With his heart beating at a abnormal speed, Jungkook finally reached his father's house.
He was really worried about his father. It was a rare disease that his father had. Nobody in the wolf kind ever faced with that disease. But, Jungkook didn't know about the long history about wolves even when he was wolf himself.
"What happened?"Jungkook exclaimed when he saw Namjoon checking on his unconscious father.
"Dad!"Jungkook reached his father in a second and sat beside his father.
Everybody in that room was silent. Nobody said anything.
"Namjoon, tell me what happened to dad!"Jungkook ordered even when he was pleading. He already lost his twin brother and his mother. He couldn't handle anything happening to his father.
" He became unconscious suddenly. He is very weak now. I already gave him medicine but I can't tell what it is. Jungkook,I tried my best. I did my research but I couldn't find out anything" Namjoon explained. His gaze was on the floor because he was ashamed of his failure that he couldn't help his Alpha.
"WHY! AREN'T YOU THE DOCTOR, THE SMARTEST THEN WHY YOU CAN'T"Jungkook yelled at the top of his lung making everyone presented in the room flinched.
"You have to calm down, jungkook. Hyung is trying his best and I'm sure he will definitely find out something. Nothing will happen to Aplha"Jimin tried his best to reassure his friend but that boy was too afraid that he couldn't believe words, he needed action.
"Do something, please hyung."Jungkook's voice cracked mid sentence. He was showing his weakness which he promised he would never show to anyone.
Jungkook gripped his own hair n yanked it being frustrated.
"Do something. Save him"Jungkook started ranting the last sentence again and again.
Jimin back hugged his best friend. Soon , Jungkook turned around and hugged him as like his life depended on it. He needed some reassurance, he needed some warmth, some protection.

"I think we should call an elder."Namjoon suggested when two best friends broke their much needed hug.
"Elder?"Jimin asked.
"Yes, elder. Kang Seojoon , my mentor. He is the best in werewolf medical field. Im nothing compared to him. He knows everything so I think he can help"
"Do it, call him now. Just do whatever it takes to save my father"
Namjoon nodded and called his elder.
*************
On the other hand ,Taehyung was wondering what happened that Jungkook left him alone again.
Now that he knew Jungkook wasn't a Mafia boss or member so he thought it wasn't about crime but it was surely about some wolf thing that he didn't want to know. Jungkook already told him enough.
Taehyung was bored so he started playing games on his phone but having no internet connection he couldn't play any good ones but still he got something to pass boring time.
Taehyung flinched when he heard someone slamming the door hard.
"Sorry! Didn't mean to scare you"Jungkook gave a closed mouth smile.
"Where did you go?you know how boring it's for me to be here ,all alone"Taehyung huffed.
"Taehyung I need to tell you something "
Taehyung snapped his attention to Jungkook hearing his serious tone.
"Yeah?"
Jungkook took some dramtic steps to bed where Taehyung was sitting and took a seat beside him.
Jungkook behaved like a scared puppy which confused Taehyung.
Jungkook was slightly sweating, showing obvious sign of nervousness.
"What happened? Why you are so worried?
Jungkook gulped before taking.
"Tae, let's m-mark"Jungkook finally stated his words.
It took Taehyung by surprise. Some hours before Jungkook told him he would wait for him forever. So, what happened in those hours that he changed his mind.
"I....... w-what?"
"Don't freak out , please. I know, I said I will wait till you are ready but something happened and my position and my pack is at risk. So, we have to be mated soon." Jungkook was still gulping and he was talking very slowly as if it would scare his mate if he raised his voice a little.

Taehyung thought indeed Jungkook was serious but he didn't want to take steps so quickly. He was still accepting the fact that Jungkook wasn't a normal human and even he was jungkook's mate too.
"Don't you think it's too early for me?"Taehyung raised an eyebrow and stared at Jungkook for confirming.
Jungkook was about to snap at the boy but he controlled himself. He knew Taehyung didn't know anything but it was serious. So, he decided to tell everything to Taehyung.
"Is he alright now?"Taehyung asked worry and sympathy accompanying his tone.
"Yeah, kinda. But there is more to the story"
"What ?"Jungkook asked when his main worrior Yoongi and Hoseok entered his room where he was discussing about his father's health with Jimin and namjoon , worried mask plastered on their faces.
"Why you guys look so worried?"Jimin asked going near his mate.
"Our rival pack, night shadow got a strike against us"Yoongi stated.
"Stop talking in riddle and spill it out"Jungkook ordered.
"The news of Alpha being ill spread into the whole pack as well as into the rival pack. As you didn't mated to your mate yet they got the strike. They think now our pack is Alpha less. "Yoongi informed.
"Now that Alpha is sick and you are not Alpha yet, they are right
They will convince the council and make a plot against us. It won't be good for us. So, you have to be mated with Taehyung as soon as possible."
Jungkook tensed upon hearing this. He didn't know how to convince Taehyung to be mated with him when his human mate wasn't ready yet.
"So that's why you want us to be mated?!"Taehyung asked more like confirmed.
"So? w-will you help me "Jungkook's tone was pleading. He was also craving for marking Taehyung for so long. But now, it wasn't just his lust, it was also the matter of his father's life.
"I -I "
Jungkook just hoped he would say yes.
"I-Im not sure."
Jungkook sighed.
Jungkook grabbed Taehyung's hand and kneel at floor before him.
"I assure you, it will be ok, I will make sure you won't get hurt, please"
"O-Okay"
Taehyung just couldn't deny Jungkook's pleading anymore.

The Chronicles of Artharian Dagworth
Back in 2020 there were many theories on how the world would end. From the many religions apocalypses, nuclear wars that would leave the planet inhabitable, global warming doing the same, biological weapons getting out of control, viruses mutating into unstoppable diseases to the dead raising to prey on humanity, either due to a virus or just because hell filled up. Also, aliens, from the war mongering kind to the ones so advanced they didn’t see us as more than worms. And of course there was the fail proof theory that the world would end when the sun died. In a bunch of billion years give or take. Althougth some new scientist were discussing if the end would be on the take side, since when the sun started dying things would go haywire on the entire solar system and we would collide with mercury or maybe mars way before the expanding sun engulfed earth. But I digress… Now, those were the mainstream theories that the everyday Joe, who didn’t know the big secret, worried about. So, if you were to ask me which theory was correct I can tell you that I haven’t seen any little green man, at least not from another planet, and so far the sun is still shining, although it’s been only 9 years since everything went to hell, not the few billions (give or take) the scientist predicted, so that one isn’t ruled out yet. These two aside, I'd say all of them. Hey everyone, this is my first attempt at writing. I have been planning to do it for a really long time, and while this is not the one epic fantasy idea I ever wanted to write, I think it's a good one. The plan is to write an end of the world urban-fantasy series. Think a world like Dresden Files, Alex Verus, Iron druid, where magic is real but exist hidden from society meets the apocalypse. It will be written in first person in the Dresden Files style, no plans for other POV for now. As you probally alredy guessed from my style, english is not my first langague, so while google corrector helps, expect grammar errors, and I'd be gratefull for anyone to point them. I plan to write 2 to 3 chapters a week, 2000-4000 words each. Might change as I get more experience and depends on my free time. Cover image from the colections of getwallpapers.com

In Pursuit of Bark's Finest
On the frontiers of transhumanity’s expansion into the galaxy thousands of light years from the light of Sol, things can get rather chaotic. There are countless millions of nascent interstellar nations securing their interests, pirate ships prospering off plunder and deniable mercenary work, dissidents setting up their own civilizations, and other groups all trying to push an agenda. When these groups crash into each other, the results can become extremely messy and convoluted. Recently, a frontier nation calling itself the Red Star Union has found itself at the focal point of one such complication. A freighter under their protection has been sabotaged, hijacked in interstellar space, and robbed of its cargo. This would be bad enough even if all it were carrying was luxury goods, but the freighter Nebula Plow was carrying more than just normal trade goods. Indeed, her cargo of Non-Orientable Wormholes for use in starship power plants was both very expensive and very, very dangerous. Now the Red Star Union has to worry about a pirate crew running around with several extra devices capable of converting matter into antimatter with negligible energy cost. With those, the pirates could be capable of inflicting untold damage if allowed to leverage their ill-gotten gains into a stronger position, a possibility the Union finds completely intolerable. Unfortunately, all that the Red Star Union has to go on for evidence is two names; that of the captain, and that of the ship. The Captain is going by the possible pseudonym of Fuller, while the ship is named Bark’s Finest. And thus the orders came down to the Union’s Bureau of Starforce Intelligence: find more information on these pirates, conclusively identify them, and figure out where exactly they’ve gone to ground so that the fleet can crush them before they get established. Of the many agents that the bureau assigned to this mission, one would happen to play an important role: Field Agent Madeline Zargosty. This is her story. This story is entirely pre-written, and will have one chapter released per week. If you want to read it all ahead of schedule and get access to some premium-exclusive bonus content, the entire book is available for purchase; links to the appropriate storefront pages will be posted at the end of each chapter. This story is also being posted to Scribblehub.
