5 years in the future

Casper Flux woke to the sound of a phone. The ringing echoed through his small house like a blowing ball going through pins. The line read, Police Department, it had been a long time since he had received one of these calls. It was 7:30 according to his clock and this made him more anxious. He picked up the ringing phone and said a quiet,"Hello" into the receiver. On the other line Dawson Lecove sounded nervous,"Hey, we need you down here ASAP like we got a murder and it's by Thoth." This all came out in a jumble of words. It took Casper a moment to comprehend but when he did he said into the phone,"I'll be right over." It took Casper about an hour to reach Scotland Yard but when he did he was greeted with glum looks. He walked into a wooden room with a fancy desk and leather chair. The chair was occupied by Dawson Lecove who looked up as he walked in.

"Sir please Mr.Flux sit. As the best detective I know I am begging you to help me out here. I am truly out of depth here. This man Thoth has returned."

"Lecove we knew this man was at large, we were just waiting until he struck again so we could pounce how did he come back?,"said Casper.

"Well it isn't exactly how he came back, more of who he killed. Raz your friend who took a dive off the mountain five years ago, was just murdered a half hour ago."
