collar when he saw Ara alone. Hyeme noticed Lia's absence too.
Taehyun suddenly ran towards Ara and lifted her up. Suddenly, a huge piece of wood fell on the place where Ara was standing earlier.
Hyeme's heartbeat stopped for a moment when she saw the huge wood on the ground which was shattered and Taehyun was embracing her.
"Ara!"
Hyeme ran towards Ara while crying, Ara who was clueless was getting worried seeing her mother crying.
"What happened mom?"
Ara said as she wiped tears off Hyeme's face with her tiny hands. Hyeme smiled at Ara and kissed on her hand.
Soon they saw Lia who looked worried and was crying. As soon as she saw Ara, she sat down on the ground as Soobin held her.
"I'm so sorry Hyeme, I didn't realize when Ara left my hand."
Lia cried and Hyeme nodded in response.
"It's okay Lia."
Hyeme spoke.
"I should get going now sir, thank you for saving my daughter, it means a lot to me!"
Hyeme spoke as she was about to go until Taehyun spoke, "What do you mean? She's my daughter too."
Hyeme stopped for a while after hearing what Taehyun said. Her heart started racing and her cheeks reddened but she didn't dare to turn around instead, she casually spoke, "Good evening" and left.
Soobin who was watching the whole scene went towards Taehyun and patted on his shoulder. “I'm Sorry Taehyun”
He spoke as Taehyun smiled in response.
And soon after, Soobin left and Taehyun was still standing there until they disappeared from his sight.
“I don't know what is this feeling, it feels like I've known her for years.”
