You're been married to Chloe for around several years. Even managed to have a beautiful daughter with her named Trixie. Life was good on Earth despite one of your brothers constantly telling you how you were wanted back in heaven.

You've been working with Chloe for much longer than you've been married. The memory of your first case together was still fresh on your mind and you knew that you would never be able to forget it as it had been the day you decided to make her your wife.

It's only been your first month in Earth and you were bored. You had already done everything and everything that you decided maybe it was about time you headed home. There was really nothing left for you to do and honestly you were getting sick of your brother coming out in the strangest places to tell you that you are needed back home. You always ignored him and would always claim you were way too busy to go back. It helped making him back off a lot of the times.

It was finally Friday and you figured spending your last day on Earth at your favorite club was the way to go. You got all dressed up and used the shortcut to avoid dealing with traffic. It's when you suddenly spotted a woman being held at gunpoint while she handed him everything. You hesitated to interrupt the assault as you had always been told to never deal with human conflict. It would mess things up and frankly you weren't in the mood to deal with your brother at the moment. On the other hand, you didn't want to watch the woman die so you yelled for him to get away, causing him to panic and accidentally shoot her. He rushed off once he realized what he had done.

"Hey, it's okay. Help is on the way. Just hold on."

You covered the wound with your hand, making sure to keep enough pressure to slow down the bleeding while the paramedics came.

"You're (full name), right?"

You nodded, too busy getting lost in her eyes as she talked.

"I'm Detective Chloe Decker, I'm here to take down your statement. Can you come down to the station with me?"

You nodded and followed her to it.

Once you had left the station after giving her what you saw, you realized that perhaps there was something more that Earth could offer and figured there was nothing wrong with staying longer.

From then on, you did everything you could to be near her until eventually the two of you became work partners and eventual romantic partners.

You forced yourself to focus back to the crime scene only to realize a man standing way too close to Chloe.

"Are you finally going to take me up on that offer, Detective?"

He asked with that charming smile that always made men and women fall for him.

"Look Lucifer, I appreciated your help on the case but we aren't partners and I'm certainly not looking to hook up with someone. I'm married."

She held up her ring finger, showing him the ring that you had gotten her.

"Oh, with who."

It's when you decided to speak up.

"To me."

He turned around to the source of the voice. Imagine his surprise only to realize that his dear sister had gotten married without telling anyone.

"Well if it isn't my dear sister. You've certainly made a good choice. Please excuse me for behaving that way. I just couldn't help myself around the gorgeous lady."

You gripped his tie, pulling him down to face you.

"Don't think that I won't hesitate to force you back down to hell. You can either act like the brother I was never able to be around or get out of hour way."

You sighed in relief as he pulled you in for a hug. It had been so long since you've seen him.

"I missed you too much (y/n). Lets not let dear old dad, separate us again."

"Deal."

"Excellent, now come on. You have so much to tell me about your new life. I heard you have a kid."
