Your sister was talented as fuck. Everyone in your family knew that ever since she had started auditioning for any role at school. It was only natural for her to start looking for professional jobs as it was her passion and knew nothing else would compare to it.

Therefore, you weren't surprised when she called screaming that she had gotten a major part in Supergirl. Both you and your sister watched the show together to have some sort of bonding thing. It did help that you had like the biggest crush on the woman who played Lena but that was a well kept secret.

Because the new job was all the way in Canada, your family had to pack up and move across the sea. Filming only last a couple of months but your parents figured it would be a good idea as she would have much more opportunities to try out for other films and shows.

Moving across the sea and into a new country sucked. The money was hard getting used to and so did the driving. It was a crazy thing to soon realize that the steering wheel was on the left hand side of the car. That one took a while getting used to but you got it a few weeks in after continuously getting on the right side and not finding any wheel.

Since your parents were always called in early for their work, the responsibility to take your sister to work had fallen to you. You didn't mind as it gave you some time to talk to her.

Her first day was a disaster. She had come practically crying that maybe the job wasn't for her and she had made a mistake. The only thing that you could do is hold her and tell her that she was picked for a reason. That she was meant for the role and this was the start of her career. She soon ended up falling asleep after spending a few hours crying.

Her next day was a little bit better. You told her to call you for any reason that she needed you to and that you would pick her up at any hour. With that said, you drove home hoping her day was much better.

You thanked god or whoever was out there when she came up to your car with a wide smile. You began to ask questions about what had happened and the only thing was that she met a friend. She was exhausted and didn't look like answering more question so you left her alone.

The next couple of weeks went like that and you were grateful for whatever friend she had made as she was much more comfortable at her new job.

(Sister's name) was running late. You had come to the gate to pick her up and after a few minutes of not showing up you decided to call her.

"Hey, are you okay? Will you be working late?" You asked as she answered.

"Oh shoot. I'm so sorry. I meant to send you a text about working a little later. Come in and you can stay at my trailer while you wait. I'm not too sure how long it'll be."

You assured her it was fine and made your way inside. Since you were on the guest list, you were given a pass and directed to your sister's trailer. What you didn't expect was to find someone sleeping on her couch. You couldn't exactly tell who it was until you managed to get closer to the woman that was laying down.

Your eyes widened and tried rushing out of the trailer but was unable to do so as you knocked down a vase, managing to break it in pieces.

"(Sister's name)? Are you already finished?" You hear her call out from the couch.

Not getting any reply, Katie turned around to see what was going on when she spotted you.

"You must be (y/n). (Sister's name) has told me a lot about you. I'm Katie." She held out her hand and you quickly shook it.

"Um hey. Nice to meet you. I can't say the same thing but what I do know is that you've made her move much easier to deal with. Thank you."

"You don't have to thank me. She's pretty fun to spend time with."

"But I must. You wouldn't believe the 180 she did on her second day. It made a big difference on her after meeting you and thank you."

The door was opened and your sister stepped.

"Hey, I see you met Katie. Katie, this is (y/n), my annoying sister." She rolled her eyes playfully and gave the two of you hugs.

"I'm not annoying!"

"Sure. Keep telling yourself that. I'm ready to go. Hey, Katie, do you want to go get something to eat with us? I know you're already done and you must be starving."

Katie shook her head and grabbed her things to head outside.

"I couldn't. I don't want to interrupt this sister bond."

"Nonsense. Think of it as a thank you dinner. Now come on. I'm starving."

You led the two of them to your car and drove them to the nearest pizza place.

You had a great time with Katie and hoped this wasn't the last time you hung out with her. When your sister headed out to the bathroom, you used this opportunity to ask for her number.

"I really had a great time. Thank you again for everything that you've done for her. I think she would have been miserable if she hadn't met you."

"I just gave her a little and that's all. But enough about her, I want to know more about you."

The two of you turned to the bathroom when you heard the door open.

"Maybe we can do this another time? Possibly without the annoyance."

She laughed loudly, quickly covering up her mouth to avoid any stares.

"She's not that bad but I would love to."

Taking out a pen, she wrote down her number on a napkin for you. Once your sister had gotten back, you paid for the food and drove the two of them home.

"I saw the way you were looking at her." You hear her say from her seat.

"I have no idea what you're talking." You said innocently.

"Mhm. I'm calling it now but the two of you will eventually date. I saw the way she was looking at you too."

This only made you smile. You were glad that you weren't the only one that had done so.

It took you a couple of hours to send her a quick 'hey, this is (y/n).' She replied almost instantly.

'I know silly. You're the only one that I gave my number to.'

'I had a really great time today. Maybe we could do this again.'

It was like she purposely made you wait for her answer as it took her a while to reply.

'I thought you might never ask. I would love to.'

Both of you picked a day that you were free on and said your goodnights as it was late. You ended up falling asleep with a smile on your face at the thought of going out with Katie. She had a similar look while falling asleep.
