《Aphonic (Reincarnated into Otome Game BL)》1
Advertisement
I want to curse out anyone who gets reincarnated as a person they know will die in the future and complain about it. At least they know how to avoid it! But I don't and may end up playing right into the hands of death!
First things first, I have to write down EVERYTHING I remember about the game. I need to contain every bit of information I can because I'll eventually forget the smaller details in the future.
Fortunately, I have a spare journal I kept empty.
[Year of the Maiden]
It spans over a year of in-game time.
The MC can be either a boy or a girl.
There are two villains and two villainesses. Each one has a female capture target and one male target route.
(Ordered from hardest to easiest)
Damn, I don't remember all of the names! Hopefully, I'll be able to figure it out in the future.
The MC can romance any capture target regardless of gender, but two capture targets of the same gender will be twice as hard to get compared to if you were the opposite gender.
If the MC is a male, Knox & ??? will be twice as hard to get.
If the MC is a female, ??? and Alice will be twice as hard to get.
There is no set name for MC since both last and first name or changeable. However, the default name is Lillith/Levi ???. I don't know if the MC will go by one of those names and I forgot the default last name.
The MC is the only son/daughter of an Earl in the country Efluya.
The game takes place at Preston Academy, the most prestigous academy in Efluya.
Efluya is the neutral territory separating Aplana and Fascus, beastfolk and humans can coexist here.
Aplana is where I currently am and is ruled by King Walton. Beastfolk hardly ever come to Aplana because they are looked down upon, but beastfolk do trade here, hiding their animal characteristics with a special magic potion.

Fascus is where my mother- now Queen Edith- rules with King Blake. Humans and beasts are quite friendly to each other here and coexist comfortably. It's also the country that takes down Aplana, killing every member of the Marlowe royal family except for Knox if you're on his route and save him.
Wait a second... I must've been killed then! If Queen Edith had taken me, there's a good chance it would've been included. So I guess I'm killed in the midst of the chaos, or maybe even sooner.
Anyway, magic does exist here and so do mythical creatures like dragons. There are many types of magic and the levels of rarity
A human usually has 1-3 magic types, any more is extremely rare. Beastfolk, however, usually has 2-4 magic types.
There are many types of beastfolk, the most common ones being:
Beastfolk usually have more magic and are more adaptable than humans. Beastfolk have greater speed, strength, agility, etc. Because of this, humans try to control them by making the beastfolk think humans are superior to humans because humans are assholes.
~
My hand hurts! I don't really remember much more. The main thing I should be worried about right now is the war that'll happen in approximately two years from now when Knox is in his final year of school.
Aplana will be taken down by Fascus with the help of Efluya. There are other countries, but I don't know the names of those countries. I'm only 7 as of right now, so I'm pretty small. Especially since I'm malnourished. You could count my ribs and my spine poked out a little. For some reason, my face wasn't gaunt, just normal looking. Probably the last amount of fat I have on my body.
To avoid death by war, I'll leave Aplana! Then I can find some way to sneak into Efluya and for the most part I'll be good! There are some obvious holes in that plan, but I'll worry about it later.

The biggest problem is money. How on earth will I get any money to quickly get over the border before they find out I'm missing?
"Your dinner," a maid barged in, not bothering to be polite. Light bulb!
I tugged on her skirt when she was about to leave. She tried to smack my hand away, "get your filthy hands off me!" I tugged on her skirt more. She finally shoved me to the ground and stomped off.
Heehee! Got it! This lil shit hid gold items from the other castles under her skirt! She never noticed the small clinks of gold hittting the floor or my little hand grabbing them and tossing them under the desk since she was so focused on getting my other hand off!
Sometimes I scare myself with my intelligence.
Kidding, I'm amazed it actually worked. I expected her to notice me right away. Thank god for the unobservant!
I grabbed the only magical item I had- a bag which could hold as much as you wanted and it'll always look empty and stay light- and shoved my clothes in there along with the gold, some journals, books, a quill with a closed thing of ink, my handy knife, and a spare pair of shoes. My clothes were commoner clothing, so I didn't have to worry about standing out. I tossed on a black cloak and snuck out
A thrill shot through me as I snuck through the mostly empty castle. It was pretty easy to sneak out, way easier than I thought it would be. I kept my cat ears down against my head in hopes people wouldn't notice them.
I ventured from pawn shop to pawn shop, only giving them one gold item to not seem suspicious. Some gave me a look of pity, probably thinking I was some kid selling their mother's precious necklace/gem/whateveritisIgavethem in order to be able to get food.
The money piled up and now I have a good $100,000! That maid stole some really valuable stuff! And that wasn't all of the stuff she stole!
At this rate I'll be able to leave Aplana and make a living in Efluya!

The Harrowbird's Crown
(Formerly: Tales of a Harrowed House) Synopsis: This is the tale of an exiled royal family who, after their bloody reunion on the island of Providence, return to a war-torn homeland where once more, powerful forces pit sibling against sibling in a bid for the crown — and once more, the magical streets of Auctor echo their infamous motto: “Fire will Reign as Harrowbirds Soar!” From his humble beginnings as a shoemaker’s son, his year spent as a daringly brazen orphan caught between rivaling Houses and a mad ghost, and his fight for the crown after his return to Auctor, Corbyn faces a coming-of-age story unlike any before him as he discovers magic and birthright are two things he never knew he had. From the intimate narrative of a childhood that was never her own, her year spent struggling to find the person she is rather than the person her family needs her to be, the secrets she hides, and the truths she finds, Halle discovers herself on the fabled island of Providence as her House collapses around her, bids to enter a legendary school of magic in her homeland of Auctor, and fights for a crown she never knew she wanted. A high-action, character-focused story written with a poet’s styling, The Harrowbird’s Crown is a tale that will transport readers into the conflict and conquest of a royal family back on the rise. General Information: This story is more traditionally plotted. While the beginning may seem to start out slowly, when shit hits the fan: the action is constant, the mysteries are satisfying, and the character development is rewarding. Chapters are usually between 2.5-3.5 thousand words (though some, like the first and second chapters, can run up to 5k words). When it’s long it means that the chapter will just have that much content in it. There’s Action, Mystery, Fantasy, Comedy, and some Psychological undertakings. Romance hasn’t come up yet, but it may in future chapters. I try to have chapters out every Sunday at 7:00 CST Book One: The Ghost of Providence

Delicate as Glass
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Nuri, an [Assistant Glassworker], only has a single Skill. It’s really not fair. He’s worked in the hot shop his entire life, following in his father’s footsteps after his parents passed away, but he’s stuck. Despite possessing above-average talent as an artisan, he still hasn’t shed his [Assistant] status, gained a second Skill, or even leveled enough to reach the first Threshold. Besides, he’s bored; most days he daydreams of adventure and becoming a hero, or pines for the renown that’s sure to be his if he evolves his Class into a [Master Glass Smith], but nothing ever changes—until suddenly, fate strikes, and nothing is ever the same again. These days, Nuri sees more magic, prestige, and adventure than he can handle as he gets swept up in realm-shaking conspiracies and desperate fights for his life. Maybe a boring life wasn’t so bad after all. Disclaimers: 1) Names were mostly chosen through random generators and aren’t necessarily final. If they seem derivative or boring, blame RNG. 2) Skills, Classes, levels, and the entire system is currently a work in progress; please be kind if it’s not very well fleshed out yet. 3) This is the first full-length novel I've set out to write without a single plot point ready. I had nothing in mind other than a recent visit to a hot shop. Molten glass is pretty awesome. 4) Related, I know much less about glass than I’d like. I did some research, but mistakes are bound to happen. If you have a correction, thanks! Please be polite about it. 5) The prose is my experimental attempt at first-person, present tense. I realize it may not be everyone’s preference, but I hope you’ll give it a try anyway!
