《COME TO ME | PJM》Chapter 95

Jimin's heart felt uneasy, maybe because of all the mixed feelings he was experiencing at this moment. Anxiety, anger, and worry didn't even begin to cover all the thoughts that were running through his mind. Sitting there and seeing Y/N sick and not being able to do anything about it only made his anxiousness worse.
He ran his thumb over Y/N's soft lips lightly, thinking about what he should do to erase the mark of another man's lips on hers.
Jimin sighed, leaning forward and resting his head lightly on Y/N's chest. He noticed how easily his feelings were influenced by this woman; rising and falling like the gentle movements of her chest as she breathed in and out. Jimin had always been used to being completely in control of himself and his emotions; he didn't like how exposed he felt around her.
"Y/N, I really hate how easily you can control me." Jimin closed his eyes and listened to Y/N's slow and steady heartbeat.
Jimin spent the night monitoring Y/N's temperature and regularly changing her towel. By early morning she was no longer burning hot to the touch. Jimin looked out the window; it was no longer snowing and the sunrise was just barely visible. Seeing that Y/N would be alright for now, Jimin leant back on his chair and closed his tired eyes, quickly drifting into a light sleep.
By the time Jimin woke up, it was already bright out. He pulled out his phone to check the time; it was just nearing 8am. He heard the sound of a light knock on the door before it opened, and Krystal peered her head into the room.
"How is she?" Krystal whispered, quietly making her way to Y/N's side.
"Better." Jimin replied as Krystal placed the back of her hand against Y/N's forehead. Krystal exhaled in relief. "Definitely much better than last night... She really scared me."
"I think it's safe to head down now, it's a lot warmer now than it was yesterday." Krystal smiled. "Do you think we should wake Y/N up or just carry her down to the car?"
"I'll carry her, she should sleep as long as she can." Jimin nodded, turning to Y/N to prepare to leave.
As Jimin pulled the blanket away from Y/N's body, he got a full glance of the outfit that she was currently wearing. He hadn't seen this coat before, and seeing how big it looked on her Jimin immediately assumed that it was Jungkook's coat that was on her right now. Jimin immediately frowned and started to lightly pull Y/N's arm's out of the coat, removing it and throwing it onto the ground. Krystal watched from the side; she didn't know whether to laugh or cry. This man was really quite terrifying in many ways.
Krystal shook her head and picked up Jungkook's coat from the floor, passing it back to Jimin. "It's still cold outside, I think it's better to cover her with this."
Jimin looked at the coat in disgust. "There's no need." He turned away from Krystal and picked up Y/N's shoes, slipping them onto her feet.
"Park Jimin, you really are..." Krystal sighed in defeat. She knew some men could be quite petty when it came to jealousy, so she decided to let it go. Krystal took off her own blue coat instead. "Use this then. It's mine so it's okay right? Y/N is still sick."

Jimin eyed the coat for a moment then looked back at Krystal. She wasn't wearing much herself and he supposed that she would be cold if she didn't wear her coat. "You should wear it."
Krystal opened her mouth to complain, but Jimin took off his coat and helped Y/N wear it instead. She wore her coat and went out of the room to pass Jungkook his coat back.
Jimin helped Y/N sit upright before lifting her onto his back. Y/N stirred slightly with the movement, narrowly opening her eyes.
Y/N felt herself pressed onto someone's firm back. It was much broader than a female's so she assumed that it must be Jungkook carrying her right now.
"Jungkook?..." Y/N croaked, her voice slightly hoarse.
Jimin just barely stopped himself from turning around to look at Y/N. It probably wasn't a good idea to let her see his face just yet. Even though he hadn't seen his injuries yet, he figured it probably didn't look great either.
It would probably be better just to let her think that he was Jungkook for now since he wasn't sure how comfortable she would be being on his back right now, especially since they still weren't on the best of terms.
"Y/N, i'm going to take you home now so just go back to sleep alright?" Jimin whispered, trying not to give away his identity. Y/N was still very much only half conscious, and she wasn't able to tell the difference between voices right now. She felt slightly embarrassed about letting Jungkook carry her and wanted to get down and walk on her own, but she still felt sleepy and rather drained so she complied and quietly drifted off to sleep again.
Jimin exited the room to where Krystal and Jungkook were waiting. The two sat on the sofa quietly. Jungkook looked like he didn't get much sleep last night either. In Jimin's head, honestly, he looked like shit. If his depressed expression and dark panda eyes didn't cover it, the injuries on his face were the icing on the cake.
Jungkook frowned, seeing Y/N resting comfortably on Jimin's back, but he only observed her quietly as he felt that he didn't have the right to ask how she was.
The three thanked the house owner for her patronage before heading outside for their walk down to their cars. The house owner felt rather concerned about the fact that the two men were leaving injured when they originally weren't, but she decided to just stay silent.
It was still rather cold outside, but compared to last night this was considered bearable. Jimin walked in front, while Krystal and Jungkook followed closely behind in case there were any problems going downhill. They walked in silence until they eventually reached the car park, where they noticed that all their cars were buried under a rather thick layer of fluffy snow.
There was a small covered seating area in the carpark, and Jimin looked towards Krystal for help. Krystal sat down on the bench while Jimin lowered Y/N next to her.
"Please support her for a bit."
Krystal nodded, letting the sleeping Y/N lean on her shoulder while Jimin walked towards his car.
Jimin started scraping away the snow on his car until he was able to open his door and get inside. He then turned on the defroster and the heater and waited for the remaining ice and snow to melt off and clear up enough so that it was safe to drive.

Jimin returned to the bench and nodded at Krystal, who helped him lift Y/N into his arms. The two walked to Jimin's car, and Krystal opened the passenger door so Jimin could gently lower Y/N into the chair. He reached over to buckle Y/N's seatbelt before closing the door.
"Thank you, I'll take her home now."
Krystal smiled. "Tell Y/N to message me when she feels well enough again."
Jimin nodded before getting into his car and pulling out of the car park, heading back down the mountain road again. Jungkook stood next to Krystal and watched as the car drove away, still not evading his eyes even when it disappeared out of view.
Krystal frowned and pulled Jungkook's arm. "Don't worry, she will be okay. Just go home. everyone is looking for you right now, okay? You should be there to send your grandma off..."
Jungkook lowered his eyes, but still didn't say anything.
-------
By the time Y/N was awake, it was already 3PM. Her eyes fluttered open, focusing on a little face that watched her carefully, his eyes full of worry. Y/N sighed, and reached out to lightly stroke Joon Min's plump cheek with the back of her finger. "Joonie, Mommy is sick and it might be contagious... I don't want to pass it onto you, so why don't you go down and look for Auntie Wang?"
Joon Min pouted, showing no intention to leave Y/N's side. "Mom, grandma said you are okay now and that I could see you..." He reached over to place his small palm on Y/N's forehead, while placing his other hand on his. "See, it's the same temperature now!" He beamed proudly.
Y/N chuckled weakly and ruffled Joon Min's hair. She pressed the back of her hand against her forehead; her fever was indeed gone, but she felt like her body was still quite sore. She felt rather weak, and struggled to push herself up onto a seating position. All she could remember last night was heading down the mountain and staying at someone's house. Y/N also barely recalled being carried on Jungkook's back this morning.
Joon Min rested his cheek against Y/N's lap, looking up at her with a smile. "Mom, Sarang and her mom were here earlier."
"Really?"
"Yes! She brought some freshly baked cake... Should I bring some to you Mom?"
Y/N smiled and cupped Joon Min's cheek in her hand. "No thank you Joonie, I'll come down and have some later... Why don't you go and have some first?"
"Okay Mom." Joon Min nodded excitedly, before rushing out the door.
Y/N looked towards the bedside table, relieved to see her phone there. She grabbed it and dialed Krystal.
"Y/N, How are you feeling? I just thought about going over to see you."
"I just woke up and it's okay. I'm feeling a little sore but it's nothing serious. Oh, and thank you for sending me home. I better call Jungkook and thank him for carrying me as well."
Krystal was silent for a moment. "No... It was Jimin, he looked for you last night and we went back in the morning." She paused: "Have you seen him since you woke up? Is he okay?"
Y/N ws silent for a moment. 'It was Jimin that took me home? Not Jungkook? Also what does Krystal mean?' she frowned.
"Did something happen to Jimin? What do you mean is he okay?" Y/N raised an eyebrow, unable to remember a thing. "I haven't seen him yet, I suppose he's in the office? Did something happen last night?"
Krystal was considering whether or not to tell Y/N about the unfortunate events that unfolded while she was unconscious. She figured that it may be awkward for her to see Jimin if she knew, so she decided to keep quiet and let Y/N find out from Jimin himself, if he decided to tell her.
"It's nothing, really. You should get some rest." Krystal replied reassuringly.
"Okay." Y/N nodded. "Do you know when the funeral is for Jungkook's grandmother?"
"It is tomorrow, just go get some rest so you can attend it okay?"
"Okay."
Y/N was about to call Jungkook and ask about his condition, but thinking about how busy he would be to accompany his grandmother, she also didn't want to bother him, so she decided not to.
She put down her phone as someone knocked the door. Grandmother entered the room with a maid who brought some dishes for her.
"Grandma."
Grandma smiled and nodded: "I just heard from Joonie that you had woken. You must be hungry after not eating anything. I had them cook some soup for you and some dessert, just eat it okay?"
Although she didn't have an appetite, she knew she should at least eat something so she could get better quicker.
Grandma sat beside her as she was eating her food. "Y/N, what happened between you and Jimin? Are you guys having a fight?"
Yesterday she felt that there was something wrong, although Jimin continuously asked her about her whereabouts.
"Everything is okay, Grandma."
"Y/N, I may be old, and my eyesight is not as great as it used to be, but I like to think my brain still works perfectly fine." Grandma frowned. "Tell me child, what's going on?"
Y/N shook her head. "It's nothing really. I'm not angry."
Grandma noticed her unwillingness to say more, so she didn't want to force her. She sighed. "Y/N, I wish nothing but the best for you two. But I can see that he's continuously changing, he was incredibly worried when he couldn't reach your phone last night. So he immediately left to look for you."
"So, Y/N..." Grandma patted her back soothingly. "You'll want to think about it carefully... Whatever it is that is bothering you."
"I will, Grandma..."
Since we can't get a photo of Y/N on Jimin's back, here's one of Jimin on Jungkook's back.
