Eren had decided to distance himself from you since he was starting to become a bit emotionally attracted to you. He figured being away from you for a while would make him lose some interest so he can continue with the wager as well. He was starting not care about it but Connie & Jean kept pressing him & Eren didn't like feeling out of control.

You would catch glimpses of Eren in class, between periods & around Amora. If you guys ever had to to talk, it was general conversation. Although you'd never admit it, you wished Eren would go back to being the same boy from the fair. His vibe was so raw & now you could tell he was blocking a side of him that was flowing out last weekend.

It hurt a little & your overthinking was subtly convincing you it was something you said. But if Eren wanted to go back to being his well-known fuckboy act you would do you & keep it pushing.

Zion was rolling up while you & Nova talked about an upcoming volleyball game in the backseat of his car. Malakai's football practice ran longer than all the other sports because of a game on Friday. Zi always dropped yall off after practice so you three decided to spark up while waiting on Kai.

Zion rolled a perfect pearl & the three of you passed the joint at least 3 rounds. You were taking big ass inhales though, you wanted to be free for once, without a bunch of thoughts swirling in your head. After a few more hits, the gas started hitting while Nova & Zi were well on their way to getting to your level.

"Okay N/N, I've been tryna mind my business but I really wanna know what happened on you & Amora's double date." Nova vented.

"Nah forreal, niggas is bored." Zion backed up Nova.

You planned on giving them a vague explanation but you were already high enough to start being dumb. You told them everything, from the flirting at the fair to the gift he won for you, even your feelings. Nova & Zion listened & didn't speak until you were done.

"I say fuck that bitch ass nigga" Zion shrugged.

"Exactly, your fun, smart, cute if he don't want

you onto the next!" Nova exclaimed.

"Y'know what? You're right I'll fuck with his friend, Connie? Yeah he's fine." You babbled.

Nova turned her head to you with a stank look. "Oh, nah girl I want that one, but stay safe!"

You all laughed & moved to next conversation. Kai said his practice ran for an extra 15 minutes so Zion took y'all to get some McDonalds.

Eren, Malakai & Connie were sitting on the football field, utterly drained after a long practice. Coach worked them extra hard since the game tomorrow was against the 2nd-placed football team in the county. This game would solidify their #1 spot.

Kai was laying on his back while Eren was chugging on water. Connie was laid on his stomach resting on his forearms, trying to recover from the torture he endured.

"Aye Eren, how was your date with Y/N?" Kai asked. Eren side eyed Kai & set his water bottle down.

"Uh, it was chill she's cool & shit." Eren shrugged. Connie snickered & Eren whipped his head towards him.

"This man had the time of his life with Y/N, I don't know why he tryna act nonchalant." Connie blurted out before going back to resting. Eren stared down at Connie before turning back to Kai.

"So you feelin' her or what?" Kai asked bluntly. Eren's eyes widened & he laughed awkwardly.

"She's cool like I said, uh-"

"So that's a yes." Kai cut him off. Eren facepalmed.

"Ok, I know you been through some shit that made you hate commitment but, Y/N is a genuine girl & she's real with you if you're real with her." Kai assured Eren. It was clear that Eren was taking Kai's word into account. But he still didn't wanna show vulnerability for his own personal reasons. Kai took Eren's silence as hesitation & sighed.

"Bruh, just tell her to come to the game & bring her friends then you can talk to her we'll cover you." Connie sucked his teeth.

"Yeah during half-time you can speak with her, but don't fuck it up." Kai told Eren firmly.

Eren nodded & decided he would take that chance to talk with you & really figure out how he felt about you.

You decided to spend the night at Nova's house because you didn't feel like dealing with your parents while you were high. Nova's mom worked nights so y'all would be safe. You laid the couch Nova had in her room while she was

getting her siblings ready for bed.

You were about to take your ass to bed until you heard a call from your phone. You shot up seeing 'eren' at the top. You laid back down on your side before answering the facetime call.

"Yooo," Eren greeted.

"Hey..." You dragged out with a confused tone.

"Uh, I wanted to see if you going to game tomorrow."

"Why..?"

A short silence settled before Eren spoke up again.

"You don't wanna support Malakai?" Eren tried to make up an excuse. You knew this wasn't 'bout Kai so you decided to play dumb & pull out the truth.

"Well if Kai wanted me to go, he'd tell me." You responded. Eren let out a sigh. He mumbled something that you couldn't comprehend.

"Come again?" You hummed.

"I want you to come so I can talk to you!" Eren said loud & clearly. You peeked your head into the camera with a shocked look on your face. Eren sucked his teeth & looked away.

"Okay, I guess I'll pop out since you wanna see me so bad," You snickered. Eren popped back into the camera with an open jaw.

"Alright you draggin' it, c'mon n-" You hung up & giggled at Eren's defensiveness. You were swiftly flooded with messages from Eren's denies & clarifications. You shook your head & wrote back 'don't make excuses, yk you want me'.

Three dots repeated until Eren finally wrote back 'if i want you, i'll have you.'

You were left speechless & you shut off your phone. He'll have you? The sentence rang in your head over & over before you fell asleep.
