In a calm mood, Valentina woke up in a dazed state of mind, her hands covering her eyes in which was welcomed with the warm feeling of sunlight. Her eyes flickered towards the empty feeling of warmth from the side of the bed, reliving the feeling of another body piled against her tightly.

"Ah, sleeping beauty's awake." A soft voice spoke from the corner of the room, in which a womanly figure approached from the doorway wearing only a white button-up shirt she used for business outfits.

Valentina's orbs flashed to the minimal clothing she wore, her thighs were left exposed with no shorts, and through the button-up shirt, a visible print of Hazel's black laced bra displayed."Eyes are up here, Amon." Hazel tsked, using her hands to snap her fingers in an effort to remove Valentina from her chest area.

Repositioning herself, Valentina sat up, her loose t-shirt hanging just below her waist, and her shorts riding up a little as she brushed her hair with her fingers. Calmly, her eyes met marbles for eyes that were as raw and green as jade jewellery.

A flash of memories hit Valentina, ones that revisited the moment on the small yacht, memories that she wanted to adore. She remembered how soft yet harsh Hazel could be, how she savoured the taste of the blonde.

She wanted to taste her again, to feel her lips writhing on Hazels, and so she did. Without another word, Valentina pulled Hazel into a kiss, her hands placed on the back of the woman's neck, drawing her closer in an instant.

The sudden impact made the two fall back onto the bed, Valentina on the bottom, and Hazel's hovering over her. Tongues exploring and an exchange of saliva, the two felt alive, ecstatic almost.

Hesitantly, Valentina was the first to break away before she bit and dragged the lip of the woman straddling her. "Hi."

"Hey." Hazel returned, smiling down at the girl below her who was softly catching her breath. "Why'd you leave me so high and dry, mhm?" She hummed, trailing her thumb down the girl's lower lip.

Valentina gulped as she watching the woman's eyes glisten at her submissiveness. "You know you love a little tease." The brunette said as she cocked her eyebrow, smirking a bratty smile she knew made Hazel blush.

Pecking her lips, Hazel smiled, "Don't think that me kissing you won't stop me from being a bitch to you."

"Wouldn't plan on it." Valentina replied pecking her lips once more. 

"God you two are so cute together." The female voice broke the duo apart, their gaze fell on the already opened door and the sound of a photo being taken. Mia this time, was the one to break their little PDA session. "Defs posting this."

Valentina laughed at her technically mother in law's effort to use slang, it was cute. "Anything planned today Ms Grayson?"

Mia ignored her formality and leaned on the door. "Nothing much, Teagan and I were gonna play tennis again, unless you two would like to join."

Valentina looked next to her, silently pleading with her sister in coming with her, to spend more family time. With an uneasy glance, Hazel slowly, but surely nodded her head in granted permission. "We'll love to join you." The brunette responded after Mia dismissed herself with a happy smile.

"If I bleed again I'm blaming you." Hazel huffed as she collapsed on the bed in one swift motion, making the brunette laugh at her exhaustion.

Leaving the woman on the bed by herself, the younger girl stood up, looking down at her phone in the process of walking to the bathroom just for her face to drain of colour.

An unknown number had texted her a message and an image to give evidence of her brother's entanglement. Get your brother before he ends up in worse outcomes, Valentina read, seeing a beaten-up brother that laid limply on the chair he was given in the police department, with handcuffs bearing his wrists together.

Hazel noticed how Valentina's sweet expression turned lifeless in a split second, it almost scared her of how fast her emotions were displayed physically. "Amon, are you alright?" Hazel whispered, in an effort to break the younger girl out of her daze.

"Y-yeah." Valentina stuttered. "Just don't think I'll make it to the tennis match, that's all." She somewhat lied, telling partly the truth in order to keep her real problems buried, like the rest of them.

Hazel's mood softened in hearing the girl stutter unexpectedly, "Okay, that's fine. We'll just re-arrange your way around it." The older girl stood up and walked towards the brunette, kissing her forehead as a comforting gesture. "I'll see you downstairs, okay?"

And with that, Valentina nodded her head, secretly knowing she'd be gone by then.
