you stood just outside of the s.h.i.e.l.d. carrier that you were supposed to be on. instead, some asshole h.y.d.r.a. agents had decided to jump you. you weren't going to go with them willingly. thus, a fight began.

maria stumbled into the pilot seat, turning on the engine. determination washed over her as the low hum of the plane stirred, but as she gazed out the window and saw you winning the fight against the enemies, she could only smile.

you finished the last guy off in a chokehold, slamming his body against the asphalt and wiping your hands against each other. dirt and grime covered your palms, but you didn't care. you looked through the front window of the plane, smiling at maria.

"c'mon, soldier!" she yelled sarcastically. "we got work to do."
