《You/Katie Mcgrath and others Imagines》You/Lena Luthor - CADMUS Part 1

Summary: You're captured by CADMUS
Prompt by: a_lone_soul
You were 5 years older than Kara. When your father , Zor-El, had come to learn about Krypton's doom, he had confided in you about his plan. Send Kara first with her mission to protect and teach Kal-El of Krypton and if time permitted to send you soon after to help protect the two of them.
When Kara had come to learn that you weren't going to be with her in the ship, she refused to step inside. Claiming that she wasn't going to lose another family member. Your father had made you promise to not tell Kara about the fact that you were going to be shipped later just in case something happened but if Kara didn't step inside the ship in the next few minutes, the probability of you getting out alive would get smaller.
"Kara, it's going to be alright. We're going to get out of here and start a new life together in Earth. You need to get on or we won't get out of here alive."
Kara was hesitant to leave but she trusted you.
"Promise?"
"I promise."
You gave her a tight hug and helped her get on the ship. You father quickly prepared for the ship to take off and sent her on her way.
Kara's refusal to get inside had lowered the amount of time that you had to get out. Zor-El had no idea if your ship would even get out before the planet exploded but he had to try. He had you help him set everything up and quickly helped you climb inside.
"We love you, (y/n). We had hoped that it would had never come to this but we failed. This is the least we could do. Please take care of Kara and Kal-El."
You just simply nodded. Unable to talk as you cried. Your father closed your ship and sent you off.
Similar to Kara's situation, you had gotten stuck in the Phantom Zone. You had no way of getting out and the only thing that kept you going was the fact that your sister was still out there. Eventually something cause your ship to return to its destined course and soon enough, you were making your way to Earth.

You hadn't even taken your first step on Earth when there was suddenly men and women surrounding your ship with strange green fragments that weakened you. You fell to your knees and suddenly there was a man and a woman standing before you.
"Are you sure she's like Superman, Lex?"
"Mother, I've studied my whole life about everything related to Krypton. These symbols on her ship are exactly like Clark's and the sigil on the ship is exactly like his. She must be related to him in some way."
"Very well. Take her in."
You suddenly felt a prick on your neck before passing out.
You woke up to the feeling of cold water being throw at you. You noticed you had been changed from your Kryptonian clothes to some sort of thin sheet that barely covered your body and that the room was covered in a red glow that reminded you of home. You were shivering and all you wanted was to hug yourself but you couldn't. Your hands were being held by some chains hanging from the ceiling and your legs were tied down to keep you from moving.
"W-what do you want?"
"Ah, you're awake. Finally."
You glared at him but didn't say anything. You weren't even sure how he had managed to find you.
"I asked what you wanted."
"You don't get to make any demands. What's your name?"
"(y/n) Zor-El."
"El? As in the House of El?"
You frowned at the mention of it. How did this bald man come to know about your family.
"Yes, as in the House of El."
He smiled, clapping in excitement at the thought of having someone like Superman at his disposal.
"We're going to have so much fun."
Again, there was another prick at your neck before passing out.
Being in this facility was pure hell. There were days that you just wished you had been with your parents when Krypton had been destroyed.
They would beat you to the point that you passed out. You had multiple scars all over your legs, arms and back from the constant beatings you would take.

The only reason why you were even alive was the fact that you had developed powers that your father had told you about. The bald man, Lex, as you had come to know, had managed to figure out a way to only allow you enough sunlight to heal your body before being bathed in the red glow again.
Your healing powers could only do so much and you had developed scars from the constant healing.
The only thing that kept you alive was the Kara was somewhere out there. You had to be strong for Kara. You had made a promise to be there for her and you weren't going to break it. You just needed a way to figure out how to break out from this hell hole.
Years, had passed and you were still being used as their own personal punching bag as well as test subject for any kind of experiment they had thought of.
By some kind of miracle, something must have happened to Lex as he just stopped coming. You weren't sure what had happened but you were grateful. The beatings weren't as often and you were no longer being experimented on.
The even better part was that although they tried to continue Lex's experiments, the man that they had been put in charge of them, simply went against their orders. He gave them fake results and you were thankful for him.
"Why are you helping me?"
The man had been surprised to hear your voice, he managed to drop the clipboard he was currently using. He quickly picked it up and then turned to face the camera that had been positioned to you and him. He stood up and grabbed vials that Lex used to take your blood and made it seem like he was taking your blood as he covered the camera with his back.
"Before they kidnapped me, I had two daughters that I loved so much. It kills me that I can't be with them and I miss them so much."
You weren't sure what he was getting at.
"One of them was adopted but that didn't matter. I loved her as much as I loved my other daughter. The one I had adopted had lost everything. Her parents and sister. She only had her cousin but he refused to take her in. Saying that he was just too busy to be taking care of a kid and so I took her in. Raised her as one of my own and helped her with all her struggles."
The girl that he was talking to you about sounded a lot like what Kara might have gone through but you didn't want to get ahead of yourself. You didn't want to lose the one thing that kept you going but you needed to know.
"What was her name?"
"Kara"
At the sound of her name, you lost it. You were glad that Kara had found a loving family to take her in but you've lost so much time. You weren't even sure if she remember you or if she hated you for not keeping the promise.
"Does she remember her sister?"
"She did. She would always talk about her. Telling all kinds of crazy stories about what the two of you would always do and it kept her hope alive."
His watch started beeping, signaling that they were going to come in and take you back to your cell.
"I'm sorry but I need to take some of your blood. I promise to do my best to get you out of here."
You just nodded, silently thanking him. This man had given you hope and made you more determined than ever to get out.
