Aliyah's POV

"How about we throw a party tomorrow" Carson said and I listened

"Mom and Dad are out of town and won't be back till Sunday"

We were currently in his room. Well I was there but my mind was elsewhere

I noticed Carson moving closer to me

"You always seem distracted whenever we're together"

I looked him in the eyes, trying to see if I could spot that same spark like I see in Ava's.

What was wrong with me. There's always this weird trigger of emotions around her, like it's about to explode

Carson and I have been together for almost two years, though we were apart for some months cause I caught him cheating with that two faced bitch, the hypocrite I called my bestfriend. But I decided to forgive him and get back together cause I loved him. Right? Do I love him?

"Aliyah!"

His voice came again a bit angry

"Sorry babe I zoned off for a bit"

he sighed

"You're always doing that"

I frowned

"It's always about sex with you" I said annoyed.

He brought his face close to mine

With that I proceeded to leave, ignoring the call from Carson parents

I wanted to be out of here as fast as possible. I didn't want to go home. I didn't have the time in the world to think things through. So I dialed Ava's number

She picked but remained quiet

"Hey" I sniffled

"Can I come over" she remained quiet

"I don't want to be alone" I almost cried out

It was still silent. Then she spoke

"Sure"
