(Chaeryeong POV)

Y/n is still staring at me, I think this is probably the longest she's ever done this.

I clear my throat and hesitantly look away as I hear her laugh at my reaction.

"Why are you laughing?"

Y/n shakes her head as she smiles, "like I said, you're adorable. And I love that about you." Y/n turns around.

I open my mouth to speak but I was cut off as the door opened, revealing our teacher for our next lesson.

"Seats everyone!" He announces, "Right! Let's begin shall we?"

The last two lessons of the day passed by quickly, thank god for that.

I tidy my desk and pack up my things, putting my study notes and books into my bag as I zip it up.

"Chaery?" I hear Y/n call my name.

I look up from my bag to see her standing quite close in front of me.

I step back slightly, taken aback by how close she is.

She chuckles then gently holds my hand pulling my closer, "want to walk home with me?"

I blink a few times before responding, "yeah sure.." I pause, "but what about Ryujin and Yuna?" I ask.

"They've got the sports club thing remember?" Y/n says.

"Oh, it's started already?" I reply.

She shakes her head, "no, Ryujin just said that they needed a meeting after school to discuss it."

"Oh okay, well in that case, yes I will walk home with you." I smile at her.

After Y/n had dropped me off at the Itzy dorms, I decided to go visit my family so I travelled home and opened the door.

Hearing the tv as I walk through I see my mum sitting on the couch watching a reality show.

"Oh Chaeryeong-ah, you're here." My mum gets up and hugs me tightly.

I hug her back and smile, "it's nice to be back here."

"It always is, oh. You're unnie Chaeyeon is here too, go say hi to her aswell." She smiles brightly as I go upstairs.

I see my sisters door closed so I decide to knock on it, "unnie?"

The door opens and I see her standing there as she smiles at me.

"Chaeryeongie!" She smiles brightly pulling me into a comforting embrace.

I hug her back and reply, "unnie it's been so long."

She lets go of me and nods, "come in, we need to catch up." She pulls me into her room and we both sit on the bed.

"So my beloved sister, has anything happened on your first day back?" Chaeyeon looks at me.

"Yup." I nod.

"Already?" She asks surprised.

I go to tell her everything that had happened today, including every detail as she continues to pay attention to what I'm saying.

"And that's everything." I sigh.

"So that Minjun guy won't give up on Y/n?" Chaeyeon unnie says.

"Yeah.. And is annoying because y'know, I--"

"You like Y/n, I know that." Chaeyeon unnie cuts me off.

"Yeah.. That." I say slowly.

"Wow." She sighs, "hopefully he isn't one of those stalker kind of people."

"I would hate for that to happen." I shake my head.

(Next Morning At School)

"Chaeryeong-ah!" I hear my name being called as I walk down the corridor.

I turn around to see Ryujin and Y/n with eachother.

"Oh? When did you guys get here?" I stop walking and wait for them to get closer.

"Like 20 minutes ago?" Y/n replies.

"Anyways, let's go stay at your class." Ryujin says grabbing both of Y/ns and my hand bringing us to our class.

We sit in our seats apart from Ryujin who had taken a empty chair sitting next to us.

Y/n was about to speak before we heard someone call her name.

"Y/n!"

We all turn to the door to see that boy once again, Minjun. God, will he ever get enough of Y/n? She's made it clear that she doesn't like him.

"Are you kidding me?" I hear Y/n whisper to herself as she rolls her eyes.

He approaches us with a smile on his face, "hey. How are you guys doing?"

"Fine, it's the morning so yeah.." Y/n says slowly.

I watch as Ryujin looks at Y/ns expression then Ryujin speaks up.

"Minjun, we were kind of in the middle of something private. Do you mind?" She states.

"Oh? I'm bothering you guys?" He says hesitantly.

"Yes. Yes you are." Ryujin replies firmly.

"I- I guess I should leave then.." He says, "bye Y/n.." He walks away slowly, we all watch as he exits the classroom.

As soon as he leaves Y/n puts her head on the table and sighs.

"God he's so annoying. Thank you for that." I can hear the frustration in her voice.

"He really won't leave you alone." I say and Y/n nods in agreement as she lift her head up.

"I need to go, class is about to start." Ryujin says getting up, we wave good bye at her just in time as our teacher walks in.

"Good morning everyone!" Our teacher greets us, "it's the morning and I know you're tired but let's get started."

The first two lessons seemed like they wouldn't end, they just kept on going and going, I felt like I was going to fall asleep.

I go to my locker to put my stuff away as I begin to close it I hear rushed footsteps getting closer to me in the corridor as I feel someone push me against my locker.

"Chaery just stay here for a bit please." It's Y/n, she holds me close as she hides her face against my neck.

"W-why? What's wrong?" I stutter.

She whispers against my skin, "I'll tell you after just stay like this for a bit." Y/n says.

I hold her close as I see Minjun and his friends walking down the corridor. Luckily they don't realise that I'm here, I now understand Y/n.

Once they walk further away from us I tap Y/n on the shoulder as I say, "they're gone Y/n.."

She tightens her grip around my waist as I feel her shake her head.

"Y/n they're gone, you can let go." I say reassuring her.

I watch as she hesitantly moves away from my neck as she looks at me, her cheeks flushed red as she makes eye contact with me.

"Are you okay? Your cheeks the--"

"I- I'm fine.." She clears her throat before looking away from me.

Y/n lets go of me and steps away, "thank you.. Again, Chaery." She says slowly avoiding my eyes.

"You two, what did I just see~" I hear a familiar voice approach us.

I turn to see Ryujin with a wide smile on her face as Yuna follows behind her.

"You unnies should just be together already." Yuna sighs as they stop in front of us.

"I don't think--" I get cut off by Yuna as she continues.

"They would look cute together, right Ryujin unnie?" Yuna looks at Ryujin nodding in agreement.

"So what you're both saying is that I should date Chaeryeong?" Y/n says calmly.

"Yep!" Ryujin and Yuna both say happily.

I turn to look at Y/n to see she's already staring at me, I quickly turn away from her as I her Ryujin and Yuna tease me.

"Ooh Chaeryeong unnie~ you're blushing!" Yuna teases.

I furrow my eyebrows and look towards the ground, "no I'm not!"

"Then why won't you look at Y/n?" Ryujin says.

"Yeah Chaery, why won't you look at me?"
